Oh Boy in Wandsworth

Pedido en solo comer. La carne a la vista parecía vieja y dura, y al gusto estaba seca y masticable. Tan duro! Escupido. Las supuestas alitas de pollo estaban marchitas y secas y parecían más grillos. El pollo en la comida principal parecía hervido. Sin sabor Todo fue tirado pero me quitó las ganas de comer por el resto de la noche.

Normalmente soy muy bueno con la comida picante, pero este lugar agregó un desafío a mis papilas gustativas y fue muy divertido. Planeo venir aquí nuevamente con mi esposa y un par de mis amigos en el futuro

La primera vez que comí carne en 13 años, pollo en un curry vegetariano. ¡Si no puede estar seguro de a quiénes están sirviendo, no debería estar en este negocio! ! Me devolvieron el curry, pero la mía y todas las comidas de mis amigos se arruinaron, no es suficiente. ¿Qué pasaría si fueran nueces y yo tuviera alergia a las nueces? ! ¡Podrías matar a alguien! Su comida podría estar bien, pero para todos los que tengan alergias o dietas. Requisitos, por favor, evite este lugar. En mi opinión, si no sabe a qué atenía su servicio, debería cerrarse.

Mi amigo y yo tuvimos el entrante de 12 piezas y el satay vegetariano. El entrante no era comestible, venía con aros de cebolla, zanahorias fritas y grasosas. El satay vegetariano era crotones fritos y no salsa satay.

Fui la semana pasada con amigos y tuve una gran cena. Cordero especial es precioso y el pad thai eran excelentes. Gracias a ustedes dos por un servicio excelente y atento también.

Today is my wife’s birthday and we decided to get a Thai takeaway from oh boy. I wish we didn’t, £60 down the drain plus I drove there, green chicken curry dreadful, stir fried duck and beef massaman all was microwaved and watery. The beef in the massaman was thin sliced and stone cold while the 2 potatoes inside we’re burning hot, pad tai was gluey and sticky with 3 measly anaemic shrimps no tiger prawns. Fish cakes more like rubber with out of date sweet chilli sauce . This nowhere near Thai food, this is very very close to garbage. Never again

I have eaten here for many years on and off and will say my take away today was terrible. The pad Thai was very dark and sticky as if it was a bulk made reheat, the fish cakes were greasy and soggy, the the squid was so tough that I could not even bite into it. There always used to be prawn crackers with the delivery but not today. It was very quickly delivered which make me think it was definitely not cooked fresh. Will not order from there again.

One of our favourite local eating houses. Authentic Thai food, good service and reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommended.

I went here with my partner, daughter and grandson, and found it on the tastecard app. It was about 7pm on a Sunday evening, and the place was empty, then one other couple came in, we ordered a satay chicken, duck rolls and prawn satay, the prawns looked raw, but tasted ok, and the duck rolls were a bit hard. We all ordered chicken Penang curry and coconut rice, which was very nice but slightly overcooked, but as we had the tastecard, it was pretty good value, so can't complain too much, it was ok but not great!

My wife and I ordered a take away from Oh Boy last week. We both came down with food poisoning later that evening. A really horrible experience that I would not wish to repeat.

Incredible thai food, we enjoyed it that much that we have been back many times. Excellent, friendly service. Highly recommended

Best Thai food in South West London. The take away is just as good as if you eat in. We visit probably far too often but why not, they are always excellent

came here late one evening but managed to be seated, great starters and lovely pad thai, lovely little place

Amazing! Great food and very friendly staff in a lovely quiet and relaxed restaurant. The prices are good too. Personal favourite, Green Chicken Curry. The brown crackers and chilli sauce is a delicious nibble. Take Aways are also as good as eating in.

Ordered via just eat. Very disappointed with my food. Gave message to restaurant to substitute prawn for chicken and they didn't bother. Tasteless colourless pad Thai. Husband's food was bland as well. Not sure we'll use them again.

Fue un día especial y nuestra comida en Madre mía terminó saliendo muy bien. El servicio es bueno y pudimos tomar nuestro tiempo seleccionando el menú grande. Él tenía un langostino rojo y verde tenía un pollo curry tailandés, que eran encantadores, aunque el rojo era el mejor. Hemos estado antes y sabíamos que íbamos a tener una buena comida, pero ahora hay gente nueva que maneja el restaurante y es tan bueno como antes.

Service and food is what makes this place great absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a try, We had a lovely evening, Even the house red was great. Will definitely be our new local

Visited London for the weekend and enjoyed a very nice Thai meal at Oh Boy. Will definitely return when am next in London.

Friendly staff and gorgeous food! They always cater for my vegan options. The owners are lovely and so friendly. Food is always fresh and healthy. I go there so often now when I don't want to cook :)

Dinner here with my girlfriend, we were delighted by the great service and the amazingly tasty thai food. The meat in Crying Tiger was cooked superbly and Goong Somm was delicious. Thanks! We will definitely come back!

I visit here often and the staff was fantastic.. the food is amazing, this is not a ordinary thai you find everywhere in london this serves authentic home made thai food always cook from fresh no Msg clean & lovely. I am sure this will be the best you ever taste in south west london .. second to non

Tiny place! They squeezed us in for a late night Friday dinner. Quick service and a very extensive menu. Food was fab - meat delicious. All in all a great little local restaurant. Will be back again.

We had a takeaway from here after reading great reviews. The Tom Kha soup was the only bad dish, a layer of fat floated on top...it was not flavourful at all- a shame. However, all the other dishes were lovely. We will definitely try it again, no soup though.

I have been going to this delightful restaurant for quite a few years and am always happy. The food is wonderful, the service delightful and they always remember my favourite dish and that I like it with more sauce than usual. Can't be faulted there are more prominent restaurants in London where the food is less good and their prices are higher. This is a south London gem.

Went here last weekend for a change of scenery. I have to admit the food was great, very tasty but I felt the atmosphere really let this place down. The restaurant is more cafe style & there is no Thai feel there. The service wasn't great either and I felt they didn't explain to us properly. We order the Thai platter for two (it says 2people minimum on the menu) the waitress asked if we wanted one or two platters, hmm clearly one to share so what we got was one of everything rather than two.

I visited this restaurant with my flatmates and we were very pleased by the food and the setting. The service was quick and the food arrived shortly after we ordered it. In the time between sitting down and receiving our food we were given prawn crackers as snacks. There was a huge array of food on offer in the menu and lots of vegetarian options for my vegetarian friend. When the food arrived it was presented well and smelt delicious. Each dish had carved vegetables as garnish. The food was very tasty and not full of MSG as you sometimes get. Overall a nice restaurant and decent food. The only minor point was that there was lots of prawn cracker crumbs in the menu from the previous user but that is only a very minor point. I spent about £20 on my meal which included: beer, diet coke, duck rolls, beef in black bean sauce. I would say a fairly reasonable price and lots of options if you wanted to spend more or less.

excellent thai food, run by mother & daughter (unless its new management) prawn stir fry is excellent, have been many times, staff are so friendly and service is excellent, tofu satay is highly recommended.

Ordered a seafood dish to be delivered and got a lamb dish. When I telephoned and asked for the seafood dish to be delivered they were extremely rude and hung up on me! They called me a 'charity'! VERY POOR SERVICE!

Me and my husband ate here last night. Wonderful food, really full flavour. The talapia fish was cooked to perfection, and the sweet basil vegetarian set meal was delicious and beautifully presented: even the side salads were tasty. Friendly service and not a bad price for the very high standards of the food!

Got dumped about 3 minutes after we ordered the starter so whatever I ate was going to leave a bitter taste in my mouth

5 of us went for a birthday meal. We ordered a selection of dishes between us & shared. Great thai, particularly recommend the duck dishes. Two people in our group had birthdays, so they shared a birthday special pudding. Lots of ice cream, but nice ice cream at that!

When I'm making one of my frequent trips to London I'm always keen to have some food from here whether it's takeaway or seated In their pretty little restaurant. Flavours are always perfect, and quantity is just right. Just wish it was a bit closer to home - I would be there a couple of nights a week!

Only recently started to use this restaurant after getting back from Bangkok and missing the food.Its a great take away restaurant, I have never eaten in so cannot comment on the restaurant experience.When I call I almost always get straight through, the telephone is always answered with a friendly approach and they never rush the order process.Better than that I think the last couple of times I have ordered the delivery is less than 15 minutes!If there is 1 drawback, it seems that the protein in the dishes (usually chicken for me) is getting than it has been. Of course it would be nice to have more but keeping a local favourite profitable and open is the compromise.

Lovely food from here. Tasty and good portions. Telephoned order and it was ready in 15 minutes. Good value and a 15% discount for take away if collected.

Wanted to go out for a dinner where I could guarantee good food and attentive service. Oh Boy ticked the boxes, love it. Good luck to the new owners.

So this local has new owners after many years. We have had many great meals here over the years and the new people have a lot to live up to. They were very nice on our visit last week and the chef is the same as before so hope hope good things to come from them. We will go again soon to give them time to bed in and if there have improved on what was there before.

We have been meaning to try the Oh Boy for about a year and finally got round to it last week. It really is an excellent restaurant and we are lucky to have it so close by. The staff are very friendly and helpful when navigating through what is quite a big menu. The quality of the food was high, we shared the mixed platter to begin which was tasty - particularly the thai fish cakes for me - I then had a chicken stir fry dish and my boyfriend went for one of the seafood curries. Both were excellent. I was excited to learn they also do takeaway so will be making use of that soon too I'm sure! Will definitely return.

Went on the recommendation of a friend and have now been visiting almost weekly for the last 8 months. A Thai restaurant that serves Quack quack rolls... Crispy duck and pancakes is truly the holy grail. I have yet to be disappointed by any dish. Consistently good in every respect. I understand they were one of the first Thai restaurants in London. Still going strong!

Having lived in Earlsfield for about 6 years we have always stayed loyal to Amaranth, but needing a hearty meal on a Sunday eve we found the closed so, having heard good things gave oh boy a try and have now been back a couple of times.We found very fast service for our takeaways, very good starters; really nice dim sum style pork baskets and some other treats - does beat Amaranth on the starter front. Their curries were also excellent: we had yellow curry with lamb and a chicken massaman - the lamb was superb, the massaman not quite as good as Amaranth.Special rices and noodle dishes were good, also a fisherman's special. look forward to trying more dishes from the menu!

Nice thai food, very cute restaurant. I've only ever gotten takeaway from there and it's always been very good and reasonably priced.

Ordered a take away from Oh Boy tonight and it was excellent from start to finish. The telephone service was fast and efficient, our food arrived within 20 minutes, (despite being asked to allow 45 mins which we were willing to do at 8pm on a Saturday!), and the food was delicious. Will be putting Oh Boy at the top of our list from now on!

Found Oh Boy online and realised it wasn't that far away from where we live so ventured to try it out. Restaurant is clean, modern, warm and welcoming. Friendly Thai staff were attentive but not fussing which was lovely. Food was beautifully presented and tasty.Restaurant was busy ish but not crowded. They also do a take away option but the restaurant is lovely so give it a try.Little gem which will be tried again!Definitely Recommended

I've been here a few times, although it isn't grouped with many other restaurants it's well worth a visit. The food is the best thai food I have ever had and the service is excellent. A definite must for lovers of thai cuisine.

Had food here twice recently and loved it both times. Very small restaurant ( 25 covers?) but a very personal feel and friendly service. Warm atmosphere and good food. Highly recommended

Went to Oh Boy again recently and realised I'd not reviewed it - it's just brilliant. I've been going for years, despite living 6.5 miles away, and the food is consistently excellent. I've never had a bad dish. The only time I've ever been disappointed was because they ran out of Thai custard which I love! Had to try a different dessert... which was also yummy!!They also do a really good range of veggie dishes, which is great as my husband is vegan. The staff are always lovely and prices are reasonable - about £20 a head.I can't recommend it highly enough.

Tried so many thai resto in london ,and this place comes close to what i have had in bangkok.Had the soup wich had a generous serving of prawns,sticky rice,duck salad,stirfried seafood and mussaman curry.All dishes had fresh and vibrant flavours ,but most impressive was the 5***** service! so glad to have found this place and can't wait to return and try the other dishes on the menu.

We had a lovely time at Oh Boy. We both had the set menu which was great value. Both the mussaman curry and the cashew king prawns were extremely tasty and a delight to eat, worth coming to this restaurant purely for them. The starters were less exciting but still enjoyable. The service was really friendly and helpful. Our only slight disappointment was in the wine (we had the Malbec) which didn't quite deliver the flavour we are used to. We will definitely be going back.

We live just around the corner and consider this our local take-away of choice. Excellent food, lovely staff, calm atmosphere and 10% off take-aways over £20. Highly recommend!

I have been eating at Oh Boy for many years now and have always found it consistently excellent, bot in terms of food quality and service.The menu is full of tempting dishes and every meal is freshly made and tastes like it!Their Thai Custard is the best pudding in London!Staff are always friendly and attentive. Owners are great and make you feel very welcome at every visit.

Oh Boy is a small restaurant with about 6 tables in the front seating area and maybe about the same number in the back. However, I have only ever been placed in the front section and this is also the nicer one. The decor is nice. A bright room, fusing modern art with a thai touch, with polished dark wood.The food is just great. Very tasty and fresh. As usual in thai cuisine, you will need a starter and a main course, or a main course ans side dishes as the main courses are rather small. This will be reflected in the bill, making Oh Boy not the cheapest Thai place in the area, but it is for sure the best.

This is a really lovely restaurant, food is good eat in or takeaway and very reasonable. I ate a three course meal there for two for under £40. The decor is a bit different from what I expected but the atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff are attentive. A really great all round restaurant.
