Love this chippy the food is delicious. It does take a long time to wait on the food tho that's the biggest down side.

You can spend time inside or take your food to go.

Went tonight for 3 fish suppers for my family, when I got home I realised I had chips and batter which was so so thick and tasteless the fish could hardly be seen as there was so little of it just a very thick tasteless batter put round a very small fish, so disappointed in this I won’t be returning back nor will my friends and family. I will just go to Mc Canns in future as there is so much nicer.

Staff don’t seem interested in providing a service, they also don’t understand the difference between a “plain” burger and a “cheese” burger. Also instead of “no salt & vinegar” they drown the chips in vinegar and they give you a portion of salt with a side of chips. Not happy whatsoever

Best fish i've had, always amazing

Food isn't bad- but after today's visit, will never be back (having been going to the place for years). Rude, ignorant, disrespectful staff. While the owner was somewhat apologetic, there certainly didn't seem to be any recognition of the problem. The place doesn't deserve to have customers, if the behaviour of staff is any measure. There are better places around. My advice? Avoid this one.

Great flavour same about the amount of sauce put on the gravy chip I ordered, slow service but over all worth it if not getting a gravy chip, the cheesy curry chip I also ordered was great

Food was amazing. Just plain and simple chippy food no frills and they do it very well. Great portion sizes. Cash only which is great to see. Cash machine 2min walk away

Staff and service was very unpleasant and disrespectful. The food was tasty but infested with human hair, and a staff member was vaping while preparing food, which doesn't seem sanitary. Would never return.

My sister and I were a bit stranded in Castlewellan because we couldn't get a taxi...we went in here to order food but apart from food service, they rang round local taxis (Inc family) trying to accommodate us AND even though our (eventual) taxi was due after their closing hours..they welcomed us to stay indoors until it arrived...and no...they didn't know us! Thank you so much xxx?

Just try the Cowboy supper! Hard to fit it all in but too delish to leave any. Plus I swear that gorgeous little blonde lady with the amazing smile twinkled those lovely peepers at me on purpose! I could have just melted.....

Ordered £30 worth of food, Asked for a meat pastie and got a battered beef burger. Cheesy chip with beans was very dry, other food was ok but wouldn’t go back.

I didn't have that nice fish and chips in a long time. Specially chips 😋

We were camping in Tollymore Forest and wanted to have a meal instead of cooking today. We walked past the Oak Grill initially but decided to try it. Lovely diner and staff really helpful and friendly. Real potatoes chipped and very generous portions. Worth a visit when you are hungry. Thank you girls, your customer service is outstanding.

This place have the best fish and chips and curry sos is very tasty and cover whole chips . I like it and highly recommended

£25 for two chicken nugget meals for kids and a hot dog that was four sausages in a burger bun? Very highly priced for a chipper.

Order rang in , arrived 25 mins later,no sign of my order, this is the third time I have visited and got really bad service, food takes for ever to be ready .I would not recommend this place to anyone

Traditional take-away with a set menu sit in dinner also. Everything was freshly prepared so there was a wait . Crispy fat chips and their inhouse pastie was superb
