Looked these folks up on Google, came highly recommended. Well hidden, up behind Booth's supermarket, found 'em! The fish & chips were gorgeous, huge white flakes of fish, homemade chips, all cooked to perfection! Friendly, chatty folks, do seek them out, you will be so, so glad you did!

A hidden gem but the best fish and chips in Ilkley and beyond. Run by a lovely couple and the perfect fish and chips every time. Limited opening hours because the quality of the product does not necessitate opening all hours to earn a living.

It's not often I get truly impressed by fish & chips, but this certainly ranks as one of my favourites. The fish was pure white, chunky and tasty, with a wonderful batter. Little eating area just infront with 2 tables (weather permitting!). Just a 5 minute walk from Costa, then a 3 minute walk to the river if heading that way. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND and can't wait till my next visit to Ilkley.

This is an absolutely fantastic traditional chippy that is always consistently excellent quality. The husband and wife team are also very friendly.

Without doubt the BEST and l do mean BEST fish l have tasted in years. Always seems to be closed when we drive across to Ilkley but in future l"ll try arrange it when you're open. 100% first class in all respects.

Fine if it's local, but the chips are quite greasy and the fish wasn't fried to order. Delicious piece of fish though. Over a hundred years old, apparently. Grandad Nicol's is quite close and does fish and chips better.

Great chip shop, visit every other Friday, reasonable pricing, goes on holiday too often ( just joking) top marks.
