Oasis Fish Bar in Telford and Wrekin

Well priced, the servings are sadly smaller than some of the competition in Telford. Staff are very friendly which I do like when your waiting for your food to be prepared. Myself and Wife have the vegan pies too which are nice. Would love to see some more vegan options, maybe something similar to the Aldi Vegan battered sausage or some vegan donner? Would love to see larger servings in the large chips. Being shut on a Sunday is a shame, even being open over lunch 12-2pm or something would be nice 😊

Been going every week, popping in to get tea. Nice friendly greeting and quick service. Proper nice traditional chippy. It may not have current trends like big meal boxes etc, But you get good value and excellent food just like you remember.... Hard to find a good chippy, well not any more. Enjoy. 👌

Really sorry, just had the worst chips ever from you, very soft and mushy, not cooked long enough, straight in the bin, disappointed, end on a high note, Fish was amazing

The chips were soggy and small bit tasted okay they have good drinks there but took 3 minute wait so not long but was lots of flys getting in and on the food smells bad there but looks nice and the walls have a nice pattern on them but I don't recommend going there but it's up to you.

Shocking had a large bag of chips £4:50 looked like a cone of chips will never go there again absolutely discusting i know theres a cost of living but when u spend nearly £5 on a bag of chips should feed 2or3 people not 1

Literally this place deserves a 6 or a 7 star rating. Making this our local now. Simply the best Meat & Onion Pie and Chips ever had. Came here a couple of weeks ago and the food was excellent too. Definitely best place for Fish and Chips in Telford without a shadow of doubt.

Two occasions now we have had either poor service or bad food, I wouldn't believe all the reviews, first occasion we order dona kebas, got them home and they was hard ans clearly been there for a while, meat was unedible. Second occasion way before closing on a Saturday night, there a server that doesn't speak English using a translator and there out of nearly everything, not even a sausage... safe to say I'd travel further next time. In response to the owners comment below, I did ans was to occasions, but as mentioned there are other chippys around the corner just wanted to leave my honest review.

Been going here for over 30 years it's no my nearest chippy but the best in Telford

We had meat and potato pie the pastry was rock hard and the filling had no potatoes and very little meat Normally the food is good I guess we won’t have the pies again

Went to oasis fish bar on Saturday 4th of February had there fish and chips with curry sauce lovely staff the fish and chips were lovely will go again

Lovely food and reasonable price. Parking is a pain though as cars don't park in 1 bay and there are not many spaces to use.

1st visit here 7/2/23. Very impressed. 4 fish and chips sausage in batter and halloumi frys. Food hot and good portions. Fish cooked fresh. Friendly staff. And owner? Good varied menu. Highly recommended 5* will definitely visit again.

I went in this evening the ladie was extremely helpful and nice but as for the standard/temperature of the food isn't good. My mum and I used to always have our dinner on the odd evening's. This evening I had donor meat and chips husband had jumbo sausage and chips with a curry sauce. We only live just around the corner from the chippy and we was in the car. The meals were bearly worm, the chips were greasy soggy, the donor meat was like eating cardboard even the cat didn't want it. Even sader the owner was working, it seems like his heart isn't in it anymore. If it wasn't for the ladie who served me it would of been a 0 star.

Had fabulous thick cut cod roe, delicious.

Staff were friendly car park right next to it, with level access to the rear. Ordered a large chicken kebab meat and chips with a bit of salad. The chicken tasted rubbery the salad had turned and the chips were greasy. Wouldn’t recommend and will not be returning

Was charged 15. 50 pounds for two large fish and chips. But instead received dry and stale, oily fish with 20 chips. This portion was smaller than a regular portion. I rang the shop to complain, I got passed onto the manager, who I couldn't understand. They were rude and gave attitude, they did not say it was there mistake. And then continued to put the phone down on me. I am not happy with this service will not be coming here again.

Always the nicest fish and chip shop, bar very occasionally old chips when they're about to shut down. Still consistently the best and though I'm moving fifteen minutes away and there's many places between where I will live and Oasis Fish Bar, it will be well worth the time to get there. Couldn't recommend enough

Worst chippy I've been too. Chips are very oily and soggy. Fish was very dry and stale. Portion size is poor. Won't be going here again.

Lovely friendly service, I didn't know the card machine wasn't working and because I didn't have cash the lovely owner trusted me to pay her later when I had cash and still served me my food. Lovely food I would definitely recommend this chip shop. :)

Had a chicken tikka kebab which was v bland with chilli sauce which was also tasteless also had a cone of chips which were slightly undercooked v dissapointing

Can never fault it, always a lovely feed. They have also put in fantastic. Measured to make sure they are covid safe.

Love the economy box meal which consists of small sausage, fish, chips & choice of sauce. We always have it with gravy which is really nice. Usually have food as takeaway but have sat & ate in restaurant a few times before. All staff very friendly & very good service.

I usually go for a fish and chip supper every 2weeks and the service, quality if foid us excellent. You normally order, pay and because they are busy at 5pm ish, your food generally is cooked to order. We've never had a bad meal or any reason to complain so please keep up the good work !!
