The place is just insane. Loads os varieties of games and space for chilling. Extra for the staff. Start with the security just a welcome environment to the guys behind the bar Well recommended:)

Visited with a friend last week. Really cool decor the whole place feels like a different dimension where time passes differently. The cocktails are seriously awesome, but you’ll pay for it, it’s a pricey night out. Loads of vintage arcade cabinets. My friend told me a member of male security was consistently coming over and chatting to her whenever I was away (at bar, toilet, etc) and she got the impression he was being flirty and that this made her a little uncomfortable. Unfortunately there was little atmosphere from the other guests, pretty dead. Although it was a Monday so it’s to be expected.

We were served by a lovely girl called Eva. Highly recommended lovely atmosphere and the staff are amazing. Eva made the experience even more special!

Arrived at 7 but we didn’t actually get served at the bar until 7.25. Some of the machines clearly need attention and have broken buttons/sticking buttons. This place was very busy by 8pm, and we never even went back for our second drinks at the bar because it was so packed. It was about 15 rows of people deep. My partner didn’t appreciate some random guy physically grabbing her by the shoulders whilst she was playing one of the games either. Left without finishing using up our tokens it was that disappointing. This place isn’t an arcade bar, it’s a sticky night club with some arcade machines. You’ll find a much better place round the corner.

Great place to enjoy your night with plenty games for a bit of competition and have a laugh. Great selection of cocktails with some good package deals

Very sketchy door staff. Avoid at all costs. Run by amateur's. Sad really. Be careful.

Doorman actively tried to fight me meet upon entry. Not “not tonight”. Actively invaded personal space and tried to initiate a fist fight. Had to ask reason behind refusal of entry. Note that this isn’t the first time there have been issues with doormen. Disgraceful. Edit: Virtue Signalling response from owners. Already emailed about this. Some limited interaction with no outcome.

Wandered in with a friend for a beverage, ended up staying all evening. Atmosphere was trippy, Cocktails were peak, Barstaff, Hannah, was amazing company, door staff were chatty and friendly as well. Definitely recommend, looking forward to visiting again Xx

What a rip 0ff Firstly played a simple basketball arcade game, which there was no indication of how much it was costing,you tap your card for two players it came to £4 and it was the same throughout Absolute con.

Great place, didn't try/ don't know if they did food, cool vibe... Bouncer was a bit strict for an arcade, and was very off putting on the door unfortunately

The staff in here is 10/10. Recommending various drinks, games etc. Extremely passionate about various cocktails and recommend various styles Would highly recommend and would return soon

An excellent bar for retro game lovers, the decoration is amazing, the games varied and fun and themed cocktails are always good. There's even a few free to play consoles that people tend to stay aware of people waiting for their turn. Always come here if we're spending the night in Glasgow

hi, I would like to lodge a complaint regarding your door staff. Myself and 2 friends tried to get into your venue on the 25th October with a pre-booking for 00:30 to 01:30. The bouncer on the door refused us entry due to us 'having too much to drink' when in fact we hadn't. Your terms and conditions say management refuses the right to grant entry but this bouncer was not management. we just wanted to have some drinks and play a few arcade games but the power trip bouncer didn't allow us entry. I could understand if we were very drunk but wee weren't and if you have security footage I'm sure that can be confirmed. Overall very disappointed in the service and I've never had this problem in your manchester locations so bot sure why glasgow was any different. left us with a Sour taste in our mouth and would not recommend this location

I love a trip to NQ64. This is probably my third visit. We got there for opening and within half an hour it was quite busy. Head straight to the bar for drinks and arcade tokens and then have a great time. I’d advise booking a booth if you plan on staying a while.

Hi there, Just have to write a review ...... my name is Sarah, I stupidly came into your venue on the morning of the 22nd of August......I was trying to get shelter from the rain, as I was homeless as I had left my husband and the police and other services were fully aware of the fact that I was not going back to my husband, your doorman said it was open until 3am and that the entry was FREE.....But then once I got inside the doorway, I seen a massive flight of stairs ....after your doorman insisted that I leave my case at the main door, behind a flimsy barrier......I was going to leave but three other guests to the venue insisted on helping me.....a male took my case and I walked down the stairs one by one sideways like a crab.......NO ONE mentioned a lift......to cut a long story short....your bar staff a male and female came and checked on me and asked if I was OK......I told them that I had no where to go but that I would be OK......they took my ID my disabled bus pass has my previous name on it and I gave them my bank card which has my new married name on it......they tried to give me £20....which I refused but on arriving back in my husbands flat after being terribly manhandled by two police officers....one male at my right under are and a female under my left arm.....they kept calling me a liar and my bags were taken from me and searched I think by the door staff??? I have reported this online to the police and my husband called the police as soon as he seen the horrendous bruises including clear finger prints ....especially on my right under arm......All I did wrong .....was to stupidly go into your venue under ill informed lack of advice about there being a lift !!!! I can't add photos of the venue as I did not have my phone.....it was left at the flat.....its only use is as a camera in anycase as I have been cut off months ago.....

I spent almost a grand here last year and I only went a few times. It's my favourite place ever.

Great nostalgia with the arcade machines. A drinks menu which pulls out all the stops to make it a truly immersive experience. Thoroughly recommended.

Marley and Lauren went above and beyond. Amazing service from both of them. They both made me and my party of three feel special engaging in conversation and slinging perfect pints and cocktails. When I come back I pray that Marley and Lauren are my servers because they absolutely made the night. The best bar keeps I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to.

The music in NQ64s are far too loud. This was the case in both this one and Edinburgh. You don't have this volume at a nightclub, so why here? Puts us off going back.

Lovely date night spot! We pre-booked for a package including tokens and cocktails and it was well worth it! The selection of drinks was great and we loved the themed cocktails! There is a brilliant selection of classic arcade games to choose from, and the package we bought left us with plenty of tokens to use on the machines. The staff were lovely and friendly and we had a super fun evening!

Just walked up to the door and was met with an aggressive security guard who mocked my friends dyspraxia because “he can’t walk in here like that” absolute disgrace I’m appalled at the service of this and will never give this organisation my money again. Really really poor service

After an afternoon and evening in Glasgow, my friend suggested this place...I had never been before. What an absolute surprise. We enjoyed a few drinks and bought a rew rounds of tokens. Admittedly, my arcade skills have not improved much since the early 90s but still didn't stop the fun. Great selection of games, which I remember playing fondly when I was younger (although I had hoped for the old WWF arcade machine) but can't really fault this place. Music was excellent, was served fast at the bar and looking forward to my next return.

First time here after popping into Edinburgh one shortly after opening. We got in around 10.30 and it was quite quiet but filled up over the course of the hour. Lots of games to choose from, consoles are free to play, but tend to be filled up. Pints are around £5 and you can get 15 tokens for £8 (games range from 1-2 tokens)

The owner seems to be a cheeky see you next tuesday. Imagine getting wide in the comments of reviews for your business 🤣 Glasgow man.

Great wee arcade not as many games as I thought there would be but some classics in there. Definitely be back.

Fun night out for people who enjoy games and club atmospheres. They have free to play consoles with emulated games on them that you and your friends can play multiplayer.

Well, after the horrible greeting from the awful little front door guy for 5 minutes at 8.45pm (which almost made us not bother going in). For the type of venue you are, who I believe your the target audience is, our ages (35 - 42) and at the time of day it was to be grilled like that immediately put me off. Once you get inside it is OK. Cocktails are promoted more than anything else about £10 each (they are nice enough with some being an alcoholic play on soft drinks). The biggest sting is that to play any arcade machine you need to buy tokens. Tokens cost like £8 for 15 and most games bar driving and gun games costing 1 token each per play. It would be nice if drinks came with some tokens each. A couple of the machines were broken, some were a little glitchy but overall they were fine. This might just be an older thing but the music is just to darn loud. Also the mens toilets were pretty gross (though it was a Saturday night in Glasgow, so pretty standard). I had been looking forward to this after friends had visited the Edinburgh one and recommended it. Unfortunately I will not be back, no matter what the venue had been like due to the immediate bad impression the guys on the front door give you. This is the lowest review score I have given anywhere, almost all because of the door staff. They ruined my night. I hope you take this into account.

Great wee place for a night out

Love this place but the only down side is that the machines don't seem to be properly maintained as they seem to stay broken. The staff are nice and the music is really good but the acarde machines are the only downside.

Me and a few mates went in here just to unwind with some old school arcade games and have a few drinks. The cocktail menu is varied and there are plenty of games to choose from in a really vibrant setting. First time i have been in here and really enjoyed it, can't fault it at all.

Fantastic basement bar/club full of retro arcade games, in-house dj and cocktails. Had a great night out here filled with some nostalgia. However, some of the games could really do with a bit of tlc and recalibration as the controls didn't work properly

Waited like 30 mins to get on guitar hero to find all the best song take as much as 8 tokens to play. Very expensive arcade.

This place was a blast! The cocktails are amazing, the whole vibe of the place is great! It was a lot of fun, there were many people. The atmosphere is the best of it all. Would definitely go here again if I find myself in Glasgow.

It has a great atmosphere but was way too busy on a Saturday night- so you bought tokens but couldn’t get near the machines you wanted to spend them! Ended up giving some away and keeping some for next time. Loved the neon though and the choice of games.

A great experience! Drinks were kinda expensive but on a par with other places in the area. Such brilliant decor and interior, staff were friendly and drinks were great! Game machines were a lot of fun too. A definite must visit if you've never been before

The atmosphere was great and the drinks and tokens were reasonably well priced. Some of the games just ate up your tokens but apart from that no complaints.

Arcades are old and could do with some renewal. Thought place was alright but the night took a turn when some blue haired boy thought I 'flipped him off' when I simply asked if my payment had gone through. My party of 5 was then asked to leave. We asked why and we were all so confused with their reply. I think he has some idea in his head about me, or was recently done for someting ridiculous. Which was really annoying as I was just being friendly. First drink of the night was bit annoying. Would suggest if you go in avoid blue haired boy!

Had a Great night at NQ64 would give 5 stars to the place and the staff. However the bouncers where not too friendly, seems like they where looking for an excuse to get into our personal space. Followed my friend into the toilet for no reason. Then after stood behind us while we played guitarhero breathing down our necks. Made us all feel a little uncomfortable for no reason. All the other staff where great a friendly the cocktails where gaming themed and tasted great and a reasonable price. Great selection of arcade games and set up old consoles with loads of games. Will go back hopefully have diffrent door staff next time

Loved this place. We were worried this would be too young for us and whilst it obviously attracts a young crowd still felt mixed ages if you go earlier when it opens at 7pm. All the games were a blast from the past. Loved the mix of the arcades and consoles, reasonable price for 15 tokens to have a play on a few of the arcades then move to the consoles which were free. Music and atmosphere brilliant. Bar prices reasonable. It's easy to get distracted so would just keep eye on drinks, phone, bag etc but that was just me being cautious and getting lost in the games rather than anything that happened. I would recommend midweek as going when quieter means you'll get to try most games without waiting. Only feedback for venue is maybe dot some hand sanitiser around (especially post COVID) just with everyone pawing the same games and controllers it could feel a bit icky.

Great place for drinks and loved all the vintage games

Glasgow's famous for it's basement bars and it's a great idea having a neon drenched arcade bar to venture into. There's allsorts on offer from racers to shooters and you can pick up tokens at the bar to use along with a series of pop culture related cocktail which are quite tasty. It's refreshing that you can play games but at the same time enjoy a drink as well. It's also good fun as well especially when you discover arcade games that you never realised were a thing!

A fun, Instagram friendly arcade bar with quirky cocktails and lots of old games. You pay for tokens to play most of the machines but they have a few old consoles too which are free to play. Prices are ok. A few machines were out of service and a couple just ate tokens and failed. Staff were helpful and tried to sort though. Service was great all round.

Not much of a review person, but the boy in the backwards baseball bat behind the bar dropping the N bomb about 3 times in five minutes is enough to put me off visiting again, especially after his scoffing when called out by another customer. Not the most welcoming venue on the first place either, probably should have went with my gut at the doors and left.

Great place to hangout with your pals and gets drunk at the same time. The black light interior is cool af and the cocktails are pretty mad! Highly recommended for a place to meet for some guitar hero, mario cart and dance machining 😁 Nintendo games also available and many more other arcade games like Tekken, Simpsons, PaC man etc

Too busy, not really enough variety and pretty expensive for what it is. The idea is cool and it worked in Edinburgh but sadly the Glasgow implementation isn't great. If you're wanting an arcade bar there's another just around the corner that's a bit better

Stocks cans of Lonkero, the only place I've ever seen in the UK that sells it behind a bar. Gets 5* for this alone.
