North Point Tea Rooms & Cafe in Kingston upon Hull, City of

After traipsing around Hull for a dog friendly pub I found this gem. It was quite busy for a Thursday lunchtime but my two well behaved dogs were more than welcomed. The barman got them some water and a dog biscuit each. I enjoyed a long cold Erdinger too. Would have stayed for more if I hadn’t wasted my time looking for such a pub. Nice place, good range of beers, friendly atmosphere and the staff more than helpful.

Absolutely shocking customer service by Jess and her colleague. I had a free voucher for a steak, and was told they'd ran out and refused to offer any other meal as a substitute, or a free drinks, pudding or discount. A serious can't do attitude. I've never encountered such unwillingness to meet a customer half way.

Went in last night (07/09/2024) for the first time before and after our visit to Hull City Hall. Great atmosphere, music was great, had karaoke earlier on around 5.30pm and they were some great singers. Bar staff and doormen friendly and fun, was nice to see them dancing and getting along with customers. Would be on my go-to list on our night out. Zero stars if I could, got a Kiev calzone dough soggy, god knows we're the meat is I'm still looking as I write this, calzone was full of mushrooms. Got the grandson chicken and chips, chicken shocking, chips un eater able way to much seasoning and rock hard. 1st time and last getting from this place. 🤬🤬👎👎

Yummy affordable ££ breakfast, quick service, very lovely friendly staff, clean environment and absolutely great atmosphere- highly recommend! Best cafe so far in Hull!
