Oakwood Cafe in Ryedale

Not the cheapest but definitely one of the best. You don't mind paying a bit more for quality and this definitely was quality. All local produce and you can tell. We went out of season so was only open for the weekend or we would have gone back later in the week.

This is one of my favorite places for coffee and cake. All home baked and served with excellent coffee. For something more substantial try the burgers, but make sure your hungry.

Cakes and coffees are lovely. Next to play area which is lovely too. We had breakfasts. However I would suggest two improvements: 1. Kids menu/ kids size portion option 2. Don’t slather toast / bread in butter- give butter on side

Great locally sourced food and drinks all through the day. Pizzas on a night are gorgeous and staff are friendly and always happy to help. Would recommend to anybody visiting the site or the local area, especially families as the cafe is over looking a play park.
