NY Fold in City of London, Westminster

This place serves pizza with an amazing crust for sure but I had a problem with the flavours of the pizza itself. First of all the margarita was average and extremely hot (the staff didn’t even caution me), like super piping hot that they forgot it in the oven or something, it ended up burning my mouth (and endured too more days of pain). The big daddy was defiantly better but the flavours didn’t quite feel working together. The meatballs one was the worst and i barely noticed any hint of beef. The chicken-parm was the best I had and tasted like eating a main course of chicken parmesan! Even if you are extremely hungry 3 slices should be enough! Maybe pass by grab a slice on the go but def not a destination.

I went here for a quick take-away lunch, and was very pleased! The slices are massive and one alone is very filling.

Pasé por aquí en diciembre mientras estaba de vacaciones en Londres, como una cena antes del teatro antes de ir a Chicago (lo cual fue increíble), pero me sentí muy decepcionado por este lugar que me fui sin comer más de unos cuantos bocados.

Absolutely dreadful meal here this week. Service was very slow. Chips arrived 10 minutes before our pizzas. Pizzas were incredibly greasy and the quality of the ingredients was very low.

We were passing by, and noticed nice pizzas over the window, really tasteful pizzas and good service, I recommend the bid daddy vegetarian. For sure we will visit again.

Been here loads, but don't think ever reviewed them. Its good pizza, very different to other pizza places in the area and you can have it buy the slice. The Pizza is good, large ,crispy base and of course tasty. Service is good too. Price wise, its very reasonable and they have some interesting offers, especially on Monday's eat all you want pizza.

Popped in for a quick pizza. Had the 2 slice special and both were really good indeed. Recommended and I shall go back.

It was very nice i love this place. Luka and Handry's approach was very professional and unique from welcoming to presentation of the food. Highly recommended and the food was astonishing, i will definitely be visiting this place again.

We arrived in London late night from the NY metropolitan area, but with the time change we were still wide awake so went to walk around our neighborhood. We wanted a bite of something but nothing heavy. Many pubs and restaurants were already done serving food. We happened upon this Pizza joint and decided that would be just right. Because it was late there wasn't much of a selection but we each found a slice that sounded good. It was a pleasant surprise that the crust and flavor were a pretty decent offering of NY style pizza. The space is small but there was a table for us, and it reminded me of the late night pizza places in NYC. Not fancy but you can get a pie and sit and no one is rushing you out. The fold instructions were a fun decoration, though I have to admit I have never seen anyone pile up their slices then fold. It was a fun start to a great vacation.

Visited here 2 years ago, couldn’t wait to go back. Unfortunately this time, the lovely warm welcome was not there. We had asked for garlic bread as a starter, told this was not available and there was no way they could make it - in a pizza restaurant! We ordered chicken wings that can at the same time as the main but were amazing! The lady serving us was so very miserable, she didn’t even crack a smile when we complemented the pizza which was fantastic. A real shame the service let this visit down as we were so looking forward to going back, do not have the same feeling this time.

Friend suggested we meet here for lunch. I’m not generally a pizza lover but thought it’d be alright as there were a few none pizza dishes but I might have been better off sticking with pizza. The lasagne balls seemed interesting but were hot on the outside but cold in the middle -yuck. And chicken wings which I thought would be a safe bet were so dried out we couldn’t finish the portion. Milkshake was meant to be salted caramel but was more like plain caramel. Very unimpressed.

Honestly love this place. Have visited a few times as a quick break from a shopping trip! Sit down and you’ll have a huge slice of pizza and a beer in front of you in minutes and it tastes great!

Popped in after a show. Very casual, no need to book, superb pizza. Grandma’s pie was delicious...so much so I now make a homemade version at home! Son doesn’t eat pizza (strange child) but lots of other choices of grills, sandwiches, salad, chips, pasta etc.

My friends and I were on our way to see a show and popped in here to grab a quick bite to eat. This place was right across the road from the show so very handy. We let the server know we didn't have long. Our server was American and very kind, bubbly and friendly. There where five of us. Three ordered pizza, one pasta and one two orders of wings. Pizza came right away and one wings it then took about 10 to 15 mins for the pasta and second wings to arrive. We found out the pasta wasn't put through on the order and they were sorting it right away. It was taken off the bill and last wings still arrived after the pasta and we immediately asked for the bill. We all ate seperatly which wasn't ideal and the last orders to arrive had to eat in a rush to make the show.

He estado allí la semana pasada, probé por primera vez en mi vida lo que ellos llaman "bola de lasaña". Literalmente es la forma de una bola de pan de migajas y viene en una salsa de tomate fanstastic. Tienes que probar. La pizza es por lo que son famosas ... así que tuve mi típica margherta. Excelente mozzarella, sabrosa salsa de tomate y muy buena masa.

It took over an hour for our food to arrive. When it arrived it was very average pizza and pasta, some cold, some lukewarm. Definitely not worth the wait, very disappointed 👎

The Butcher Shop slice and wet fries were great. Only made better by the window seats overlooking Charing Cross on a Saturday night. Annabel - best wishes for continued success!!

went here for a 20" pizza challenge for 3 but had 7 altogether eating, we arrived at just 6pm on a Thursday night. The staff were friendly and showed us to our table.

I stopped for a quick snack and the pizzas looked delicious. I had a slice of pitmaster and the meat was so tender, there just wasn't enough of it up to the edges. Base was a little too crispy and I think this must be from reheating it.

Terrible attitude from staff. Miserable and rude supervisor who should be setting an example to her team mates. I raised this with her and she was very standoffish, she even asked the customer next to me how her service was and he replied she was 'angry'. I understand it's busy (but not all tables were full) however she did not exude the positivity and respect a supervisor should have and nor did she smile once.

Tried 2 slices. The butcher shop and Pit master. Both slices had very little topping. What there was present seemed tasty but it was just so sparse. Minimal time in the oven too so bread was very light and the toppings not particularly browned. Hard to believe our US cousins would tolerate this as so called authentic NY pizza.

My husband wanted to have lunch here as he used to go to NY Fold in Manhattan in his 20s. I'd never come across it & was happy to eat some pizza. We ate super early on a Saturday and only one other table was taken. The music playing was 80s and loud enough you had to shout talk across the table. I didn't ask the staff to lower the volume as I appreciate others enjoy this vibe. The staff were fine, we were welcomed and asked to pick wherever we wanted to sit. They took our order easily, helped us choose what we wanted etc food arrived within 10 mins. The pizza tasted just fine. I prefer thin crust, this was only slightly thicker than that and very "bready", which I like, like freshly baked loaf bread. The toppings were out of a tin, mushroom & ham. Not really what I was expecting but, as I say, for a quick, no fuss mild bite to eat, it was what it was. I wouldn't make an effort to come back but I wouldn't refuse to eat at a NY Fold again. A couple things that really weren't great were the congealed food particles on some of the cutlery available - gross. Staff obviously not inspecting the cleanliness of these and only using dishwasher to wash them after use. The toilets were in a bad state. No soap at both sinks, no paper or working hand dryer. Seems quite basic, especially for a restaurant on a weekend day in Central London.

This pizza is totally tasteless. It doesn't matter how much stuff you put on top, if the cheese does not have any taste. Very bad though, but I was expecting from an American pizza

I don't usually stop for pizza when I am traveling, but I decided to stop here as I was really hungry and didn't have it in me to explore more. I was happy I stopped as the pizza here is really good. They have a decent selection and make a NY style pizza like it should be. The staff is really friendly. The one downfall is the price. The price for a slice is really expensive compared to what you would get in NY or the states. Other than that I recommend NY Fold.

Popped in for a Pizza before the musical and would agree with others saying it's not the best pizza but ok. Large slices but imo too much cheese, not quite enough tomato base! I wanted the Spicy Italian pizza but this came with Parmesan and I only eat Mozzarella cheese ended up disappointed and opting for what I thought was a bland Pepperoni pizza. Price wise, pretty much what you would expect in London!

Pizza like supposed to be . 1 pizza fed 3 of us . Very good , very tasty and brilliant service. Definitely we will come back

We were in London for business and pleasure(theatre). Stumbled on NY Fold on coming out of Foyle's. Great pizza for a great price. The staff were friendly and attentive. We went back, it was so good.

So yummy New York style pizza! The place is nice with artistic decor, good prices also and smiley stuff but the best part of all is the pizza : delicious!!!

We called in on the way back to the station after a London show. Pizza slices were huge and reasonably priced. Delicious!!

Not worth waiting ages for. I waited 15 minutes for one slice and the chef was getting really stressed. Just go to McDonald’s.

I visited NY fold with a few friends for lunch. The whole place was very disorganised and we ended up just stood waiting for 5 mins in an empty restaurant before anyone asked if they could help.

Tasty pizza was tasty. Its hard to find a good pie in London but I'm glad I found this place. Will be back!

Called here for a slice of pizza. I decided to eat it inside. Service was terrible as I had to wait while the staff finished a lengthy conversation between themselves. I just stood and waited. The conversation continued while I was being served. When the pizza arrived it was literally the worst pizza I've eaten. Reheated way too much it was scolding hot (a customer before me complained about this too) and when I could finally eat it the bottom was hard and crunchy and cut my mouth, and the topping was sickly sweet. Been meaning to try this place for a while but I shouldn't have bothered. Never again.

On my first visit in February I thought the pizza was amazing. This time not so much.

Definitely recommend for pizza lovers, stumbled across this when trying to find a bite to eat and have visited on every trip to London ever since!! Absolutely perfect pizza, the New York Way, and being vegetarian that’s only going by the 3/4 vegetarian options they have out of a reasonable menu. Only downside is the service could be better, generally takes a while for everything, your order, food, bill and on our last visit we ordered to take away for the first time and wasn’t even spoken to while we waited (we were the only ones in the shops). Other than that it is a really great find

Came across this place by chance and what a great find it was! A genuinely friendly American lady seated us and took our order, unfortunately she finished her shift before we’d finished eating and so we didn’t get a chance to say thank you.

The one "vegetarian" option does not seem to be vegetarian. It states that it has parmesan, which is not a vegetarian cheese (it has rennet), and when I asked about this I was told that it was not actually parmesan technically but gran padano. The problem is that gran padano is also not vegetarian for the same reason, despite their assurances. So there is no vegetarian option despite their claims. For the quality of the food itself I've no idea, since there was nothing I could eat.

En un reciente viaje a Londres que realmente nos apetecía una porción de pizza (meses en una dieta hará que a usted). Encontramos desde una búsqueda de Google NYfold y quería probarlo. Ahora, estoy alguien con apetito, así que decidimos ir con su escala de hambre de 2 rebanadas de ir. Optamos por caliente italiano y carnicería. Estos cortes son grandes! Pero tan delicioso. Tuve que renunciar a comer la corteza, ya que era demasiado para mí, en fin, Personalmente prefiero el calor italiano como las verduras ayudó algo añadido textura y sabor. La carnicería (mientras que un ávido carnívoros) era demasiada carne para mí (que no me quejo en absoluto, pero sólo opinión personal). El servicio era excelente. Pensando en lo que tienen la próxima vez que estoy en Londres y pueden optar por una de sus opciones para vegetarianos, pero todos ellos de sonido increíble. Lo que mi objetivo para al menos probar uno de cada sector.

Decent enough pizzas but would say they were special. considering the location, I cant complain too much about the price, there are definitely better places but at the same time, this place wasnt bad. the pizzas, albeit, not out of this world, will not disappoint.

The closest thing to NYC pizza I’ve had in the UK. Think of Homer Simpson or Joey Tribbiani and you know the kind of pizza I’m talking about here. Massive slices, piping hot and gorgeously messy to eat (even if you fold it the right way).

The place was dead, my friends and I came as a group and we're laughing and having a nice time, until the waitress decided to shush us. Then the waitresses proceeded to continue with the poor service by rudely saying 'excuse me!" When giving us our food. We were given dirty looks by them constantly, no service with a smile whatsoever. We decided we did not want to pay the OPTIONAL service charge; but the lady charged my card for it without giving me the option, I asked for it back and she told me I should of asked beforehand, but the menu states that the service charge is optional so I requested it back and she gave the loudest sigh and shoved the money in my hand. I explained I should not have to explain that I Didn't want to pay service charge but she had already pressed 'Yes ' on the card machine.

Habiendo vivido en Europa por más de 8 años no te pierdas este sencillo nicety que tenemos en los Estados Unidos y fue estupendo ver un restaurante de Londres que le da una oportunidad.

We visited NY Fold in Soho 26/05/2018, I had recommended it as a place to go for goodbye drinks as our friend was leaving to go back home to Taiwan for good and I had been there previously.

Visited this pizza place for dinner takeaway as I had a whole day of shopping and wanted to just get back to my hotel to rest with some dinner.

Visited after the Army Vs Navy Rugby Match in need of a good feed. Pizza was delicious, really Crispy Base and loaded with Awesome Toppings. Also tried the Chorizo Ravioli which was pretty good. I did feel the Service could have been friendlier and a bit more Personal. Worth a Visit overall.

I'm more of a lover of the classic thin crust pizza, but as an all American alternative this was pretty good. The toppings are plentiful, although there is a was a little too much cheese (I didn't think that was possible), and the options broad. Unfortunately, the service let down the experience, quite hard to get their attention sometime, and I had to go to the counter to actually pay the bill as nobody brought the card machine over too me.

Posiblemente la mejor pizza que he probado! Visitamos este fin de semana con nuestra hija de 8 años durante un largo fin de semana en Londres y me encantó. El personal es encantador, la comida fabulosa y un gran servicio. ¿Qué más puedes pedir? Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en Londres y se lo recomendaría a cualquiera.

Absolutely fantastic all round standards. local delivery and to the bar next door but one. Compton Cross. So you can have a drink, watch the show and have a pizza delivered in.. Love it

Llamé en mi cama plegable para dos rebanadas de pizza para llevar durante el fin de semana santa (Domingo) y aunque la pizza era muy agradable, el servicio era una basura! Pedí dos distintos cortes de pizza del variedad que tenían en oferta y esperamos por mi orden. Una vez que conseguí mi pedido y lo llevó fuera, me di cuenta de que uno de los cortes fue el mal, así que un salto atrás en la tienda para explicar la confusión. Sin embargo, el personal no era muy complaciente. Un hombre (que estaba cocinando la pizza) tomó la caja conmigo y procedió a hablar con sus compañeros en otro idioma sin tanto como respuesta a mí. Los estados tres personal parecía tener un corto argumento aparentemente en otro idioma antes de concesiones que tenían en realidad un error. Para los próximos 5 a 10 minutos, me encontraba escuchando ellos pelearme, aún sin que nadie disculparse o explicando lo que estaba sucediendo, me proporcionó dos nuevas rebanadas de pizza (la orden correcta esta vez) y enviado en mi camino! Errores pero la manera en que fue atendido por el personal era pobre y yo no recomendaría el lugar como resultado.

Tenía una visita tarde noche a NY después de ver un juego plegable cerca. Selección pizza era genial - base agradable y buena calidad coberturas crujientes. No logramos terminar nuestras pizzas, pero eran fácilmente capaces de llevar las sobras para disfrutar más tarde.

Imagine I'm a jolly northerner down in the Big Smoke for a big day out looking to get an authentic slice of the American dream, or New York pizza if you will. Imagine my delight then when I read about NY fold, a pizza outlet that serves pizza by the slice in an authentic New York way. Having never been to the Big Apple I was delighted to try this gastronomic tour de force amid positive reviews. The pizza on offer looked promising, I had a meaty one and she had a veggie one. 2 slices and 2 drinks around £14... clearly New York plus London prices! What a time to be alive!

Great pizza! Glad my daughter noticed this place. Most places around here seem to close early. This hit the spot!

Had dinner last night and it is fast becoming one of my favourite places for a casual dinner. We are avid theatre goers and usually don't have a lot of time for food between shows, but here the service and hospitality is awesome. We were brilliantly looked after here yesterday and the food is superb.

My partner and I love pizza and we’re excited to discover this place while visiting London. The service was wonderful, quite personal and fun. The pizza’s were all delicious (We went for the all you can eat option) we tried 7 different variations and each one was so tasty... can not wait to visit again next time we are in London!!

Loved the visit today. Monday night all you can eat pizza is fantastic, a sample of various pizzas from their menu. Not only a bargain, but the best pizza I’ve tasted in a long time.

Great location to theatre land. Popped in for dinner prior to seeing a show. We ordered a variety of different pizzas which were all tasty, fresh and hot. Slices were bigger than expected. 2 slices were a push! Staff were friendly and restaurant was clean. Good price for what we had.

I have to say this place was just what the doctor ordered. Gave me a chance to sit down, catch up on my emails etc. and the cherry on top was to get a slice of NY style pizza.

Had our American football team Christmas meal there, so a big hungry group! The staff were all great and super accommodating to us! Couldn't have been happier! Oh, and the pizza was delicious!

Un lugar fantástico para un bocado rápido en el almuerzo o después del trabajo. Variedad imaginativa de pizzas, pero sin pasarse. La base y corteza es realmente para morirse. Sin duda uno de los mejores lugares de pizza en el centro de Londres de la OMI.

Se recomienda la orden de empezar con pequeñas, como sus raciones son enormes! Una gran relación calidad-precio y sabrosa comida. Muy abundante debido a porciones y la masa. Cometí el error de pedir mucha comida!

Had a craving for New York style pizza which is tough to find anywhere outside of NY. Saw NYFold on TA so gave it a shot. Slices were definitely about what you'd expect in terms of size, crust was slightly tough but still really good. One of the better pizzas I've had outside of NY. Also had real mozzarella cheese sticks (10 in a serving) that are tough to find in London. Will be back. Food prices weren't bad but beer/wine prices seemed higher than the average place.

Muy buena pizza y no es cara, es una muy buena opcion psra comer algo rico y rapudo en Londres. Además la atención es muy buena

Enorme con interesantes opciones de pizzas - Sirve por encima o por porción. A un precio muy razonable. Sin embargo, tuvimos un pequeño problema con las bebidas - no hay café descafeinado, té y el americano probado grave. . . .

Aparentemente este lugar está de moda, así que es un lugar poco probable para una pareja mayor celebrando un cumpleaños de los niños. Fue muy bueno. Comimos una pizza para el almuerzo de 20", lo cual era más que suficiente para los 4. La pizza era fresca y muy buena, de hecho recuerda a nueva york. Servicio ws bueno la única pega era muy pobre para que el restaurante Café se disculpó y retiró el coste de la factura. Hay que destacar que un 10% de cargo por servicio se agrega automáticamente a la factura.

Desde irse a Londres desde NUEVA YORK, hemos estado en la búsqueda de buena pizza. Habíamos leído sobre NY doblar y finalmente probado este fin de semana. La pizza no decepcionó y nos rebobinar sobre nuestra pizza antiguo de Nueva York. Usted puede ordenar por porción o una tarta. Nos dieron una tarta y era enorme! Las coberturas eran abundantes y tan fresco. Recomiendo encarecidamente el vegetariano o pollo Parm. Lo más importante, la corteza era increíble. Que a todas las coberturas y era un buen equilibrio de crujientes y suaves (no pasada! ! ).

Visited here as a group of four before heading to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which is literally about 50 yards away!

We were looking for something to eat after seeing a theatre show and had read good things about NY Fold. As you buy by the slice we chose a selection of four flavours and all were really tasty (much better than a whole pizza of just one flavour). The slices are pretty big, so two each were really filling - definitely wouldn't have managed any more. The bases were cooked perfectly, so even when loaded with toppings they remained crispy and didn't get soggy and floppy. We would definitely go back.

Mi hija y yo fuimos a este restaurante hace una semana y me encantó. Nos encantó la pizza, la masa era deliciosa y las coberturas son únicas y nada como lo que te dan en los restaurantes de cadena. El servicio fue excelente y sin duda volveremos a visitar.

AMAZING !!!! Afternoon , passing by Charing Cross Road I couldn't notice there was a place there selling so incredible Pizzas. Front of the Restaurant is dark you could easily miss. To be honest what I notice before was a yellow bike right in front of the Place. Entered and an incredible smell of fresh Pizza came to my nose. Wow !! I asked a whole 20 inches Butcher Shop and it was just unbelievable. Me and some friends totally had 2 x 20" and we had a great time there with a service also ( Thanks to a gorgeous lady Roxy ) . She was always helping us.Recommend

Just visit Restaurant after a tired day of shopping and pizza was incredibly filling. Wonderful slice piece of heaven. Also, my friend tried the Pasta gnocchi and was not just perfect was also really big.Recommend to all hungry people.

It's such a shame as this place looked so promising but I can't find one nice thing to say about this restaurant.The pizza was ok; a bit bland and had the taste of reheated pizza.The menu looked great for a vegetarian, but when my pizza arrived I was very happy disappointed to see a blanket of Parmesan cheese all over it. All the pizzas come sprinkled with Parmesan (as I was told by 2 members of staff...however on the website they claim it is a sprinkling of mozzarella) so if you are vegetarian think again about eating here- I was left with the only option of margherita which tasted like a frozen pizza. The staff were totally inflexible in acknowledging that Parmesan and pecorino cheeses are not vegetarian and said that there are no vegetarian pizzas for me to eat and were unwilling to make any without Parmesan. Staff were frosty and uninterested.

What a great spot for pizza! I had been before and have to say the quality of food and service have got even better. If you like top quality US pizza with the warmest welcome this is the place for you. Can't wait to return.

Knew this place before entering to a West End theatre play in London. Portions of pizza ranging from 4,75 to 6,75 pounds. A couple of them is enough both for adults or kids. Good wifi, good service. Visa and Mastercard available.

The quality of the pizzas here have always been of the highest qualityNever once has the service or the foo been anything other than exceptional and the bases/crusts are still 1 of my faveAs always, I cannot wait to go back!

Me and my wife during last week had the opportunity to visit three times this Restaurant. Pizza was amazing ( specially Butcher Shop ) . Also, we tried their lovely fresh pastas and they are amazing .A special thanks to a lady who served us one of the times , Annabelle. She was more than great.

When it comes to pizza, I’ve been round the block a bit, and it takes a lot for me to state that a pizza is so nice it’s the best I’ve ever had. I discovered this place online and decided to go to London just to see what it was like based on photos and mixed reviews, I’m not one to make judgement until I’ve seen and eaten it for myself. NYFold is such a lovely, tasteful well run restaurant and right next to made.com aswell so perfect combo when walking through Shaftesbury Avenue and then up Charing cross road . Can’t believe I’ve walked past this place so many times without stopping just to go to Pizza Hut as our default when in a rush. Just have to say owner and staff are beyond welcoming, just lovely bunch of people, We had a 16inch with Chicken Parm on one side and butcher shop on the other, don’t know which side was better, I’m not one for oils but the garlic oil just made it even better, the base was perfect (take tips pizza express) not to dry, to overly oily, no flour or cornmeal stuck to the base or burnt bits which drive me crazy, it had a lovely rise, and perfect for folding, I could tell the cheese had been aged which gave it a lovely tang, the fact my family were silent for the first time all day was proof of how good it was, don’t know what pizza the other negative reviewers ate but the ingredients were just Mmmmmmm, no words to describe reminded me of eating several different dishes in the form of pizza like a meatloaf / steak / lasagna, just had so many flavors. I can always tell a good pizza if the crust goes first. If the lovely owner franchises NYFold and expands, Pizza Hut and Dominoes are in for big trouble!! Especially if they add a NY influenced stuff crust for a base option.
