A good takeaway. Prompt service and food was good and hot. Hidden away but worth a trip.

We tried this for the first time and were not disappointed. Had no menu so ordered set meal for 2. Delivery was bang on time and food was delicious. Will definitely be ordering from them again.

Sadly overrated, stodgy food, low on flavour, disappointing. Has a good cleanliness rating and is friendly but overalls a very average takeaway.

Nice food easy pick up cash only though

We are staying as tourists in this area very close to your take away. We've ordered different meals and everything was absoloutely delicious. The portions were large and worth the money. If you search for excellent and fresh asian food, this is the place to go. It was a friendly service and we were really surprised about the extras (crisps and fortune cookies). We really appreciated this and gave us a nice image about "Ocean Hay". It is not self-evident today. Thank you very much for this nice experience. We will definitely visit "Ocean Hay" again if we're in Weymouth again.

Every dish was fantastic. Fresh and perfectly cooked. I would go out of my way to come here for my take away. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend Ocean Hey to my friends and family.

Ordered my food at 5.45pm and requested a 8.00pm delivery. Food arrived on time and was piping hot. The food itself was excellent. All the meat was tender. Curries were nicely flavoured. Prawn crackers nice and crispy. The Ocean Hay platter was fabulous crunchy 4x prawn toast, small tub of crispy seaweed, 4 x small spare ribs and 2x large peking rolls. But the best dish by far was Lamb in ginger with spring onions to die for. Cash only is the only slight downside. Free prawn crackers, fortune cookies and delivery with an over £20 spend. All in all a fantastic Chinese takeaway that's highly recommended.

What to say about the ocean hay is great food, a large quantity for fair price there even deliver to your street with the food still pipe hot I definitely worth trying it and I will definitely order there again

Ordered a takeaway tonight 24/6/2023 based on read reviews. Was not disappointed the staff were very friendly polite and the food was really nice and delivered on time. The next time we are in Weymouth will not hesitate too use again.

Awful food , I am suffering bad belly today, me and my husband was sick and feel really unwell today, the prawn crackers were stale and the meal was not enjoyable , worst thing is it cost £45 for the meal, would never order there again

I live at tophill portland and this by far is the best chinese around nothing ever wasted, great portions the staff and drivers are polite, food is fresh and tastes amazing, so glad they deliver here. I won't go anywhere else

Hands down these guys do the best Chinese food I have ever had. I've been to many restaurants in London and the food these guys do is way better than any other Chinese restaurant I've been to 🙌 my favourite is their beef in Malaysian satay sauce, and the crispy shredded beef, to die for.

Absolutely amazing food got to be the best Chinese I've ever had barbecue spare ribs loads of meat on them ,house special chow mein big pieces of pork and chicken prawns etc ,chicken satay big pieces of chicken on skewers and a prawn curry excellent value for money i would highly reccomend this take away and give it 5 star 👍

Excellent Chinese takeaway, one of the best I've had in a while. We're down in Weymouth on holiday and saw some reviews online that this was regarded as one of the best Chinese takeaways in Weymouth, it lived up to the hype!! Very tasty, reasonably priced, quick and super friendly service. Salt n Pepper prawns, pancake roll and spare ribs were excellent. The sweet and sour pork HK style and Yung Chow Fried rice were also top. If you are after a Chinese takeaway in Weymouth, give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Chicken curry good taste but sauce bit stodgy and thick. Portions very large! Overall 7.5/10 so pretty good.

I read the reviews and certainly wasn't disappointed. The spring rolls and chicken balls were the biggest I've ever had. There was plenty of chicken in lovely crispy batter. The Special Chow Mein was also delicious with big pieces of meat. Also the cheapest Chinese I know. Will definitely be going back. Well done Ocean Hay.

New Year's eve. Very busy but still superb. We always get our Chinese Meal from here. It was a little delayed in delivery but they were understandably rushed off their feet but it was still piping hot and delicious and plenty of it. Happy New Year Ocean Hay.. You are the best.

I am stunned by the quality of the food! Needed to feed 8 grown ups after a long day with children. They were able to cook up all the food within 45 minutes and the quality is outstanding. The salt level is perfect. Not too salty but well seasoned. Their roast duck is phenomenal. When I walked in, I saw 4 other Asians cooking and knew my order was in good hands. Will definitely recommend!!

This is most definitely the best Chinese takeaway in Weymouth, and probably one of the best we have ever had! Flavours quality and value for money is excellent!!!

We had mushroom chopsuey, mix veg and rice, sweet and sour chicken balls (10 massive balls) chicken,pepper and black bean sauce and egg fried rice. VERY GOOD QUALITY. Missing item quickly rectified. Deserves 5 stars. Worth the holiday in the rain for!

I have always ordered from here. ‘Best in Weymouth!’ is how I describe these beautiful people and recommend to all. Today, however, unfortunately; something wasn’t quite right. I phoned and spoke to a beautiful individual who listened. All still great. Thank you. FIVE STARS X

Tried this for the first time on my birthday, and the service was excellent. Measures for Covid were appropriate and well thought out. I ordered; Beef Fried Rice, Lemon Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken and Beef in a black bean sauce. It was delicious and generous portions. Will definitely visit again
