I have always found staff friendly. Food is home cooking. Sometimes you have to remind staff of some of the order but this seems mainly because it run on having few staff. I like some of their mannerisms; whether it’s typical Portuguese or not I like it… no complaints

The service is basic, this is a very typical Portugues restaurant, no frill, no grandeur just honest good food 🥘 like the one you can find in any small town in Portugal 🇵🇹 We sat in the patio and that can be a mistake if you want to avoid the smoke. Service is quick and food is fresh. You can have a heavy dish or light snack. We have mules on tomatoes sauce and was delicious! sever with home made chips 🍟 a good size portion!

The staff here are very kind and inclusive to all customers and have served me coffee, breakfasts and food with friends or visiting alone. As I lived on the Iberian Peninsula for 2 years in 4 cities it brings back many positive memories of my time there and their family friendly atmosphere means it is a good place for all people from London open for everyone in Europe. Obrigado, gracias.

Went there today. The service was poor with our waitress having poor communication with us, asked for bread and olives it took her 10 minutes minimum to come. Ask for the grilled mixed meat, was dry looked like it had been cooked earlier in the day and just put a sauce over it. To add, the seasoning was poor no matter how much salt I put on the food. There are better Portuguese restaurant in Norwood which I would suggest so that you don’t waste time and money.

visited this place on a saturday night with another couple , ive never put a bad review on tripadvisor before but this this time had to be done, i ordered lamb chops with rice and chips, i asked for the chops to be well done they came out rare without the rice the rude waitress took the plate back to kitchen after 10 minutes she returned , the chops still not welll done and chips by now freezing cold so for me never again, and the quality of chops terrible probably from iceland which is across the road, anyway my friends agreed terrible service and for us never again.

Probably my favourite place to eat in West Norwood. I’ve worked my way through most of their menu (& a fair few of the daily specials) and have enjoyed everything. The staff are lovely and it’s great value too! What’s not to like?

Look more like a cafe but the food is genuine Portuguese and very very tasty. Amazing value, will not disappoint.

We have come here for lunch several times over the past year or so and have always found it to be friendly, efficient and with generous portions of tasty Portuguese cuisine - accompanied by Sagres beer. Each time it was well frequented by local Portuguese people, which to me is always a good sign. In summer there is also a pleasant area out at the back. It's also a good place to stop for coffee and the pastries for which Portugal is famous - you don't have to have lunch! .

Great Portuguese food restaurant, good seasoning, with homemade flavor. If you already know the Portuguese cuisine, you will like it very much, and if you do not know it, there are many other options on the menu. The only negative point is the lady who seems to be the owner who is not the friendliest.

Spent Christmas Day at our daughters in West Norwood. Went for a walk to blow the cobwebs away on Boxing Day morning, and then had brunch at O Iberico. We were not disappointed at all - four delicious full English breakfasts were ordered and devoured; tasty quality ingredients all at a sensible price. Good friendly service - would re-visit if we venture down to Ldn again. :)

I wanted to have lunch, have always passed the restaurant in West Norwood's high street, and today I decided to go in and check it out. It looks quite nice and the restaurant stretches to the very back. Staff was reserved but friendly. I ordered one of their daily specials - tuna steak. And as we all know, tuna steak is either the most delicious thing ever or as dry as biting into straw; unfortunately, it was the latter that was the case today. It took me a whole pint of beer to wash down the steak. Their menu seems to be rich though, lots of stuff to choose from; I just happened to choose the wrong thing. Will I come back? Probably not, or at least not in the near future. There are other restaurants in the high street which I want to check out first.

The food is delicious and the portions very generous. The staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is great. It is a great location for lunch or dinner. There is also a great seating area outside which is great in the summer. Highly recommend it if you're a fan of good food at a good price.

By far one of the best places for real Portuguese food, me and my partner visit often to have coffee, we had never tried their food, the place is modest and very well run, the food was really good, steak in francesinha was lovely and tender, it was a trip down memory lane :) specially with the hand cut chips :) service is very attentive :)

Muy buen guiso de conejo. El lugar es bastante concurrido, con portugueses (buena señal verdad?), un buen servicio, pero un toque caro para el almuerzo.

Having never tried Portuguese food,my wife and I came upon this place, and we were not disappointed, my wife ordered pork clams and fried potatoes, myself steak, ham and egg a'la Portuguese,we had a San Miguel while waiting for our food which was cooked fresh,we sat outside at the back as inside was quite full and noisy (for good reason as the main topic of conversation was how good the food was)the staff and service was excellent, our food arrived hot and well presented (be prepared to eat as the portion size is huge)my steak was cooked perfect for my taste and very nice sauce accompanied the beautiful ham and runny egg, nice salad and dressing,my wife's meal was again lovely plenty of clams and olives and again a sauce to die for which begged to be "mopped up" with the lovely soft fluffy fried potatoes, after cleaning our plates,my wife spied cake which had been ordered by the table next to us,so after five minutes rest we decided to try some,we ordered coffee (2 Americano,s and an espresso) im glad we only ordered one between us as again big portion size, the cake was a creamy slice of coffee with a caramel drizzle and was delicious, and not too sweet the coffee good quality and nice to cut through the sweetness of the cake, and here is the best part of all, all of this for under £30,ladies who lunch this is the place for you, children and pram friendly this place has it all, a nice place all round

We went to Iberico for breakfast on the recommendation of one of my daughter's friends. It was bustling, friendly and, for what we wanted, perfect. A full English after a heavy night. The Portuguese staff were attentive and helpful and the food wholesome and tasty. It was also very good value. Evening specials were on offer and, whilst we cannot comment on them, they looked interesting and similarly good value. For example, rabbit stew, a glass of wine, coffee and a pudding for £10. We will definitely return.

On arrival informed we had our tAble for less than 2 hours. Had their Christmas £45 menu which was a huge rip off. To give you an idea the best course was the cheese. Most of the seafood was barely cooked even though the ingredients looked good. To make it worse most dishes had heavy glutinous sauces to spoil them rather than spices and oil as one would expect. We had to get one course taken back and re cooked and another taken off the bill. One of the worst meals I have had in London for Some years.

We came to dinner with friends and found the service to be terrific and the food great. While there erected some traditional style tapas dishes there were lots of new twists on some classics. The potatoes and octopus were particularly good. Good wine selection and a reasonable sangria.

We have been here two times and the place is very nice, friendly but the coffe was on undrinkable temperature both times and in this profession I know It should not be like this. The staff is very kind but needs more competence in hospitality. It is very annoying when you get cutlery four times for one meal and the waitress looks confused. Finally we will come back, the food was delicious.

We came for a business dinner and found the food outstanding. The trio of Iberico ham was especially good, but many other dishes delighted too, such as the chorizo lollipops. Prompt service, a good wine list, and impressive decor all rounded it out. Pricey place, but worth it.
