Nu Nosh in Barnet

A very popular local eatery in Temple Fortune. This is a very well run establishment and is always busy. The food is very tasty and well priced. The shakshuka id superb and their falafels delicious. Good coffee and fresh mint tea available. Charming staff. I am there at least once a week.

I have been there today to start a lovely sunny day with my partner but there made us unhappy. Breakfast was very bad taste and didn't cooked well, the price was too much, although they charged £210 but it wasn't fair service. I don't recommend breakfast at here. Thanks

Just ordered a chicken with pita and a chicken burger on delivery. The chicken smelled off and the chicken burger was burn’t and dry. Honestly you should not be charging for food of this poor quality its an absolute disgrace! I will never order from this restaurant ever again. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

We went with friends for Sunday brunch recently, and were very pleased: the café/restaurant followed covid requirements, frontage fully open, staff wore face coverings, surfaces wiped as needed, Our meals were just what we wanted - for a Full English, you ordered the Basic Breakfast and added extras as required. Two of our number added mushrooms, spinach, avocado and bacon. One of us had a burger, Coffee was excellent.We all agreed that for under £46 including service this was an excellent experience, and we'll go again.

We have discovered Nu Nosh in lockdown and are happily working our way through the menu. Last night we tried the burgers - beef for me, chicken for her, both delicious. Previous highlights have included the shakshuka (mmm), steaks (yum), chicken dinners (wow) and chicken soup (slurp). And don’t even start me on the freezochinos! Genuinely been impressed and happy with everything we’ve tried so far and are looking forward to trying more. Also, we ask for the food to be delivered at a certain time (e.g. 6:30pm), and they have always turned up to within a couple of minutes of that time - most impressive. Oh and the sweet potato fries were the best I’ve ever had (and I’m not usually a sweet potato fries man).

Today, my family and I had brunch at the Hendon branch of Nu Nosh (cannot find on Tripadvisor) so thought I would review here. It was recommended by a South African friend - and so pleased we discovered it. Lovely friendly, warm, modern decor and great welcome. The menu goes from sandwiches, burgers, pita's, salads, breakfast dishes to rotisserie grills. Amongst our group we enjoyed omelettes, shakshuka, avocado on toast - with extras of Israeli salad and boerewors. To drink - tea, coffee and a delicious apple/pear/ginger smoothie! We will be back.

Food is excellent here with an amazing choice and lively atmosphere would have given it a higher rating but cafe is not very Covid secure. They are not taking names and diners moving about in cafe not wearing masks and not being challenged by staff and it is noisy so people raising their voices. Best to sit outside weather permitting

Hendon doesn’t have a huge amount to offer for eateries so this is a great addition. Been for lunch a couple of times, had an enormous falafel pita with salad, and probably the best chai latte I’ve ever had. Staff are lovely, very accommodating (and they take Amex!). Decor is fresh and bright, plenty of social distancing. Big and varied menu, fresh salads are great. And 10% off for uni staff and students! We’ll be back 😊

Got a takeaway Falafel Pita from here as my usual was closed but I have driven past here a few times - really not great which is a shame as it looks pretty outside but there are much better options if you're looking for a Pita locally.

I recently got a takeaway from the new site in Hendon and was really disappointed. The boss led me to believe that he was giving me some stuff on the house but I realised afterwards he’d charged me for it. The burger was undercooked and the chicken was so drenched in tahini that I couldn’t taste anything. Sides were average and at over 35 quid for two I would not go back there. There is plenty of competition around there and much of it represents much better value. Avoid.

Last night we had a takeaway from the Hendon branch ...... our first in months and our first with Nu Nosh.. OMG absolutely fabulous ....no complaints what so ever . I am not the meat eater but my husband has been raving about his burger with cheese and I can enthuse about the falafel in pita ...with a hummus side . Fab ,totally amazing AND only down the road .... what more could you want on a Friday night !!! Thank you so much ... I have to say how the whole take away package is presented is so very very appealing in brown recyclable boxes , in a brown paper bag .......simply perfection .. so thank you Cory and thank you Chris for a fab , superb casual dining experience ........ good luck and we will see you very soon

Small, intimate restaurant on the main road..., ideal for breakfast, lunch or tea. Superb, friendly, accommodating staff and excellent for babies/ children. Would recommend booking in advance as very popular and busy.

Been coming here for ages. Interesting and wide ranging menu for lights meals, nice staff and good cooking. I’d previously give it a 5 star rating but today noticed how filthy it’s become. Filthy skirtings, dirty floor, finger marks on doors, grime on chair legs, grubby toilet. If the infrastructure is so dirty, I wonder about hygiene. They need to close for long weekend and bring in the heavy cleaning squad ... and then back to five stars. Avoid the 12 to 1 slot if you don’t like hearing little children enjoying themselves!

This is a popular little place with pretty generous portions but for some reason they can't cook eggs. This is the second time I've been and on both occasions both myself and my companion had to send our dishes back as the poached eggs (cooked in what looks like a microwave poacher) were hard and the fried eggs were burnt. Real shame as it had such potential.

Excellent restaurant, the menu is very diverse and is full of healthy options. The grilled vegetables with quinoa salad is to die for, also the smoothies and ice coffee and better than most specialised places. I wish they could open this restaurant in more places

Terrible service... Mediocre salads, although when i'm paying £13 for salad, I don't expect to be served a shredded ball of iceberg lettuce !

This is my local cafe as I live 10 minutes away. I come here every time I have a day off together with my boyfriend. It is a perfect place for a late brunch or breakfast, lovely atmosphere inside, and they have cute tables outside....

Very friendly staff and lovely cooked breakfast. Recommend the South African sausages (borewors). Child friendly staff as well which is very important for any family!
