Oasis O1 Restaurant in Greenwich

Nice simple dinner of burger and toasted sandwich in our hotel after a long day of travel. Good friendly and prompt service. We will come back

We were staying at the Doubletree and wanted an early dinner after a long flight. We hoped for the restaurant, but it was closed at 5 PM, but the bar offered a full menu so we could eat the food, but sit in the very comfortable bar area. The food was terrific and the service was excellent. We were very pleased. We also had breakfast twice & it was also excellent with a good assortment of both cold and hot offerings.

Had a nice evening with a friend. Restaurant was clean, elegant design. Food was amazing we had the lamb shank and roasted vegetables with mash and the other dish was smoked salmon with roasted potatoes. Great English food!

We had Chicken Tikka Masala, with great wines form their listings and we were very happy campers. Two dishes in UK, you must try...Fish and Chips... and Chicken Tikka Masala, reportedly surpassing sails of Fish and Chips a t one time...Oasis does it right...and their morning breakfast have a fabulous balance of European/British specialties as well as the American wants to satisfy our appetites.

Very clean restaurant. Excellent service. Staff very attentive and smartly dressed Good selection of food on the menu. Well presented.

Was nice meal wasn't the menu we'd been given when booked for the theatre, was told that was bar meals, so why put in restaurants, because drinks expensive we we had pint of coke & bottle of peroni & was over £10. Meal was nice but not what expected & not filling as small portions.

We had booked to dine here on Saturday evening. We booked the table over the phone on the Thursday. We arrived and asked reception where the restaurant was and were told we couldn't eat there as it was closed for a private party. We advised the lady on reception that we had booked only two days ago, and she said ok that's fine if we had booked we could go on in. When we entered the restaurant a waiter asked if he could help us and we confirmed we had a reservation. Without even checking the reservations and without a glimmer of an apology we were told he had no tables and that they were setting up for a private function. We left feeling disappointed and disgruntled as we had taken the trouble to call ahead and we weren't even offered an apology for our time being wasted. Chaotic organisation, poor management and disinterested staff. We have used the bar a few times when the hotel belonged to the Mercure group and really enjoyed our drinks there, with friendly staff and an interest in customer service. Very disappointed by the Hilton's takeover and after this experience we won't be back.

This weekend I visited Greenwich and stayed at Double Tree by Hilton hotel Greenwich. I had my dinner at this hotel's restaurant, starter home made sweet potato soup, main sirloin steak. Both dishes perfectly cooked and delicious! I enjoyed my dinner very much.

The food is very delicious but kinda expensive from what I saw the places trying to live up to very unreal standards most of the waiters where trying just to keep up with basic work but they did a good job !

We did not stay here (but shall in the future). After a hectic couple of days in the West End, we treated ourselves to an afternoon tea here before coming home. Friendly staff from the reception to the wait staff. Lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes and of course scones. A selection of teas to choose from. They also do one with champagne but as we were driving home we just had tea. Highly recommend if you are in that area.

The menu has some interesting footnote but in the end I ordered the classic fish & chips. The staff was very kind and very helpful. Generous portions.

We stayed in this hotel so ate here one evening after along day. The menu is reasonably priced especially for a London hotel. The burger was lovely had by one of my colleagues, veggie lasagna had by be very tasty, catch of the day also lovely can't fault.

Nach einem langen Reisetag freuten wir uns im Mercure Greenwich-eigenen Restaurant noch etwas essen zu können. Wir kamen kurz vor Schluss, das Restaurant hatte bereits geschlossen, aber wir durften in der sehr gemütlichen Bar platz nehmen, und von der Restaurantkarte bestellen. Meine Freundin hatte das Thai Vegetable Curry mit Hühnchen. Das fand sie sehr scharf, und fand die Gemüsemenge für ein vegetable Curry sehr gering. Ich hatte das Rib Eye Steak, medium rare, und war damit sehr zufrieden, der Garpunkt war perfekt getroffen. Die Tomate und der gegarte Champignon waren eine interessante Ergänzung. Die Pommes fand ich ein wenig langweilig, aber mit etwas Essig und Salz waren sie doch wieder gut. Die Bedienung war schnell und überaus freundlich. Der Preis war für ein Hotelrestaurant in London absolut in Ordnung.

Stayed in hotel over valentines weekend booked meal for Saturday night.the restraint as as a great feel menu was themed valentines with good choice we both really enjoyed the food and service was good.bar a great area to relax after dinner I would recommend you try especially if you are staying

It was a treat from the very entrance to the hotel (restaraunt is a part of the boutique hotel in Greenwich). Door staff made it very special and I felt looked after. Chique decor, very tastful lights and furniture - all was very welcoming. Restaurant is in the basement floor and you have to take a romantic staircase to get to it. Sitting is very comfortable and you feel in a high class establishment with well set tables and attentive waiters. We all had dishes from the set Christmas menu and I really liked the shellfish starter and miniature cheesecake desert. Slightly disspointing main though as the lamb was not easy to chew. They also have a good selection of good quality wines. Since we were in a party mood, it did not take us long to try that special dance floor. I would probably advice to swap the carpet to a floor surface, lolWe also found it a bit odd that while our's was the only party downstairs they almost pushed us out of the dining area once we finished eating. I understand the need of setting the tables up for the next day, still ....
