I, and my Grandchildren, love what they call "The Pink Cafe". The staff are always lovely and the owner was so sweet with a little gift to my granddaughter which she was pleased with - thank you so much for the little salt and pepper pots ! The food is always lovely, and we just love it

OhSos is one of the best cafes in my opinion for friends and family dining! I have been there many times and the staff are so kind and respectful.

I saw this small coffee shop on my travels and I decided to stop and i was greeted with the worst service iv ever had the lady was rude and vile I would highly recommend no one wasting there time with this coffee shop absolutely disgusting

Have been several times now but the final visit has confirmed to me what rude staff they have!! We were made to feel totally unwelcome and a bother to be serving! The customer service is zero!! The older gentleman and younger guy that work there kept myself, parents, daughters and nieces waiting outside in freezing temperatures while they tried to sort out a table for us. (plenty of space inside.) They were both SO rude to my dad and told after waiting in the cold for about 5 / 10 minutes that actually they weren't going to serve the 7 of us! Will never ever be returning, don't deserve the custom! I

As usual Jo serves food which is fresh and very good value for money. The staff are always friendly.

Jo closed the cafe for the day so she could entertain 40 members of Catherington WI. We enjoyed a delicous tea served by Jo, Sarah and Pat. Nothing was too much trouble and all members went home very satisfied.

16/11/21I popped in by myself on a busy lunch time for a quick light lunch while in the area after a finding the café on a google search for places nearby and wasn't disappointed. Lovely little venue with great décor which and friendly staff making it a lovely place to be. Great, simplistic menu with perfect portion sizes and beautifully presented food. Tasted just as good as it looked and is all freshly prepared, went down well with really good quality coffee. Most importantly everything is well priced with a lunch and a coffee coming to only £8. Will definitely be returning with family at some point.

I met a friend here for coffee this afternoon & was very impressed. Since my last visit the cafe has been totally refurbished and it’s beautiful. The chairs are comfortable & the staff welcoming and friendly. I had the best oat milk coffee I’ve ever had, so much so that we stayed longer than intended so we could have another! Delicious carrot and orange cake to go with it. Our waitress, Sarah, was friendly & attentive. All in all a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

Really good coffee and vegan cake at this beautifully decorated coffee shop in the centre of Horndean. Our lovely waitress Sarah was efficient and gave great service with a smile!

Great service .. found to be large portions and of good quality. Tables could be cleaned a bit quicker.. but overall will revisit ..

I have just afternoon tea for 5 at Oh So's and had a lovely time. Great value for money. The sandwiches were exceptional! I have never seen so many sandwiches on one plate. They were in bite size pieces which I thought was strange but actually brilliant as you could try so many different fillings! Would thoroughly recommend.

I was looking for the Horndean memorial to the fallen RAF airmen recently installed, despite a search not found ah well. Just after two o`clock and feeling cold, tired and hungry popped in here. Only place reasonably busy on a cold Wednesday afternoon. About 9 tables most with 3 or 4 seats, my order was taken quickly and a flat white coffee arrived followed a few minutes later by my toasted beef, cheese and lettuce sandwich which was acompanied with plain crisps and a good side salad of lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and red onion. A choice of mayonnaisse or salad cream in sachets were on the plate. Big choice of sandwiches, salads and jacket potatoes and a few cakes. Interestingly special afternoon teas with little sandwiches and cakes are offered with 48 hours notice. The place was spotless and obviously much used by the Horndean residents. My bill was £8.10 and other than the coffee being a bit weak I cannot fault the place. On a warm day there is even an outside seated area but not on use on a cold December day 7 deg. C!!!

I took my son and wife for a spot of lunch, nice selection of food and hot / cold drinks, the weather outside was awful, but sitting inside in the warm was great and the food and drinks quality was good, the staff were friendly and helpful,

A friend and I was passing by & this cafe caught our eye, we were greeted by friendly staff who quickly accommodated us with having 2 prams, delicious food, well presented, great value for money!! Highly recommended 😁

This restaurant is an ideal venue for arranging a meet-up. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The food and drinks are first class.

Situated in Horndean opposite the Premier Inn, it offers an alternate place to go for coffee, cakes and snacks. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Great food, amazing friendly staff. Huge plates of food also well presented. Priced very competitive against other places I have eaten. Also staff happy to let you tweak the menu to suit as well.

Nice little cafe to stop at. Good choice of Gluten free cakes too. A good choice of light bites for lunch.

A group of us (10) took a friend for a birthday tea. Very attentive staff who kept us topped up with tea, coffee and cold water (it was extremely hot on the day) Nicely presented sandwiches, large fresh scones with jam and clotted cream. We left feeling well fed and well looked after.

Visited with a friend as she loves an ‘old school’ coffee shop. Older gentleman serving didn’t crack a smile or say a thank you.. that said, the younger guys were friendly and smiley.

I have visited here around 4 times in the past year in the hope that each time the older chap serving will crack a smile but unfortunately I was wrong!

Lovely food, really good value with amazing customer service, the prawn jacket was amazing. Definitely recommend it and I can’t wait to go back.

Walked in for coffee to an empty restaurant. Was told that most tables were reserved.

I am a big supporter of small businesses and I’m happy to pay the extra to go to them, but this was poor. The old bloke behind the till was rude quite frankly. He didn’t crack a smile once, made me feel an idiot for daring to ask if I could have beans on my jacket potato and couldn’t have been more unwelcoming if he tried. I genuinely felt like he didn’t want me there. And the food wasn’t good either. Cheap rubbery cheese and an insanely dry spud. Regrettably, we won’t be returning.

Really lovely cafe with friendly staff but I thought the strength of the coffee in my Americano was really weak. I’m not a coffee connoisseur but I don’t expect to have to ask/pay for an extra shot in order for it to taste like a coffee. Lemon drizzle was delicious though!

Near the Premier Inn useful if you want a quick coffee or snack. Friendly staff, small and personal a change from the large chains.

Oh So's Coffee Shop is so well decorated, the feeling of warmth and comfort is immediate on entering. Once seated it then becomes a treat for your eyes as they explore your surroundings. Spotlessly clean and impeccably designed - this Coffee Shop is a treat and after a Coffee, why not pop next door and explore the treasure in "Shambles" next door! The Staff in Oh So's were extremely polite and the prices very competitive. You will not be disappointed!

Came here today with a few friends we parked up the road by the shops and walked down. We were greeted upon entry by 2 members of staff. We sat down and ordered 3 coffees. We felt peckish so asked for a food menu and 2 of us decided to order a chicken , cheese bacon and mayo toastie. We both enjoyed our food and we all enjoyed our coffee. Lovely atmosphere and had nice chat to members of staff. We will be back for sure

Have been throughout 2018, for panini etc, but now they have extended their menu to include great home made soup, all generous in size together with other delights. Friendly staff, always made to feel welcome. So nice to have a local cafe to pop into.

Booked High Tea, very disappointed, sandwiches were good, however the cakes and the scones came out of a packet....... And then it cost a packet £40 would have been more than sufficient but £60 for packet cakes was a bit steep .... on a positive note the staff were lovely, however would probably not go back!

This is my 4th time going there and has always been quite pleasant but I’m afraid today was awful. The man serving us was extremely rude and not very helpful. I will not be going back there any time soon

Visited Oh So’s whilst my car was in the garage. All were welcoming and friendly. I ordered a toasted sandwich with a side salad - we all know what these look like! Now I have visited a few coffee shops in my time but have never been served something so well presented. As far as toasted sandwiches go, this was by far the best one I had ever had. Hats off to the young man that made it

A second year of celebrating St Andrew's Day with a group of friends, and once more Oh So's did us proud, right down to the tartan tablecloth. As always a good selection of sandwiches and cakes, tea or coffee all nicely served in their lovely china. An added bonus the fact that Oh so's is situated on the main 15 minute bus service to Portsmouth makes it so easy for travelling to get there

We've been going since it began. This little place has got everything you would want. Lovely friendly staff, comfortable chairs, nice ambience, pleasant surroundings, nearby parking, and most importantly fabulous food and drinks menu, that isn't expensive. Great value allround. Oh So's appears to be going from strength to stength. We look forward to our next visit, which will be in a couple of weeks time i guess. :) Well done all, keep up the fabulous work. In our eyes its a huge success!

I met a friend for a light lunch and was very impressed with my toasted sandwich and coffee. The sandwich came with a bowl of crisps and generous side salad. I think this nice local café is going to become our regular meeting place.

This place is so nice, the staff cannot do enough for you. They do every type of drink from decaf, soya, lactose free, etc. The food and cakes are delicious.

This is such a great place. Very welcoming, nice people and delicious cake (plus a great cuppa which is not always easy to find). Perfect place for a catch up with a friend, and good value too.

Been wanting to come here for a while, the time just hadn’t been right till today. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff who were chatty and very attentive.

Me and a friend thought we would grab a coffee as I had been here a few times before and think it's always good . We had 2 lattes and a carrot cake and lemon cake . My lemon cake was so good I can't wait to have another one soon . Thanks guys always spot on here .

Quite a change from the chains, table service, food and coffee served to the table. Once an old post office and still has local pictures and artefacts. A character place. Opening hours are a little short so don't expect to go late, it's a daytime place. Recommended

Nice little cafe in horndean serving a range of sandwiches as well as a range of drinks. I reccommend the hot chocolate and the chicken and bacon panini.

At school holiday times, I come to visit my grandchildren (now aged 10, 7, 5 and 5) and we catch the bus from Clanfield to Horndean to visit OhSo's for hot chocolate and cake. The staff are very welcoming to children and are patient while they choose their cakes. The toilet is very accessible. Prices are very reasonable.

One of the best cafés I have visited in a long while. Excellent menu choice with friendly table service. Ideally located in the centre of Horndean with easy parking close by.

This is a delightful restaurant / coffee shop. Run by the owning family it offers friendly service, grate coffee and delicious light lunch and fresh cakes.

Come here with a few friends after the gym for a catch up . Lovely atmosphere and the coffees are tasty. Make sure you try there cakes and cookies there very nice aswell. Will visit again .

Lovely staff. But my toasted sandwich was about £6, which I think is a bit crazy. We had 2 toasted sandwichs', a coffee, a tea, and two cakes and it came to £20 something.

This is the fourth time we have used this family cafe and have always found the staff to be very welcoming. The food is prepared fresh while you enjoy a very nice tasting coffee. The food is nicely presented and also reasonably priced. They always give a crispy side salad and crisps with a sandwich or toasty which is more than some nearby cafe’s do. The size and taste of the coffee also betters nearby cafe’s.

Always a warm and friendly welcome excellent service very reasonable prices and a nice environment and a great selection of cakes and sandwiches would definitely recommend

Lovely staff here each time I've visited and such a wonderful atmosphere in here, the choice is excellent on the menu and they even do take away, tea in a proper china cup and hot chocolate in a large mug it's wonderful.

Recently visited with a friend for a light lunch. Very pleasant environment and friendly welcome from staff. Both had a Panini which was very nice, served with crisps and a generous salad. Also had cake which was delicious.

I recently visited Oh So’s with my daughter. I explained that I was gluten free and it was no problem at all. I felt just like everyone else. The food was delicious and even so the best cup of tea is perfect from a nice china cup and saucer!! Thank you to the helpful staff and lovely chilling environment from one happy customer

This is how a small cafe should be. Not a chain...run by locals who understand what good service is. We popped in for a cup of tea and a slice of cake. The tea was served in a China tea pot and cup and the coffee was very good. Nice selection of cakes but we only had one slice each! Prices very reasonable and service efficient but unobtrusive. Forget the chains...visit a proper local!

It is a pleasure to visit this coffee shop, it offers lovely eats, super coffee and tea and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. Nice and clean and lovely proper cups and saucers.

Have visited a few times both with family including children and friends for lunch . Each time it has been a lovely experience and would recommend. Only problem is finding a good place to park .

Met a friend for lunch last week for the first time at Oh So. The interior was comfortable and the staff very friendly. We had tuna salad which had tons of salad - almost too much - for a very reasonable price. Felt very relaxed and we would definitely go again.

Went in for lunch, restaurant was baking hot so sat outside. Waited 45 mins for our order to arrive- when it did portion was large but unfortunately it was wrong. When the lady behind the counter was approached she was rude and unhelpful and wouldn't take any responsibility for the order being wrong! Did not receive and apology just barked at by her! Besides the panini having the wrong filling it was dripping in grease and not very appetising! Will not be returning which is a shame as the cakes looked nice!

5 of us went for lunch and we're eyeing up the spread of cakes!

Recently a couple of friends and I went there for lunch. The service from start to finish was slow. The staff looked very unkempt not professional. The food was good but the lettuce was off putting as it had brown edges. It is very clean through out food good just the presentation of all the staff and service left a lot to be desired.

We went to Oh So's for high tea to celebrate my friend Geraldine's birthday, it was superb !! The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and the high tea was great, certainly plenty of it, in fact all the food that was served while we were there looked lovely. I shall certainly be going back again and will definitely recommend to others !!!

Had a lovely coffee and cake with a friend. It was a good helping of chocolate cake (certainly no small measures here). Lovely atmosphere. Staff were warm and friendly and the place spotlessly clean. Great place to meet up.

I love the paninis here and you get a side salad and crisps which are beautifully presented and tastes lovely! It's a lovely place to eat if you're going just as couples or meeting a friend for lunch, but gets expensive taking all the family! For lunch and drinks for a family of 4, budget between £25-30. Having said that, they will halve a plate between two people or children though without paying any more so it's great if you fancy a lighter bite with a friend or have two young children with you. Teenagers require an adult size I've recently found out!!

Yes, lovely venue, on the little square in Horndean, for a cup of tea, coffee, a bite to eat. The staff is most friendly an the atmosphere most charming, most continental. The cakes, all freshly made, are delicious. The sandwiches, salads are very good, freshly prepared and copious. Plenty of parking facilities nearby, which is a bonus.

Bought my mum a voucher for afternoon tea, can't speak highly enough , sandwiches were very fresh and dainty, scones and cakes were also very fresh and yummy. Nothing was too much trouble, have eaten here a few times and have not been disappointed.

Chris, Jo and Jack always give you a warm welcome. The food is freshly made and always plenty of it. My friend had a toasted sandwich and I had a sandwich on seeded bread. They came with lots of salad garnish and crisps. I have visited lots of times and the service and food are always consistent.

Visited with my Mum and my 17 month old son yesterday for a post-Mother's Day lunch. Both had the prawn sandwich which was packed with prawns and came with a huge side salad and large helping of crisps, and both had a slice of cake each. Very impressed with quality of food, the very reasonable price & with the staff's patience & treatment of my little boy, they even sent him away with 2 free biscotti's which he loves. I Usually take Mum to Stansted House for special occasions but will be visiting here instead from now on! Thanks again for a lovely experience.

I don't often go anywhere with both my little ones on my own but I decided to try out oh so as we fancied some cake. The family who run the cafe were so lovely and couldn't have done more to help. They made sure to get me highchairs and help put the little ones in. One the sons also gave my 2 year old a rose which she was very chuffed with and took home to show her daddy. The cake was delicious! And my little girl thought so too! I highly recommend this cafe with their warm friendly welcome making it a relaxing trip out with a toddler and baby �

My second visit to Oh So and I can thoroughly recommend it. They wisely keep the menu small but readily adapt on request, and everything is beautifully presented - right down to the vintage tea service! You won't go away hungry and it's very good value. The staff are so friendly and helpful too, always a real bonus.

Five of us went for high tea to celebrate a birthday. Table had been reserved, happy birthday banners and balloons had been put up. Table decorated with confetti. The staff were friendly and exceedingly helpful. Plates of sandwichs, cakes and scones along with drinks arrived quickly. Beautifully laid out. We were able to fill up with more cake etc if we wanted, but found there was more than enough to go around. Doggy bags were given so we could take leftovers home. Ended up being the only people left. There was no pressure to finish and leave, even after closing. Staff informed us we could stay for as long as we wanted. They kindly took photos of our party for us. All in all a lovely afternoon. Does fill up very quickly and you do need to book up for Thursday to Saturday. There is outside seating available but only in summer.

Popped in to oh so today with my daughter for a ladies lunchtime treat .

We got two teas and slice of choc brownie for £3. Costa would have costa me £7.70 or more!! Clean, nice, friendly. A great find.

I called in here yesterday for a hot chocolate , and ended up trying a delicious slab of cranberry and white chocolate tiffin as well. Beautifully presented on vintage china . The cafe was busy with a variety of customers of all ages , and I was made to feel welcome as a solo.

A sweet little place for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea and cake.

Joined friends for lunch / afternoon tea we had really nice food, nice atmosphere would recommend will go back again.

I visited before Christmas and received a very warm welcome. Lunch was delicious, albeit expensive, though this is often typical of cafes. The staff are what makes this place special, apparently it is a family business, and I will definitely be back in the future.

My daughter wanted to try cake at Oh SO after her grandmother raved about it. We finally managed to get their in time from Fareham and find it open. It's a beautiful, glitzy interior, with the must welcoming feeling. My daughter and I loved it. Great moist cakes, and amazing hot chocolate. So in the words of a 5 year 'the best treat i can think of, is to come to Oh SO'. As I'm on a New Years diet.....is my treat too and I will make the journey from Fareham. Well done Oh SO, a taste of the true tradional tea shops, with just a hint of modern glamour .

Finally managed to visit this little gem in the heart of Horndean after driving past many times!

Very good service,very good meal, family run cafe, had my grandchildren with me and they were treated great (4 years old).Nothing was to hard for them.
