Visited Monday 17th June in a party of 7. Fantastic service from the man (sorry, I didn't see his name), food came quickly and was hot and delicious. Reasonably priced too. Children's menu was just £5.99 for 3 courses and they could have rump steak for main. One of the children with us had the steak which was perfectly cooked. Thank you.

Stopped for breakfast as was 8n the area, walked in at 10.15am and was greeted by perplexed looks, asked if they were open for breakfast and told we actually finish in 15mins. Didn't feel welcome so just used the toilet and left as didn't want to pay for a poor breakfast experience at the end of service. Wasn't a very good welcome as a new customer! So decided to eat elsewhere.

Would highly recommend people to stay away from this place, Went here today ( Sunday ) Upon arrival was faced with a notice saying “Due to staff shortages we are closing at 4pm with last food orders at 3pm!! Which was an awful experience as it was my mums birthday with us already been £15 down in taxi fares and a further £10 to take us elsewhere which we was then £25 down in taxi fares we then gave up all hope after also visiting the other Brewers Fayre at Chain bar roundabout prior to here and we took our business elsewhere. We then ended up at Toby Carvery on Rooley lane which was Absolutely fantastic, the best roast I’ve ever had and all of the staff were lovely, Warm welcoming on arrival. Nice to know where Brewers Fayre’s customer satisfaction/loyalty lies or is at…. Could have at least had the decency to advertise that they would be closed or closing early but no absolutely nothing.

Can anyone tell me why the brickworks is closing the bar and food area making all the staff redundant. They say that there are going to be more hotel rooms but the rooms they have are never full so the only way to fill these extra rooms is by the Government to fill them full of legal immigrants don't ever think this won't happen because they did it to the hotel in tong village oh and by the way they are paid double the amount for the rooms so well done Whitbread's hope you give a thought for the staff you have put out of work when your counting your profits.

Very quiet when we arrived just a quick meal then continuing on a long journey. But Brewers Fayre lived up to it's usual standards with dirty menus, dirty cutlery and sticky table. Meal was gammon, egg and chips and chicken and ham pie, no peas or grilled tomato so might have expected a few more chips...but no. The pie was OK but what cheese? I don't expect much from a Brewers and that's exactly what we got🫥

My brother is disabled and he has a tray, however, usually workers usually look around and see where to put his dinner when there is a tray in front of him, but, a woman called Lucy who works at the Old brickworks today, Monday 6th May, put it straight on his tray and it may seem very small however it's very big for him as he has not had this experience before. As a family, we used to come pretty regularly to this Brewers Fayre, but haven't been in a while since I moved to the other side of Leeds. It's really gone downhill since I was last there. Vastly understaffed, almost 15min wait to queue at the till to order food due to staffing, drinks station covered in spillages, used tea bags, sugar packets, coffee machine warned it needed cleaning the whole time, weekday buffet deal still on the menu, but not actually running, 30min wait for any food to come out... The portions were also drastically smaller than previous visits, and though everything tasted good, we were all left hungry after mains, sides, and a dessert each. I'm sorry to say, I won't be back in a hurry.

Ruined Christmas day and dinner. Billy or whatever his name was kept touching people like kissing, hugging, touching their hands, coming up behind them and putting his arms round them etc. He was also seen drinking glasses of wine while on shift. Food was really bad. No starters after 45 minutes, missing starters, wrong starters, carvery was really bad. Paid extra for things that were on the carvery anyway. Staff no help and didn’t care. Staff didn’t even care about ‘billy’ who was drinking and touching people even though people were complaining about it. Not professional at all. First time all family were together for Christmas dinner so thought we would eat here and it was a mistake. I used to visit nearly every weekend and will never go back after Christmas Day.

A late afternoon visit, courtesy of my son and his family. It had clearly been a good day for the venue as the Carvery was sold out. We therefore contented ourselves with choices from the house menu. There were plenty of friendly staff on, so we were attended to quite promptly. My choice was Gammon with the usual trimmings. There was a bit of a wait as it was prepared and delivered to the table. Yes, it was reasonably well presented and portion wise suited my ageing appetite. The only drawback to the meal is that it was warm rather than hot. Probably due to the delay trying to get everyones meal together at the same time. It was very tasty, and if it had been hotter, it would have been even more enjoyable. My experience was echoed by my son and his wife. The grandkids seemed to enjoy their meals with no complaints. The temperature of the meal was a bit of a downer for me. However, it was not so bad as to make a formal complaint and hasn't put me of revisiting. Another day, who knows, It could be so different.

Over 30 minute wait for meals which were just burgers , lasagna and kids meal. No staff came to check back on our table once food had arrived which is poor customer service. The man working the till failed to let us know they had run out of chilli con carne which was supposed to come with our burger , we only knew this because the table next to us received there food before we did and had complained about this. Never have I seen peppercorn sauce be served in the smallest egg cup???? I wouldn’t mind about a wait time if the place was busy I’d understand but the place was rather empty and this particular time. Came for dinner, spent £80 on 4 of us to eat and the food was rubbish and tasted bland and like it was reheated. Tiny portions and not good at all. Kept missing toppings off of the foods too. We had to send 2 meals back because only half of the advertised things were on the plates. Server stood there while we ate waiting for us to finish our starters with plates in his hands which also made us feel rushed. To top it off on a busy Friday they decided to close the play area to clean it!! Surely they would of chose a Monday or something to do that on where it’s not as busy. Used to rate it highly here but not worth it. Added photo is a dessert that was £5.29. Advertised as having raspberries on it but apparently they are them tiny flakes on top. Only one mouthful taken from this. Pure sugar no taste.

Having booked a 90th Birthday party some 3 weeks previously, upon arrival, the building temperature was cold, there wasn't that many people in the place. The food was poor ie the plates were cold for the main meal, most of the veg was luke warm. The establishment messed up the order, missing out one order completely. The hot deserts were again served on cold plates. One saving grace was the the profiteroles were nice "cold desert, ice cold plate" but they did go overboard on the chocolate sauce. We don't mind paying for service where service warrants it, but to be let down so badly was an understatement. Usually the Brickworks has a pleasant atmosphere and a friendly atmosphere. Setting is very quaint and atmospheric with the Christmas decorations however very cold due to an issue with the heating? The food itself was rather bland and felt like it was either rushed/reheated/microwaved and for the cost better options available. This is the same for both breakfast and main meals with one waitress helping in the restaurant not knowing what an ingredient in one of my meals were. Service is appalling slow, 3 nights in a row I waited over 1 1/2 hours as a single dinner for 2 courses. Each night being told they were short staffed. Finally ordered food and when the food arrived it was thrown together and did not look presentable and the quality was poor. I was asked if i required any condiments and I asked for some which never arrived. I then ordered deserts and when the deserts arrived the waiter was trying to put them on the table without clearing the plates from the main course. I has to ask him to clear the plates away. Surely you clear the table before bringing more food. Also lots of small children running around the pub unsupervised by any adults. Trio of pies nice, burgers, nice carvery nice but we did go at half 5 so the carvery was finishing so to be very honest it was nice but I bet it would have been so good fresh! I was poorly after but iv put that down to the roasties having alot of oil. Atmosphere It was very quiet for a Sunday so notch of an atmosphere but it was nice to have a quiet meal. Possibly the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Sweet and sour onions. Wrong type of noodles. And god knows what they did to the Thai curry - used vinegar instead of coconut milk maybe. 90% of it went in the bin

Weird place. Aggressive clientele who tried to fight us for “looking at them”. Bar and door staff no help and also aggressive when we tried to get help.

Lovely family run business, even with their American yorkshire accent 😀
