Well done 👏 have been tied of the cinema for a long time, to exspensive/ uncomfortable/ dirty and like most preferred to stay at home. Well went today with my daughter for the first time in a while and what change!!! Comfortable recliners/£5 a show and very clean. A change well needed! will be back a lot more often now, just don’t get carried away when you get people back through the door and up the prices again, make your money on food and drink and keep people through the door.

this cinema itself is lovely. however, your team dont understand the 15/18 rate films as per your website's policy reference? i went to the branch alone to purchase tickets for 2 for the next day. your team refused to sell me 2 tickets coz only myself went to the branch to purchase tickets!? and only allow to sell 1 ticket to me?! the reason behind is i have to show id proof before purchasing tickets (which is perfectly reasonable) but why cant your team being more understanding coz as per your policy - you will check id proof before attending the film..So why cant you sell me 2 tickets in one go to save me another trip? it just so stupid...

First time been to the cinema for ages and the Odeon is in the middle of refurbishment. We found Don a member of staff extremely helpful when we booked our tickets as the screens are now smaller and soon get booked up.However all I can say is wow the seats recline and very comfortable with a tray for snacks and drinks everywhere was very clean especially the toilets big improvement. Really enjoyed the film and all staff were very friendly and polite will not be long before we go again as felt pricing was very good as well .

Initially gave this a 3 star review as it was in desperate need of a refurb. Looks like they listened and overdone it to a point I would not even imagine. They replaced the seats with leather reclining seats you can have it so your legs are up resting or so you are laying down a bit. There is also alot more room between the seats. There are new tables aswell so you can eat your food. It's such a nice place to be a bit lazy and wind down and chill out. My only complaint being that the prices of snacks are really high. I paid £3.40 for a bottle of Fanta which is very steep. I understand cinemas need to make there money but that is a bit steep. The Overall experience of the cinema though paid it off

I tried looking to see what the difference in seats were from standard to premium but it wasn’t easy to find. It really is not worth paying for the upgrade to premium seats. They are sooo uncomfy and it’s quite hard to see the screen if you’re on the shorter side in height. It was a late screening and it was clear the place hadn’t been cleaned all day. Popcorn all over welcome hall floor and cinema screen. I think I’d rather go to Vue cinema next time.

Booked to see a major blockbuster movie in IMAX on a warm summer night. We were not let into the theatre till close to the movie start time due to problems with the air conditioning, but were eventually let in after being told that the air conditioning would be back on in 30 minutes. The theatre was packed full, and no air conditioning came on during the entire 2+ hour long movie. The stifling heat with no air movement at all made for the worst cinema experience I've ever had. To make matters worse, about halfway through the movie, the right side of the screen started becoming blur and desaturated, and this lasted to the very end of the movie. Disappointing. Would not come back here again.

The cinema has had a massive overhaul to the screens; the seats are amazing, spacious with plenty of leg room, comfy leather seats with soft head rest and uber modern electronic reclining foot rest not to mention an individual swivel table with drink holder for each seat all for £5 per ticket, theres even the option to have a shared bed seat to snuggle with your date or besties. The cinema itself doesn't have its own car park but there is a multi-story (riverside) carpark next door(probably a 2min walk) which you can validate your parking within the cinema and get a pretty decent discount with, just don't park in the surface retail car park because you only get a max 3hrs before you get a fine

I purchased a Limitless membership at the beginning of the year but my local cinema is being converted to a Luxe. I have been told that when it is completed I will have to pay an upgrade to my membership. I think it very unfair to change the deal mid term, especially as there isn't another Odeon cinema for miles. I tried out a recently upgraded Luxe Screen yesterday. Very comfortable and luxurious but I don't see the need for the partitions between the rows of seats. Unless you are very tall or are sitting forward in your seat you cannot see the bottom of the screen. Children wouldn't be able to see anything. In fact a young boy who was sitting next to me yesterday was sitting on the back of his chair so he could see. Certainly not ideal or comfortable and it wouldn't have worked unless he had been on the back row. If there were no partitions but just heads in front, at least we would be able to see in-between the heads.

How ridiculous is this place. They are reducing their cinemas to almost living room size. We tried to get in to Despicable me today but on the app the seat plan is all screwed up and on the website screen 14 has been reduced from the shown 147 seats to actuallyaround 45. Due to the confusion we went in to get our tickets but as it is now only so few seats it was sold out. What happened to the big screen experience? Another reason to stay at home until it's on streaming.

Good job tickets were cheap as the snacks are very expensive on site. The seats were hard and uncomfortable, the screen we viewed on I believe was screen 12 had ripples in it. First visit to this cinema since moving to the area. Pluses: it's cheap to go if you book on line. And you can get parking validated for 4 hours. The staff were lovely. The entrance was quite welcoming - though some of the self serve kiosks were not in action. Didn't buy snacks or drinks so can't comment on the price or quality Minuses: What a pit hole once inside the screen area. The carpets are disgusting, esp by the toilets. The ladies toilets are scruffy with 4/5 cubicles out of use, one soap dispenser, weirdest circle design for the basins. The seats in screen 11 - some have gaffa tape holding them together! There was hazard tape on the walls. Do not sit in seats over the entrance to screen. There's a wall in the way which means they should mark them as restricted view. And there's a smell, reminiscent of urine in that screen too. We heard they are about to revamp, I genuinely hope so. The staff deserve a better place to work.

The cinema is nice but the service is poor. The staff oten seem grumpy. Waited at least 5 minutes at the ice cream stall, which is separate from the counter for all other food and drinks for some reason. Then some reluctant worker mumbled across the room from the other counter saying I had to order there. So trying to remember what we wanted from the ice cream counter, we got in the back of the queue for the main counter. When we got to the front of the queue, another unhappy member of staff reservedly ushered us across to the ice cream counter anyway. So why couldn't any grumpy member of staff attend the ice cream counter in the first place?!

Went to the cinema for first time in ages last week and mostly good experience. Doing the good and lets face it most important bit first the film itself was fine, nothing wrong with picture and sound was ace and loud enough to get real effect. The negatives werent huge but the area when you walk in was flat and dull- with the costa taking focus. Couple of guys at counter were civil but not friendly or welcoming ( person taking tickets was though) a large popcorn was absolutely huge and good value considering what buying packs at home would be. Drinks were pricey though. The more spacious seats at back of cinema werent what was expected - in other cinemas this kind of seat option is a much more comfortable seat and lots more room these werent much different to standard. The validating ticket process considering there must be a huge number of people doing that parking wise felt like an afterthought with a scanner on a table in the corridor.place felt a bit tired in general. Overall ok but would look to go elsewhere first.

I was gutted and thought I had lost my money and/or would have to go the the cinema to swap tickets. But it was really easy to just cancel the ticket on the Odeon app and rebook on a different day.
