Anglicised Italian food, giant pepper mill and parmigiano bowl to complete the throwback feel. Amatriciana made with bacon instead of guanciale/pancetta, had red onion instead of chilli, and really lacking in pecorino. Pizza had nice nduja on it, but the mozzarella was cheap (extra cost to get buffalo) and base was something you whip up at home in 2 hours, no flavour, no char, peely wally plain bread. Nice decor, lovely staff, can accomodate gluten free.

I used to goto this restaurant a couple of times a month over a number of years, but had stopped going for a few years due to changed circumstances. I was invited to go there by a family member and was impressed by the business of the place mid week. I had the pizza which was large and just as good as I remembered the others in the party enjoyed what they had just as much as I enjoyed my pizza. I will be returning soon as it was most enjoyable.

Nonna Ginas was a joy to visit from start to finish. The highest compliments must go to the attentive staff (especially Gianni) who treated us to first class service, with a friendly manner. The food was delicious: Risotto Fiorentina and Risotto Elvira, along with tasty garlic bread and fries. The atmosphere was friendly and unobtrusive. We will definitely return to Nonna Ginas soon!

The pizza was received in a mess a mess. I believe is the driver's manner of handling the food. This restaurants is very good and they would have not sent it the way it arrived. The ebtire filling on both pizza were messed up on a pile.

Will never order here again , the pizza is unedable the cheese on it was off it was so bitter and horrible ! The pasta was still hard and ordered spiced chips got plain which werent even cooked properly what a waste of money may aswell have burned 40 pounds infront of my eyes !!

Couldn’t believe my eyes when I seen it on just Eat tonight. This place is my absolute FAVE so was like a wee win. Food was outstanding as always, piping hot, fresh and DELISH! Getting to see my wee Pal Gianni too was an added bonus. Always keeping the spirits up. THANKS GUYS!!

We're just back home after a family meal The food was absolutely delicious all of our meals came piping hot and so fresh. Even the fussy eater said it was lovely!!! So win win. Service was top notch and so was the cheesecake. Can't fault one thing. Definitely worth another visit soon.

Food was OK but my wife's lasagne arrived at the table about 10 minutes after all the other main courses with very little apology offered.

Fantastic restaurant, the best in the southside by a country mile and to top it off, you always recieve a warm welcome from the star man Gianni.

The food was excellent, from the calamari starter to the spaghetti bolognese main and the tiramisu dessert. Everything was fresh, tasty and rich. The service was also outstanding, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Italian cuisine.

First visit. Had a sandwich but very filling and worthy of light lunch. Coffee has a nice smokey aroma.

Never had pizza pizza from here before tonight was a first and I wish I had tried it sooner it is hands down the nicest pizza I’ve ever eaten and I never rave about pizza but this pizza deserves it. So good. If your not sure what to get try the pizza you won’t regret it

Late morning visit for a coffee and cake, felt we were being rushed along to clear table even though place was quite empty. Normally such a relaxed ambience to the place, hopefully better next time

No photos but we ordered the smaller size pasta for lunch and the portion was huge and delicious. I had the penne Al forno with chicken😋

I had my birthday meal at Nonna Gina's and once again a fantastic meal was had by all. Pasta cooked perfectly and pizza was spot on. Only disappointment was no lasagne on menu... it was my favourite dish. I had calzone instead and was really yum, but please bring back lasagne. 😫 Thanks again to all the staff for making it a special day.

Tasty food, good service and nice atmosphere

My sister and I go for tea and cake and the staff and manager are so lovely and accommodating. Friendly chat and superb cake/deserts! Highly recommend this restaurant if you like a relaxed time.

We had a lovely afternoon at Nonna Gina's today. Food was delicious and the coffee is the best I have tasted in a long time! Service was just terrific, not rushed and very attentive, and the staff team are just so lovely and friendly. We sat and had drinks on the terrace outside after lunch and what a wee suntrap! Great place to sit and watch the world go by. Thank you to all the staff at Nonna Gina's for a wonderful afternoon ❤️

First visit, will be visiting again very soon. I went with an Italian friend and Godson, we all enjoyed the food, not far to travel, think we could become regulars. Keep up the good work.

Food is always great. Restaurant had an issue with 2 main course items being incorrect. They remade the incorrect items and brought them round within 20 mins and a free desert included as an apology. Excellent service to make up for error.

Went in for lunch with my partner, both ordered the chicken aribiata which was superb very tasty and chips crispy, perfect wee lunch 10/10 Staff were awesome as always

Staff are very friendly and helpful and menu and food are great ! We enjoy coming here nothing is a hassle to them they are accommodating and will try help with any dietary requirements
