Excellent food, cakes, drinks and coffee, and exceptional service! Really nice atmosphere and overall one of my favourite spots in Macclesfield. They have a plant based / vegan option for almost everything on the menu, but also have veggie and meat dishes now.

Nomas now has a Greek food outlet (Suvlaki pals), we just got a takeaway and it was fantastic! It’s great to be able to get authentic Greek gyros and suvlaki in Macclesfield! The food was lovely, tasty and good quality, was ready right on time, and is good value too. The aubergine dip was gorgeous.

We’ve recently moved in Macclesfield - and this place was on my list to visit for brunch and coffe ! It proved to be the opposite of our expectations - the place looks cool but the food is far under requirements - we’ve ordered the mix grill and a starter with hummus and some aubergine dip . The mix grill meat was smelling weird and uncooked - we didnt even touch it ! The guy that served us forgot to bring water and other drinks at the table ! Really disappointed and we will certainly wont visit that place ever again. !

Only called in for coffees. Very nice place with friendly service and nice atmosphere. Great coffees, hopefully try the food another time

Visited here today for brunch with a friend and was pleasantly greeted by Matthew who was very efficient and super friendly. I chose shaksuka Greco and it was amazing ! Super deco and very nicely laid out with a very chilled atmosphere . Will definitely be here again and would highly recommend people to give this place a try.

Had a great meal here with my friend and can highly recommend this bar! The Greek food is spot on and super tasty - we had the gyros and gemista (stuffed vegetables) and both were delicious! Service was very fast from our lovely young waitress with whom we had a nice chat. Will definitely come here again - bravo sas 👍

Lovely balanced menu for the vegan/veggies and the meat eaters among us. Food really tasty and the young lady serving was helpful and very friendly. Definitely recommend this place if your visiting Macclesfield.

We shared a baklava on Friday afternoon and took 2 slices home. Just eaten then after a "winner winner chicken dinner". OMG!!!!! Awesome! Order it... just order it... regardless of what you thought you'd gone in for

Incredible food and fantastic service. A regular stop when in Macclesfield; especially for a Matcha green latte and flapjack! I also highly recommend the scrambled tofu on toast and the burger for lunch... All in one day if possible.

We went to Nomas Gastrobar for a brunch. I can be an annoying customer because of my intolerances and even though the waiter looked surprised with my questions, he was lovely and very helpful. My poached egg was cooked to perfection and the food was unbelievable taking good care of all my needs. Even the chef came to check if we were happy with the food! Music was great and place spotless and gorgeous! We really recommend the visit! 😊

Came in and ordered got given menus and then we were ignored for 10 mins. Ordered pancakes and a panini. Pancakes were raw and the panini was the temperature of a fridge. The lady behind the counter did apologise and I she did refund our food, won't be back though

This used to have a good vegan menu- it no longer does..there was nothing for us any longer so we left and went up the road to the Monacle(lovely light lunch)

A fantastic little Café tucked away in the centre of Macclesfield

My daughter has always loved it here. Really hoping they bring back the vegan (nut free) chocolate brownie as they're the only cafe in town where Effie can have anything like that!

Lovely place, cosy with quirky decor and lovely owners. Popped in fir a quick bite yo eat and catch-up with a friend. We both had the homemade butternut squash soup and shared some house fries. Really good. Definitely coming back to try the Gyros.

Phenomenal place, definitely worth a visit. On entry I was greeted by a friendly face, who was very polite, helpful and attentive throughout. They took the time to describe some of the options available, and I went with a Chicken Yeero and Mind Smoothie. Rather delicious, and well presented. Quirky setting and decor, lovely place to sit and eat with music in the background at a reasonable level. If I lived closer I would visit regularly. I recommend you give it a try!

Horrible food , everything been deep fried . People having heart attack from this kind of food . You can broke your teeth by trying to eat their toast. Expensive. Very unhealthy. Good atmosphere

Well, never had the chance to taste their food to provide a review as I was kept waiting at the till looking for assistance for about 15 mins while the lady fiddled with her phone/laptop. Left as I didn’t want to wait longer.

Always amazing food and brilliant service

Slow slow slow. Seem low staffed and had to ask several times for drinks and food. You need to have a LOT of spare time to wait. Dips came with so little bread that had to ask twice more to be able to finish the dips. Food and drink were nice but not worth the wait

Lovely cafe, service is excellent and food is amazing, espcially the pizzas. I'm autistic so have issues with noise and bright light but they are always willing to accommodate if I need to move tables or have the lights lowered a touch. Great place, highly recommended. It also takes me 40 minutes to drive here so that should tell its own story about how good it is. Always worth the trip, give it a go.

Great food great coffee. Looked the place up o line while travelling through. Went I there for a coffee and ended up with a breakfast of avocado and toast. I would definitely recommend the meal. Nice decor, good tunes and a relaxed environment to eat well.prepared fresh food. This place caters for vegans, vegetarians and main stream tastes. Thank you to the chef and staff.

My Greek rice dish was 25 percent warm and 75 percent cold. Was not freshly cooked nor was it microwaved to a required temperature to minimise any adverse illness. Overpriced for quality and quatity. Beware. This is my honest and carefully worded revue. I can not comment on the other 6 dishes.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere and comfy seating. My chocolate banana bread was amazing 🤩 and a super yummy iced matcha. Great service and recommendations. The guy serving seemed to really love his job and was very attentive with customers. I'll definitely be returning 💖

Vegans who sell animal products.. lol. The mental gymnastics here are intense. It's like being against slavery but still being ok with selling slaves, just not using them yourself.

The options for vegetarian and gluten free food is unlike anywhere else I have been. The atmosphere is lovely, and the young lady who served us was polite and very helpful. Will definitely be returning and advising Nomas to others!

Lovely panini but it could do with some garnish like a salad. 30 minute wait on our drinks and we had eaten our food already. Disappointed with our visit. Staff were lovely but service was very slow. Especially as they were very quiet.

This is still the best place in Macclesfield for plant-based food . Great service too. Vegans and anyone wanting to sample dishes without animal products should definitely head for Nomas.

The food was really tasty but a very long wait for it to arrive There was a lovely atmosphere and the decor is very stylish but the seating is uncomfortable especially when you have to wait such a long time. It was busy but if the kitchen can't manage the capacity maybe it shouldn't cater to so many

Very slow, no warning that we had to wait an hour for food, when we went in there were no menus, people came in after us got menus before us. Starter came at same time as main meal after 1 hour. No apologies before hand for wait. Food was nice but very expensive for what it was

Really great plant-based food. Edit: Unfortunately, the owner has decided to start serving non-vegan items. This means we won't be visiting again as we can go to places like that much closer to home. I will leave my rating as is, because the food was good, and so was the service, but I would never go back due to his reaction to responses on social media - and then his ridiculous commentary in the tabloid press.

This place is amazing, During my recent visit to Nomas Gastro Bar, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly. The waiter took the time to explain the menu and answered all my questions with a smile. As someone with a gluten intolerance, I am always on the lookout for restaurants that offer a good selection of gluten-free dishes. Nomas Gastro Bar did not disappoint. Their gluten-free options were not only extensive but also clearly marked on the menu, making the choice much easier. The flavors were excellently balanced, and the presentation was refined.

This was my first visit to Nomas gastro bar. Wow, what a lovely chilled place. Excellent service. Super friendly staff. The food here is superb. The vegan options especially. I will be back. Highly recommend
