Old Hall in Leeds

Waited for some time at the bar to be served. Ordered some food to eat outside which consisted of the Ultimate Chicken Burger & Chips and the Mixed Grill, pint of Guinness and a pint of Diet Cola. Total of £37.28 Ultimate Chicken Burger & Chips was reasonably very tasty with a nice crisp to the chicken and skin on fries were great too. Mixed Grill was disappointing really with the steak not cooked as requested and the gammon was of really poor quality (very fatty) however the rest was fine. Chips were nice and crispy, egg was perfect, peas were just ok, chicken was ok sausage ok and the onion rings were slightly overcooked but not a big issue. One thing I will mention is the meats had a weird smell to them more so the steak and gammon. Diet cola tasted extremely sugary however the pint of Guinness was fantastic. Screaming kids inside were also next level and we were outside. This is nothing to do with the pub however but it was like they were high on red bull. My honest review however this could have been a one off looking at some of the previous reviews.

Busy but always a good atmosphere

Old Hall took our football team in after our match and made a beautiful curry for both teams. Both the football club and pub came across very positively and generous, even catering for members who were vegan and vegetarian. The food and drinks were great and we will always recommend this pub going forwards!

I tried to watch the olympics in peace but people was talking about impregnating eachover when there 50 yr old and already had 6 wives back to the olympics I couldn’t see because of how many tvs the fire exit signs led me to the toilets I can’t practice my rock climbing on the fence someone was getting laughed at for wearing a pink vest because he now identifies as a girl and also there wast wo guys talking about kissing eachover not a high enough fence a guy sumersalted and shouted wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyq

Came in for the england euros match and atmosphere was like no other! Best pub for sport in farlsey!

We recently had our mums 50th birthday here. The could not have been nicer, the food was beautiful and very reasonably priced, the server was extremely friendly and polite, and they even brought us a round of birthday shots! Will 100% be back!

Just been to sample the new food menu with my mum and daughter (who works here )and I must say it didn't disappoint. I went for the chilli chicken kebab, it wasnt spicy, but it was tasty. My mum went for the doner one, she thought it was delicious. The presentation was amazing! The only thing I could say was wrong with it was that it was too big for us 😊 we could of shared one and still had enough .....well worth the £10! The service was fasts, efficient, and friendly as always. George and his bar staff work so hard to make the Old Hall the place it is. It's family and pet friendly making it the perfect place for catch up👌 🥰. Never had a bad meal, drink or experience here .... Great local pub 👍

Went for lunch food wasn’t very good and drinks were okay need to restock soap faster than an hour though saw someone else ask too and nothing happened.

Quality place, full of idiots who know how to have a good. If your luck you might see the big brown bear down there selling curries. Dj is a bit of a knobby know it all though. Beware of the guy with a real small head

Moved away from the area but always try pop in when I'm back that way to visit family. Even though the clientele is every changing, it's still as welcoming now as it was when I was a regular. A "proper" boozer as they should be.

Great pub, deceptively big inside with lots of indoor & outdoor seating. Dog friendly and the staff are all lovely. Plenty of screens for the football and have a large menu.

I've been going in this pub for years. It's a nice place with good selection of drinks and bar snacks. They also do lovely food at reasonable prices. It does get full of the local lads for sporting events etc.

My wife and I had a night out and ended here. We ended up in the bar with the big screen as there was boxing on.Thoroughly enjoyed theevening as we dont get out much.

Called in on Friday afternoon most of the food tables were full of people just drinking.

We have always had family meals for our parents birthdays at the Old Hall, the food and service is always fantastic. Sadly Our dad passed away last month , We held his funeral here, at the pub he loved. George and his amazing team did him and our family proud. going above and beyond to make the day a special one for all that came to see dad off.

Brilliant pub,the food is really good and very reasonably priced…we recently had my dads wake at the old hall George and all the staff was absolutely brilliant it was a very busy day/night they handled it perfectly sorted all the food out on arrival then did a later warm variety of food which took a lot of pressure off us as a family knowing that George and his staff had every thing under control thank you all again for all your hard work ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great beer choice at a good price and the food menu is good too! All the staff are wonderfull, especially that lad called Lawrence. The place to go if you want to watch live sport accross different channels. Thanks Lawrence, all the very best.

What a great Traditional pub this is with great ales and delicious food. George the pub land lord is very easy on the eye and I always appreciate the wink and smile from the lovely Lawrence. The free pool table is ironed daily to give it a ridiculously fast and true feel with different pool cues available for all abilities. I loved the fact that dogs were welcomed but once they opened their mouths I quickly moved to a different part of the pub to avoid the unnecessary ear ache. Thankfully the pub is exceptionally spacious so if you need to avoid any unpleasant people it’s quite easy to do so.

09/11/21 Friendly locals pub with food. Serving 5 real ales from the extended Marstons pub list - on this visit Hobgoblin, Tetley, Bombardier, Jennings Wainwright & Ringwood Boon Doggle. In need of a refurbishment (allegedly due by the end of 2022). Dog & child friendly. Wheelchair accessible but no disabled facilities. Very handy location for shops etc. and local buses.

Staff are great, food was fantastic. Great selections of ales and the atmosphere was great. Had all football showing too!

I know times have been hard for the hospitality sector but it doesn't justify 3,60 for a pint of Pepsi and charging full price for a badly prepared "frozen” beefburger. ps they don't even sell coffee!

First pub after lockdown. Staff brilliant and totally Covid friendly. Table service outside in the sun. Lovely time with the family etc.

Tables and seating could be better. Don’t understand why there are tables that are way too big in two corners of the room by the pool room. You need a megaphone to have a conversation with someone sitting opposite you.

The cake was good and the lemon tea was very good but I got bored because I had to sit in there for a hour waiting for my sister to finish acting.
