This is such a hidden gem in Leigh. Whether we eat in, Take away or order delivery, the food never disappoints. The taste & freshness is hard to beat.

Our first but definitely not our last visit to Off Broadway. A fabulous meal for our wedding anniversary. Superb jerk chicken for me and beautiful salmon for my wife. A great atmosphere, really buzzing, and excellent service. All the credit goes to chef Gavin and his wife Anna. If you haven't already give them a try, you'll want to come back for more. Thank you for a great evening.

Absolutely fantastic meal! The grilled squid was perfect! Look forward to going back with more friends. The bonus being you can take your own drinks. 😊 I’d also say the atmosphere was really good. It’s a real family run restaurant and the whole meal was just fab. Happily recommend 😊😊

In the absence of O'Picados since the fire, I've been seeking a local venue for Portuguese food where Fish and Meat were the focus. Enter 'Off Broadway'. Off the beaten track, word of mouth is certainly needed to know about the venue. The parking isn't great in the area, but it's a short walk from the main shopping/eating area. Off Broadway is a BYOB location, and they don't charge corkage which is great. I originally communicated with them and asked if they were Dog Friendly, and they are! Which is brilliant! In the end we didn't end up taking the pups but this is really great to know. Food was lovely- we shared a cheese and olive platter, then shared a meat selection and a giant snow crab for our mains. We were stuffed so did not have room for dessert, but they have a lovely dessert cabinet just like O'Picados did too. We would return in the future. Thanks for a lovely evening!

Had a wonderful evening at this gem of a restaurant. Delicious food, great vibe and byo drinks and a piri piri sauce that is so tasty and interesting it's a must try.

Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The restaurant offer a great range of seafood for those seafood lovers! Overall the food was 10/10. The service was amazing, everyone was so lovely and welcoming. They occasionally show football and films in the back with sheesha. It’s also dog friendly too!

What a lovely little gem this is - we went with family to celebrate my sons birthday (he had been before and said it was the best steak he had ever had!) and the food was glorious, great service and nothing was too much trouble - great family team with a chef who is clearly is inspired by the food of Portugal and puts his own twist on it - quirky decor and not at all plush but who needs plush with food as good this! Thank you - we will def be back ❤️

First time there, small cafe run by a husband and wife team. Portuguese -brazillian type food. Chilled atmosphere. Starter of clams and calamari was fresh and tasty. The tuna steak wife had was simply cooked, fresh and tasty. My steak was succulent and tasty. The rotisserie chicken was also very tasty. Food was very good, simply done to perfection, which is missing these days. BOYB. Will definitely go there again. Support your neighbour cafe!

Food was delicious but it would be better to order in advance as they cook from fresh and although worth it, wait was an hour before it was served. You can sit outside or inside. Love the decor! Staff were Great 👍. Will definitely go there again 😃.

Just had my wife's 50th birthday party here and it couldn't have been better. The people are so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond! The food is amazing, I could have ordered everything off the menu. Lovely atmosphere, it's like walking into a little bit of Portugul. Will definitely return.

We went to Off Broadway after being invited by our friends for a couples night out. This little hidden away gem transports you out of the side streets of Leigh, and into a little part of Portugal. We were sat in the outside area, but it felt very much warm and watertight and like being inside. The menu had some great choices, but in the end I chose one of the specials (mutton curry) as my friend chose it too, and I got Fomo, despite fancying the ribs! It was exceptional, everyone at the table enjoyed their food. Can’t remember the name of the dessert, but it was this light fluffy whipped egg thing in a sweet sticky sauce, again, brilliant. Another perk of this restaurant was that it was a BYO with no corkage, so you didn’t mind spending a bit more on what was quality food. At the end if the meal, the owner/chef came and had a chat with us, lovely warm and inviting guy - we will for sure be back - mainly because I still need to try the ribs!

Well - Off Broadway is certainly different. Tiny inside but fabulous portugese/med food. Lovely people too. Unfortunately they hadn't received their delivery of chicken and I'd been fancying the rotisserie chkn all day. But. OMG! Best dry pork ribs I've ever had. A real little gem of a find 😊xx

Friendly, attentive staff, GREAT food, and a great atmosphere!

What a find! Stopped here to get a coffee and saw the food menu so returned the next day and had a Sunday roast. Food was amazing. Will return very soon to try a seafood dish. Menu is different from anywhere else nearby. Excited that this restaurant is here in Leigh-on-Sea.

We ate in the restaurant and all three of us had the gorgeous rotisserie chicken. Perfectly tasty, perfectly moist - and exceedingly good value too! All starters, sides and deserts were great too. And BYOB meant that it didn't cost the Earth. We will return again (and again and again)

Sat undercover outside, was a bit wet in places, chairs damp, food very good. Service okay but could have been better, no servites on tables. Not offered desert. Expensive considering surroundings

This really is a hidden gem. Gavin’s passion for providing the highest quality food shines through. From the wide selection of meats through to the mouthwatering seafood and specials, you really can’t go wrong and if you have room at the end, the desserts are amazing! The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is spot on. Can’t wait to go back.

Delightfully fine food, fish, sticky meats and tender moist chicken all under one roof or an illuminated boat sale if you dine outside. If you're a full on carnivore you won't go home disappointed however vegetarian dishes are available and I'm sure they're delicious too 🤔😆

Ordered our first take away from here, was seriously impressed. We ordered the meat platter, clams, anchovies, everything was delicious! We even got a surprise desert, not sure what it was but it was delightful. Highly, highly recommend!!

Wrong drink delivered, tiny salad and chicken juices dripping out of packaging, poor all round really. Shame as like most people you want to support local business but afraid I wouldn’t go back.

What a great place, what’s not to like from steak to chicken and fresh fish. The chips are to die for.. lovely atmosphere and the occasional live music from local artists.

Popped into this little gem of a cafe just off the broadway. What a find! Had the most amazing piri piri chicken, slaw, chips and salad. Nice relaxed vibe, our 4 year old loved it. Something for everyone. Definitely recommend. We’ll most certainly be back.
