Dear Odeon we are still coming here because we don’t have any other choices available around. I have been watching movies from 5 year old and watched movies from different countries, but this is the worst experience of movies i ever had in my life . The audio system using should be an old classic one or the provider is cheating you . Please at least install a Bose SoundLink Revolve+ II Bluetooth Speaker or provide a headphone to make the dialogues audible. Next time will bring a torch light to see whats happening on the screen .the screen is really dark. Hope you are not paying extra to the provider for making it bit brighter The food counter, they are not able to manage the crowd , should give some more training. They are not competent to serve food with in the interval break time . Hope the manager is least bothered about all these things. Th only positive is the QR code scanning staffs . It’s our fate that still we need to depend you for watching movies. 🤕🤕🤕😢😭😭

Unfortunately, my experience at the Odeon Preston was nothing short of disappointing. Right from the moment I walked in, the ambience was off. The atmosphere felt cold and lifeless, with no real sense of comfort or charm. It’s hard to believe this is a modern cinema, as everything felt outdated and lacking any real appeal. The screen size is surprisingly small, especially for a cinema that charges what it does.Speaking of those premium seats, they were uncomfortable at best. The ticket prices are far too high for what you get. Considering the poor service and lack of decent amenities, it's hard to justify the cost To top it all off, the sound quality was dreadful, that completely ruined the movie’s impact. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this cinema to anyone. There are far better options around for a more enjoyable and immersive movie experience.

I’m a wheelchair user and I am hard of hearing, and every single time I go to this cinema they are always ready to help me. Staff are lovely and so nice. I don’t go to the cinema often, and this was my first time going since my hearing got noticeably bad. As soon as I showed my ticket one of the staff noticed I had a hard of hearing badge and offered me something that would feed the audio directly to these headphones they gave me. It was awesome, I loved it. It really settled my nerves about going. All of the screens are wheelchair accessible which is amazing, all have ramps. I love that because then I don’t have to stay in my wheelchair, I can just park up next to a seat and transfer into the seat (I am ambulatory) This is the best cinema I’ve ever been to and I would recommend it to anyone, I cannot stress that enough.

The lobby and Costa have been kept up to date, the screens and seating themselves have not for some time. Took my family to watch a movie this evening for half term In screen 10 the seats we booked had been worn down to the sponge underneath the cover and the place stunk like wet dog. I don't like dishing out bad reviews but it was a really poor experience all round. There are two newer cinemas in Preston, we will be going there next time.

This cinema is nostalgic for me, I have a lot of good memories here but unfortunately it has gone very downhill. A lot of things need upgrading which is why I tend to choose Vue over odeon even though this cinema is closer. It doesn’t need much but they seriously need to invest some money into it. The seats are itchy & peeling apart, it is not the comfortable relaxing experience you want when visiting the cinema.

Wouldn’t even give the place 1 star tbh , it’s shocking how much this place has gone down hill. If anyone’s planning on going too ODEON Cinemas in Preston with there kids I wouldn’t bother! Took my kids and because they was talking at the beginning of the film while the adverts where on because they was bored we got a complaint ( watching a KIDS film ) with only 2 people in there , so then I apologised and explained my youngest is only 4 and he’s never been too the cinemas before, anyway then they had a man with an ODEON badge on sat behind us ( at this point the kids where actually watching the film ) NEVER in my life have I ever felt that uncomfortable so I got the kids and we went and they was watching us all as we walked out , paid 27 pound for half an hour of a film we couldn’t even enjoy watching because we was being watched 😂 called up ODEON and reported the situation and they have refunded the money back, but it’s not even the point they made me and my kids feel so uncomfortable what a horrible place !!!!

My daughter was 3 days too young to watch the film which was fine, and we were not aloud to watch the film. I accepted this and was fine, I went to get my refund from a young man behind the counter and he was not very understanding and was very antognising, when his manger came out from behind she was defending his attitude, she eventually agreed to the refund and was being very professional, however the young man then came over to the manager and stood right behind the manager and was smirking at the situation, her manager asked him to go in the back and he refused and was not going away, I could not believe what was going on, I was getting more and more upset and this young man would not go away and had something to say at every point, Someone should spend some time with this young man around customer experience and the manager could also do with some training around how to manage her staff, this young man is out of control and needs additional training before you loose more customers in the future, I will not be going to Odeon again and will rather go to Vue where I will get better customer service.

The only positive aspect was the price. However, there are several issues. Firstly, some screens are not centered in the hall, so if you accidentally sit on the side, you'll be facing a wall. Additionally, they sometimes don't fully open the curtains, and the sound system is of poor quality. But I still love Odeon, Preston as I could watch all the Malayalam movies in theatres 🫰.

Today (16/8/24) the screen curtains wouldn't open all the way and there was about 2 feet of screen missing per side, however the manager was very apologetic and swapped me into another showing. The lady checking tickets was very friendly and helpful. Yesterday the screening started 20 minutes late, without explanation or apology, but the bonus was that when the show did finally start it went straight to the trailers and thus I didn't have to watch any annoying advertising! Wow this place is busy compared to the Kettering Odeon! Unfortunately I didn't see any staff doing checks during the show, as there was constant talking, teenagers using their mobile phones within the auditorium and loads of people sitting in posh seats that they hadn't paid for! The actual screen size is very small (again when comparing it to Kettering) but at least the screen appeared to be clean! The staff were very friendly and helpful and Sally wasn't challenged which is always a bonus. As a MyLimitless member I receive a discount of 10% on food & drink, yet a 500ml bottle of drink still costs me, even after the 10% reduction, £3.27 which is rather expensive given that I can still buy a 500ml bottle of coke for 95 pence in Savers :-( As an aside, if you get there too early, (or your Assistance Hound needs a toilet walk!) there is a lovely dockside walk beside the location, as you can see in the attached photo. Some bins on the exterior of the cinema would be very beneficial in my humble opinion.

From the outside it looks like the Zombie Apocalypse has already happened, with peeling rusty paint, weed strewn paths and a random picnic bench . Inside we were advised we could book our tickets online, or use the (very clunky) ticket machines , which were 1.50 per ticket dearer. When I asked why we couldn't pay at the counter (which was cordoned off, but had staff on, weirdly) I was told that was "cash only". What an odd, odd set up! The screening room itself was pretty small, with quite a few seats out of commission. Sound quality and screen were OK, so some saving graces. Wouldn't rush back tho. A very odd place.

Very tired indoors, disgraceful external standards, good screening rooms. As you arrive it’s clear that this place is in trouble. The car park is strewn with week old litter. The plants are overgrown and the car park lines are mostly worn away. Paint peeling from the building. It looks derelict. As you head inside, it’s a tired but functional old fashioned cinema. If the Vue is full, this does ok for watching a film but I suspect they’re sweating the asset and it’ll be closed soon based on The standards the management are happy to live with.

Lovely film -watched Ghostbusters the Frozen Empire- but really it was absolutely spoilt by four young boys shouting, swearing, getting up and down five times and whispering throughout the whole thing. I know this is nothing that odeon can do but these boys clearly shouldn’t have been let in anyway as they were not 12 or over as they said so at the start of the film. Nobody sat infront of me or my company so we had the perfect view at the back. The reason for the 4 star review is because of those boys and the fact that the seats were hard to get comfy in. The odeon is a calm, caring environment when boys aren’t shouting throughout the whole thing. I will definitely recommend Odeon and will come again. Thank you.

After finding out both of the Chinese buffets had been closed we wandered upon this little place, so we thought we'd give it a go . What an absolute mistake that was. Our first clues should have been that the place was empty, our second clues should have been that the menu is only in Chinese with very little English on it, our third clue should have been when the waiter was unable to translate what was on the menu. Our fourth clue should have probably been the first three things we asked for they didn't have .So once we had deciphered the menu we had to wait a considerable amount of time to actually get the meals and when we did my partner's came considerably sooner than mine, I was left telling him to eat because the gap was so large his was getting cold. He had some sort of soup and sweet and sour chicken. When mine came I was in utter disbelief . My lamb kebabs were the most skinniest, minimalist things I don't even think I could have called it a kebab! More like strings of meat and they were considerably spicy which was not mentioned in the menu (in the little english it had) or waiter. It was about this point when they showed up with the drinks we had ordered more or less when we came in, they did apologise to be fair that they'd forgot but considering we were the only people in the restaurant I'd figure we were pretty hard to forget about, they didn't offer glasses either. 5-10 minutes later they show up with my apparently 'roast potatoes', crisps, we call them. It genuinely was as if they'd emptied some walkers into a bowl and popped them under the grill. To my dismay two Chinese looking gents walked in and their meal looked absolutely amazing! Also, I hope you can eat with chop sticks as no other cutlery was provided (even for very sloppy looking noodle soup)Their English was very poor, so poor they couldn't even translate their own menu I think they should really consider taking some English lessons considering they are so close to the university and would have so much potential for business from it .The whole meal itself cost just shy of £29 and I left hungry, disappointed and in utter disbelief, I am genuinely surprised my partner paid for it I thought he would have put in a complaint and told them not a chance in hell. You could not pay me to return to this place and I wouldn't recommend it as far as I could throw it.
