Fortunate to get reservations at O'CONNORS last minute. Management kindly helped us out. My background is in hospitality, and I can Honestly say this my favourite restaurant to date. Excellent looking menu, reasonably priced. Quirky, warm & welcoming place, with excellent staff. In view of the kitchen, watching the chef's dishing up there delicious creations. Armagh lady was serving us, a delight to speak to. Starters,chicken wings & japanse style gougons. Unreal, Perfect starters, large portions 2 Ribeyes, cooked to our likely, mouthwatering is an understatement. Make Reservations for this place.. Such a friendly and bustling bar. Great selection of drinks and very tasty bar food. We loved catting whilst sitting in 2 high wing backed chairs in the window

You feel the commitment to really great service. We started Edinburgh here and had to revisit. It's that good! Friendly staff, Great drinks, and delicious food in generous portions! I loved the fish and chips! Husband loved the Bangers and mash' Come and eat here! Thank me later😉

Simply stunning. Given a fab table. The falafel amazing and believe me I have eaten many over my 65 years. Beautiful decor really friendly attentive service. Much appreciated .

Cosy atmosphere and very attentive staff. The food was delicious as well, plenty of options for brunch and dinner. A lovely respite from the cold Scottish weather!

We have eaten here for lunch and early evening appetizers and drinks. The bangers and mash were excellent as was the fish and chips. For appetizer we had the baked Brie. Also delicious. Friendly staff and very relaxing vibes.

Lovely pub we went for lunch and it wad really tasty. Went back for dinner the next day and had prawn and monkfish linguine. The best we've had. The staff are so friendly and nice. Will definitely be back.

A fun local spot to relax in with decent food. We walked from our flat and got a high top table on the window. The service was really good and we had time to unwind as our food was prepared. Typical pub fare and we would return.

Popped in for a couple of evening drinks with my wife on our anniversary trip to Edinburgh. Great atmosphere and service. A good selection of beer, but I couldn't resist a glass of The Macallan Aera single malt!

It was actually back in May that I was at O'connors. I was in Edinburgh for a stag weekend and we struck gold that O'conners was just across the road from all our respective AIRBNB"S in Cannonmills. It actually made our stay. The staff are all amazing and forgive me for forgetting their names but the husband wife duo running the place were wonderful hosts and invested their time into making our group feel welcome. All the food coming off of the pass looked great and it's a really cool upper area where you can see the chefs hard at work. We mainly had breakfasts tho but the breakfast menu is great and all the produce is really high quality. Also the range of Ales, Lagers, Wheat beer, Cider and whisky were top notch. On the Saturday of the weekend we congregated in here for breakfast and a few drinks before going off to the horse racing. The owner gave us some dodgy tips on some horses but also gave us some Jameson to sample before we went on our way and this was just an example of how lovely they were. I plan on coming back to Edinburgh from Oxford soon and will base where I book to stay on it being close to this venue and I suggest you do the same. 5 Green trip advisor circles from me. Regards.

Amazing choice of draught and (German ) bottled beer.... And comfy chairs!!! Food is better than pub food should be (especially the nachos and monkfish) and staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgble! Will definitely be going back.
