'oh' My Cod in Shropshire

Teatime. Best Fish and Chip shop in Oswestry area. Chips are well cooked, no hard raw bits of potato inside, lovely clean peeled potatoes, lovely fish, kebab meats, curry sauce, etc. Friendly welcoming staff and excellent service. Wouldn't go anywhere else and we live in MORDA. *****

I ordered Cod and chips, loads of chips but Cod wasn’t Cod, really wrong and not at all acceptable in my opinion Once and never going again

Had a family meal deal it was amazing best valve you for money by far food is excellent staff are awesome what a great run take away I can not recommend the team high enough the BEST by far enough food to feed 8 people easily

Consistently good quality food. Kebabs are great with a choice of home made nan breads. Chips are always fresh and tasty. fish is always succulent with crispy batter. Never have to wait long even when busy. Friendly and efficient staff.

Dropped by on way back from holiday noticing the great reviews on other review sites...had pretty well perfect fish and chips- huge haddock and light lacey batter, generous crisp chips, provided with free lemon and tartare sauce (nice touch) and very reasonable price. Its an unassuming chippy on a housing estate and actually worth a detour. I'm amazed that no one has listed it before- the staff are confident they are the best in Oswestry and I can well believe it (and I've eaten a LOT of fish and chips !)
