We had our football presentation hear, the staff were great, we were also able to add a bouncy castle for the team with no issues at all. I would recommend for a party booking.

I'm from the estate and very rarely use any pubs round here. It's always great and friendly service, no unwanted customers. Entertainment has been great when it's on. Clean and tidy and very well priced

A 1960s Estate pub, the plain exterior doesn't give any clues as to just how nice it is inside. The bar is nicely decorated with a raised, comfortable seating area and also some bar stools. The pool table and dart board are in a separated part of the bar. There is a large separate function room for live acts and events. The choice of beers is the same as most of the pubs around here, no cask conditioned real ale. The staff are friendly, and it's a nice community pub. Dog friendly.

Wedding party, cheap doubles and other drinks alcohol or soft drinks great prices. Lovely staff, nice outdoor seating/smoking area too. Function room and front bar. And Graham is lovely, karaoke and music also. Great night everyone enjoy it and great place too.

Looks rough from the outside, once you step inside it's a totally different story. Nicely decorated, toilets are impeccably clean and the staff are super friendly and most importantly of all they serve a good pint from clean pumps. I shall be visiting again xxx

It's been many years since I visited nightjar and it was a pleasant surprise visiting. I went to a wedding reception and the back room was laid out beautifully for the guests. Overall a really nice place and a friendly atmosphere.

Went to a wedding reception here. The room was beautifully decorated, the buffet was plentiful and we'll presented. The room was perfect in size, we filled it. We all enjoyed the celebrations of the happy wedding. I would highly recommend having a function here.

This was my old local, I chose this place over Drake which was actually closer to my home! The beer is better, the decor is from this decade, it is just a decent estate pub
