Entré de la calle, agarré una mesa afuera y ordené. La comida llegó rápidamente y todo era muy bueno. Sopa de sushi, arroz y miso, todo bien. Porciones de buen tamaño y buena relación calidad-precio. Vale la pena mirar.

Okasan is out favourite Japanese in London, and one of our favourite neighbourhood restaurants. We come here regularly. Dinner with family - the choice on the menu is excellent - the tempura avocado is always a hit, but all dishes are excellent. It is incredibly good value. It was about £16 per head, including drinks and service. Awesome! Service is always friendly and brisk. It's a very relaxed, family run place - we often see the owners children who are cheerful, relaxed and calm. They only have a few tables, so we always book ahead. Recommended - you won't be disappointed.

Our favourite restaurant in Notting Hill. Wonderful, high quality Japanese food in a cosy, family run little place. We Loveee it here Welcoming, great food, lovely service. Really Fantastic value. Perfect wee spot.

Absolutely brilliant. Everything about this lovely little restaurant will put a smile on your face. The welcoming manageress / front of house lady is efficient and thoughtful. The atmosphere is friendly and very calm, with the owners delightful young children quietly entertaining themselves by the counter. The extensive menu contains all of the classics that you would hope and expect to see. We had chicken yakitori - delicate but gutsy at the same time. Deep fried soft-shelled crab - stunningly tasty. Tempura avocado - superbly light and lacy batter. Salmon sashimi was beautifully fresh, high quality fish. We had a selection of sushi rolls: all were expertly crafted, and very tasty. The standout dish for me was the crispy prawn tempura rolls - just fabulous, one of the best things I have eaten all year. This is not a fancy, glossy place. It is authentic and real. Go here to eat well and spend happy times with those you love. The prices are absolutely superb value. Three of us ate very well for £52 (including service). I have often heard - and used the phrase myself - that "cheap" and "sushi" should never be found in the same sentence. Okasan shows that there is an exception to this rule! The location is great - right next to the fun of Portobello market, perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon of shopping and people watching. Okasan is a well-kept secret - it was recommended to us by a friend who has been going there for years. It is immediately a family favourite for us, and I hope we will go there often for years to come. Very highly recommended.

My partner and I ended up there by chance looking for a place to watch a Euro match. The owners were very nice to us. We had a couple of beers and stayed for dinner. The food was good and the waiting time was short. The price didn't seem expensive for London. I would go back. Great food - fresh sushi - so many selections of sushi, salads, rice dishes and noodles, good location especially outdoor seating....lovely family service!

This was an amazing experience, with quick and efficient service. The outdoor seating meant that we got to enjoy the sunshine and was surprisingly comfy!! The sushi was perfect even for the non-fish lovers with the Crispy Chicken Roll, but also the Mixed box set was fab ( and it came with either edamame or miso soup ). This is a really lovely lunch option and very affordable for students!

Great place to eat asian food in London. The staff was incredibly friendly and they paid lot of attention to us. Highly recommended.

We being a bit late in the night, we asked if they were still serving food and they said yes! Food was tasty, FRESH and delicious! Price very affordable for the amount of quality and quantity! Staff very friendly! We had a great time and we enjoyed everything! Definitely a good place! Very recommended!

The restaurant is rather small and soulless: dark plain walls, small tables. Despite booking, the waitress (who was in charge/mother of a small baby in the restaurant during service) had no clue and did not find the booking. Fortunately, we arrived early. I had asked whether they had gluten-free options when I booked, but on arrival the waitress who did not have a good command of English told me I could only have plain sushi - nothing cooked at all and no soy sauce. I felt somewhat misled. The food was very slow in coming out to us. It was better than pre-packed supermarket items, but more cafe than restaurant. in quality. We will not be returning.

The price of lunch set and the service are good. I have been there only once, and my salmon set wasn’t a pleasant experience but I can’t say for other dishes. I ordered salmon set and wondered why it tooled so long since there was apparently no other orders in line. And then my worries came true, the time I waited was probably for the salmon to be defrosted and it wasn’t defrosted well so the texture was awful. I wasn’t really hungry, so 6.73 for 2 slice of sashimi, 2 nigiri, and 3 rolls, plus a bowl of a bit too salty miso soup was enough for me, at an acceptable price. The sushi rice wasn’t cooked fully, as it’s hard in the middle like risotto. I think this is more unacceptable than the raw fish. It’s run by a young lovely couple, and I hope they could find ways to improve the dishes or just keep those good ones.

The fact he was late was ok as it was due to an accident. The food hvowever was not good. It was overcooked and cold and had hardly any sauce.

Nice place for a quick snack. Or no. Relaxed service. Good Salmon Tariaki and I was not hurried away when finished. Some music from portibelo street market but otherwise quiet surrounding even outside.

Will never order again, spent 17 pounds, didnt fill me up AT ALL and had to go to local restaurant where I paid 5.5 for takeaway japanese noodles.

El peor sushi que he probado en mi vida. No sabor fresco. Platos calientes eran comestible, sushi no estaba. Nos rechazaron. Nunca jamás la orden de nuevo. Sushi Shop en Westbourne Grove o comer en Tokio es mucho, mucho mejor. Para nosotros una experiencia muy mala, pero quizás no tuvimos suerte.

Si estás pidiendo para llevar o para un rápido almuerzo, recomiendo llamar con antelación para pedir ya que no tienen el más rápido, pero esto es porque está preparado con ingredientes frescos. No es el más barato, pero muy agradable.

The squid and octopus nigiri was uneadable. Literally i could not bite the squad as it was stale and tough like rubber. Completely unfresh and amazed how they could send it out for delivery like that. Katsu curry smelt a bit off and just wasn't very good to taste. I would of called and complained but after this meal i don't think I would of wanted anything complimentary even if they did offer something. Just avoid. There are other places in the area that are not to bad.

The food showed up an hour and a half later (said on the website it would take up to 60 mins) then when it finally arrived, it was completely the wrong order! I had ordered lots of hot food and this was 2 small trays of sushi. Disaster

Lovely food... Some of the better sushi I've eaten. We massively over ordered as we couldn't decide. Can recommend the chicken gyozas, duck hand roll & the ramens (which my friends ate & didn't stop talking about all the next day!!)

I suggest this sushi restaurant! Fish is really fresh and there are several rolls to taste.The restaurant is not big but enough for couple of friends.

We entered and the waitress just said nothing. We asked if we could sit down, she said 'yes'. She did not break a smile once and answered/hissed only yes and no. However, we had Tempura and it was delicious!!! We then has Salmon Teriyaki...I would have just ordered more Tempura as the Salmon had a lot to be desired, not very good at all.

Do not go to this restaurant, one of the waitress is very rude and can't spoilt your dinner. Probably the only Japanese person I have ever met is rude. Also, it is full of creeps and could feel scary to be there. I have given this restaurant a third change but with the possibility of having to be served by this girl that obviously hates what she does is impossible. Also, they sometimes turned down orders from deliveroo as being closed and have checked on times and it is not the case. The food barely meet standards so do not bother and go somewhere when you can be treated considerable and have better food.

La calle de Portobello Road en Notting Hill es famosa desde hace siglos por su mercado y por las cosas interesantes que puedes encontrar allí. Pero otra cosa que podemos sumar a todo lo bueno, es la comida, hay mucha variedad dependiendo de las necesidades de cada uno. Okasan Sushi London, es uno de los mejores restaurantes japoneses que hemos probado hasta ahora. El ambiente es muy auténtico, la decoración es genial. Y el servicio estupendo.Fuimos a cenar. Era una noche tranquila a pesar de ser jueves. Descubrimos que tienen una fama muy buena para entrega a domicilio. El precio de los platos son bastante asequibles. La presentación estupenda.Probé calpis, que es una bebida lechosa y dulce. Un buen descubrimiento. Y de platos pedimos algo de sushi de salmón, deliciosos. Y como plato principales: Chicken Teriyaki Don y Chicken Ramen. Ambos platos era bastante abundantes. Nos quedamos muy bien con la cena. Y con menos de 25 libras cenamos de categoría. No había sitio para el postre después de todo.Totalmente recomendado. Tenemos claro que volveremos.

Have ordered from this palce a good few times now. Each time the food has been beyond satisfactory! Prices are a little steep but at the same time the portions are generous! Please if you like good sushi give this place a try!! Their soft shell crab futomaki is one my favourite things to eat :)

Delicious food, fresh and tasty. The place is fairly small but the furnishing is delightful with a very nice japanese comic book -style artwork on the wall. Prices are average for a Japanese restaurant. I will definitely go back there again.

Love, love, love! The fish was really fresh and delicious. Also the duck was much better this time compared to last week (which didn't taste so fresh). Katsu curry great too (portion size a little small though).

The title says it all really. I can't fault this restaurant, the food is absolutely sublime.My only word of warning to anyone planning a visit, and it's not a criticism, is that the beautiful food is all made to order in what seems like a relatively small kitchen, so they can be a little slow to serve large groups. However the staff are very accommodating and have been happy to take pre-orders when we have popped in at lunchtime so that we didn't have to wait.Such an amazing little gem on Portobello Road, I can't wait for my next visit!

The fish was soggy and tasted like it had just been defrosted, hardly the way sashimi ought to be. The katsu curry was a sloppy mess served with horrible rice, and the sushi rolls looked like they had been rolled by someone with goblets for hands and fell apart at the touch. Totally poor quality, never going to order from here again.
