Absolutely brilliant in all respects

Cod really well priced. Batter crispy outside. Very gooey inside. Hence a 4star

2 hours I waited for a delivery. Even after calling the shop I was told as they use their own app as well as just eat they can't keep up! I ordered 2 kebab trays with chips and salad...... neither had salad. Small fish and chips or should I say CHIP there were hardly any!

Popped in as a first visit, was one person in front of me with three staff members on the till. Was more or less a full blown argument going on regarding a larger order. Ended up giving up waiting after over ten minutes stood there and no one had been served.

Delivery was great, food was terrible, chips tasted like they’ve been out for a while, batter on the sausage was poor, best part of the meal was the can of Vimto. Disappointed really

The food came earlier than expected which was great. The issue was the Balti pie, you couldn’t eat the top as it was as hard as concrete.

Waited over 2 hrs for a very small order. Got told twice it was turning up in 15 mins. I never complain or write reviews, but I think it’s unfair that I’ve been refused a refund when I’ve waited that long. I’ve never had issues here before, but won’t be ordering again. Very late and very poor service

Food was really good besides the kebabs, naan bread was pretty wet but the quality of everything else didn’t make me care about the kebabs.

I was telephoned to see if I wanted my food earlier than the pre-booking time I had been given, which was brilliant and not the first time this has happened. Always so friendly and provide a fantastic service and great food. Thanks 😆

Beautiful hot food, not greasy at all. Always been my fave chippy. Only Criticism is the mushy peas aren’t nice all. Very bland and watery. Think you should look at this as it’s always been a problem. Delivery driver very bubbly and friendly. Thanks guys

Very long wait time for delivery , really disappointed as we use your business a lot and this is the first time ordering online. There was no option to select 2 sauces or salad for the kebabs. By the time it arrive it was luke warm and not the best quality like we are used to when we come into your shop face to face.

When phoned because it hadn’t been delivered on time, they told me it hadn’t even been put together yet!

Front desk is shocking , really poor people prople ,, Food is absolutely terrible .. stay away

Ordered from here multiple times in the past and never had an issue however had to wait over 2 hours for my order tonight, an hour past the expected delivery time. Rang at estimated time and then again half an hour later and asked for a refund but was told food was already on the way. Food was ok once it arrived although it was only lukewarm and the woman I spoke to on the phone seemed genuinely apologetic but clearly they need more or better delivery drivers than what they currently have.

Food was very late. Due to road conditions. But lady very apologetic when I rang and driver too. But when arrived piping hot and kids ate every crumb due to being hungry. Still best chippy by far.

I’ve never wrote a review on just eat before , have to tonight. I ordered 2 hours ago. I would normally go into collect as it’s a 5min drive away, but I’ve currently got flu so couldn’t be bothered. The food was poor, hardly any chips, meat and barely any salad. Luckily it was t a big order but it normally is. Very dissatisfied and will not order again. Feel free to contact me , but I feel Ocean know they messed up on this one.

It still well worth the wait, and meal was still hot. Only downside was I only received 13 cheaps for my £7 odd own meal 😞 very shocking indeed. But 10/10 for mine and my mother's meal on freshness, taste and service

Really bad, order still has not arrived, was ordered around 1800, estimated delivery was 1920. Its now 2005 and I've had nothing but an apologising text.

After nearly 2 hours of waiting actually had to go & collect the food myself. The woman was very apologetic & said they were waiting for delivery driver & refunded my delivery fee. The food was ok but could tell it had been sat waiting in the heated cabinet for a while!! Never had a problem before & hopefully a one off but really need to sort the delivery out. Also the items went to ‘enjoy your food’ bang on estimated delivery time when I clearly hadn’t had it!!

Food arrived late as driver could not find my house. No issues previously. As a result it was very late and cold when it did arrive. Disappointing service.

It started off o.k a year ago, but has gone to pot since. The service is diabolical, delivery absolutely ridiculous.As for the food, most of its o.k but the saveloys are not supposed to be split. Will not be using again!!!

Always hot, fresh food, delivered promptly. Very tasty and the restaurant is good at communication if anything in your order isn't available. Use every time we want fish & chips or kebabs.

Food has massively gone down hill, used to be my go to order place! Portions terrible, chips not fully cooked and majorly oily, both chickens and donna meat horribly greasy… grease poured out the tray they are that bad!… will never be ordering from there again

The battered chips were not nice they tasted very earthy. But the mixed kebab and battered sausage, curry sauce was very nice.

Very early which was fab! Not much meat on the kebab again, hardly any donner on the main kebab. More on my child’s portion! But disappointing when the girls at the place are so polite! Was overall nice just lacking size for the cost once again.

Portion was shockingly small compared to usual, called up to complain and the woman that answered was very rude and even admitted that they ran out of one type of the chicken so it was less a portion!

Absolutely disgusting. Firstly the order was wrong and when I called the staff were just rude. The kebab was swimming in grease just couldn't eat it was making me feel physically sick Not sure how to add a photo

Fantastic food, and service is brilliant, nothing is too much trouble.

The food was edible but seemed pretty poor quality. I can see the irony in it being fried but it wasn’t that nice… They don’t even put salt and vinegar on the food.

Ordered here before and never had a problem.... Few weeks ago, the portion of chips was barely enough for one but I let it go for the sake of it. We ordered a meal for collection from somewhere else to get to the said place and be issued a refund as no food left. At 20.50, I can see this chippy is open until 21.30 so I tell my Partner to shoot round there to grab some food as we've not had anything prole since lunch. He got there at 21.05 (advertised to be open until 21.30) to be told as the shutters were going down, it's to do with covid! No, you shut early because its quiet. Unfortunately you didn't state that on your opening times. Last time we go there again.

Missed off the curry sauce for the value box, not the end of the world but would of been nice to have received it

Just had some battered chips and curry sauce, took me back many years when I was at school. They were fantastic! Staff were very helpful and friendly. All the food looked really good. Will definitely be back.

Sorry but what is this? Didn't order a kebab for it to be half full, wont be ordering from here again. Wouldn't be like that if I went into store and brought it. It Would be getting sent back if I wasn't so hungry.

Yet again we order from this place and they accept the delivery order yet don't bother to deliver and don't bother to ring us to tell us there's a problem.go to the shop then get a stinking attitude off the staff as if its pur fault we ordered.
