Absolutely delightful food, lovely atmosphere and fantastic service!

Lovely relaxing atmosphere and comfy seating. My chocolate banana bread was amazing 🤩 and a super yummy iced matcha. Great service and recommendations. The guy serving seemed to really love his job and was very attentive with customers. I'll definitely be returning 💖

Lovely food, staff really attentive. Food portions are a little smaller than most other places, and no cocktails available when we visited . However, the quality of food was amazing and we would return again x

Vegans who sell animal products.. lol. The mental gymnastics here are intense. It's like being against slavery but still being ok with selling slaves, just not using them yourself.

The options for vegetarian and gluten free food is unlike anywhere else I have been. The atmosphere is lovely, and the young lady who served us was polite and very helpful. Will definitely be returning and advising Nomas to others!

Lovely panini but it could do with some garnish like a salad. 30 minute wait on our drinks and we had eaten our food already. Disappointed with our visit. Staff were lovely but service was very slow. Especially as they were very quiet.

Didn't realise it was vegan. Doubt we will go again. They have had to change the menu because no one wanted the vegan food.

This is still the best place in Macclesfield for plant-based food . Great service too. Vegans and anyone wanting to sample dishes without animal products should definitely head for Nomas.

Very slow, no warning that we had to wait an hour for food, when we went in there were no menus, people came in after us got menus before us. Starter came at same time as main meal after 1 hour. No apologies before hand for wait. Food was nice but very expensive for what it was

The food was really tasty but a very long wait for it to arrive There was a lovely atmosphere and the decor is very stylish but the seating is uncomfortable especially when you have to wait such a long time. It was busy but if the kitchen can't manage the capacity maybe it shouldn't cater to so many

Really great plant-based food. Edit: Unfortunately, the owner has decided to start serving non-vegan items. This means we won't be visiting again as we can go to places like that much closer to home. I will leave my rating as is, because the food was good, and so was the service, but I would never go back due to his reaction to responses on social media - and then his ridiculous commentary in the tabloid press.

This place is amazing, During my recent visit to Nomas Gastro Bar, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly. The waiter took the time to explain the menu and answered all my questions with a smile. As someone with a gluten intolerance, I am always on the lookout for restaurants that offer a good selection of gluten-free dishes. Nomas Gastro Bar did not disappoint. Their gluten-free options were not only extensive but also clearly marked on the menu, making the choice much easier. The flavors were excellently balanced, and the presentation was refined.

This was my first visit to Nomas gastro bar. Wow, what a lovely chilled place. Excellent service. Super friendly staff. The food here is superb. The vegan options especially. I will be back. Highly recommend

Really lovely aesthetic, chilled atmosphere, the food was amazing, full credit to the chefs. The front of house staff are great I was served by - Alisdaire - a breath of fresh air, knowledgeable, polite, really attentive. The overall experience was that this family run business is managed professionally, efficient and authentically with passion and it really comes across in every single detail. Thanks.

Only popped in to get a sweet treat, but I wasn't disappointed. A warm welcome, a nicely decorated place and the array of food available was impressive. Got 2 vegan cannoli and they were delicious 😋 would come back again if in the area

What a find! For vegan and gluten free there are lots of options. Food was amazing, Greek dishes tasted authentic (not that I’m an expert) gluten free pizza had generous topping too. Biscoff cheesecake heavenly! Definitely recommend :)

Popped in whilst looking for a spot to try for breakfast in town and this did not disappoint. Staff were great, food was fresh and tasty and they have an excellent selection of smoothies - ended up trying 3 out the 6 ! Will be back !

My husband and I had a lunch and it was absolutely delicious. I had vegan dish and my husband meaty one. We both thoroughly enjoyed it 😃

Called in for a sandwich to takeaway. We chose a bacon cheese and lettuce bap. £16 for two so not cheap. After a 20 minute wait we asked how much longer it would be as we had paid for parking and didn't want this to run out. They said 5 minutes so we waited. After 10 more minutes we asked for a refund which they gave us with no problem. I just thought a half hour wait for a sandwich to take away was a bit extreme.

Amazing cafe. Staff are amazing and very welcoming. Food is excellent. Best bacon and sausage barm I've ever had. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Brook side farm shop supply the meats. Home made pesto on the sandwich was 10/10 and even home made tomato ketchup. Will be returning. Thank you very much! Also bits for children to play with in the back mini kitchen.

Amazing, friendly service. Delicious food and drinks including great gluten free options. Lovely kids toy area at the back of the restaurant was perfect to keep my 2 year old entertained, definitely will be back!

A really lovely place to have a nice coffee, breakfast, smoothie or great choice of interesting dinners. We had dolmades and greek pita with houmous for an evening small meal - it was really delicious. Great quality food and taste - my son enjoyed the Greenlander juice and I had a lovely pink pinot. We returned for breakfast and the coffee was lovely - my son had the delicious porridge with lovely seeds etc. really nice atmosphere and great service, thank you!

Even though it was busy the staff were great on getting everything out and giving excellent service. Very very friendly and would recommend to any vegans or non vegans. 10/10 would go again!

We visited for lunch today with some visiting family and were not disappointed! Absolutely lovely, freshly prepared food (mix of vegan, vegetarian, and dishes containing meat) for 6 adults and a toddler. Nothing was too much trouble, atmosphere was lovely. Everyone commented the salads were the best they have ever had 🤩. We will definitely be back!

We always choose here in Macclesfield town- the little play area makes it such an easy pit stop. Such a great atmosphere and the menu has healthier and conscious choices.

Had lunch here with my partner who is a wheelchair user and the staff were great at getting the ramp for us and welcomed us both in. The food is very good and has a lot of gluten free and vegan options. They have now started adding meat options to their menu but the food is more focused around vegan which makes a change. The drinks were very well done too, they have a great selection of specialty lattes and healthy drinks which added to the pleasant experience. Definitely worth checking out 😊

Lovely little cafe, Gluten free pizza was delicious, other half had Vegan yeeros wrap and he loved it. Coffee was also really nice. We will definitely be returning.

Came here a few weeks ago with my friend for her birthday lunch. To preface she is intolerant to gluten and lactose (not a proper allergy but makes her unwell). We tried to order the chicken Yeero but wanted one with gluten free pita (they had this but only a pork and vegan option), upon ordering we were told the chefs were unwilling to change the bread and the menu was the menu with no changes. We ended up leaving due to the total disregard for dietary requirements and being told we could only have pork or vegan options which wasn’t what we wanted. I was extremely unhappy that the chefs were unwilling to change the bread as it was available, the cafe was empty bar one other patron. In the end we were actually recommended somewhere else that was willing to adhere to dietary requirements by the other patron. The fact we were told the menu was the menu and the chefs were unwilling to make any changes was ridiculous as the menu was not made to fit every dietary requirements. However the server was lovely and very apologetic and helpful where he could be but it was clear his hands were tied in this situation.

Just popped into Nomas Gastrobar in Macclesfield and how refreshing to find an independent restaurant which stands out from all those bland chains offering their moribund selection of fare. Now I'm from the last century and like using that folding stuff otherwise known as cash so I was considerably impressed with not only the beyond wonderful Greek food but the 10% discount for cash. What's not to like? Beyond five stars...

Delicious Brunch and blended Juices Lovely Decor, exceptional breakfast and lunch time food, the fresh sour dough bread is amazing. Really great coffee, so good we bought some of the beans to use at home. We also had two of the fresh blended juices they offer, they were delicious and refreshing. Lovely Friendly Staff

Great place with a good menu for vegans and all. Vegan salad with fries and sourdough, chicken burger and fries and a pork veero. Not had a veero before and it was like a very nice shawarma. Coffee and hot chocolate all came to £62. Friendly staff and very enjoyable food.

Had heard good things about this place, so decided to give it a try especially after all the fuss in the press recently about them adding meat to the menu to get more customers in so that they can survive, which i thought was totally fair on their side. Went in and ordered some brunch and some coffees, and at the time the place was empty, so thought it wouldn't take too long, about 10 minutes later some other folk came in and ordered, when their food turned up before ours, we queried where ours had got to, the guy went off to find out what the hold up was and the order hadn't gone through the system, and they had run out of what my friend had ordered. the guy said you can have anything you like off the menu to replace your order (as brunch service had now finished) and they would also knock 50% off the bill for our inconvenience, however that wasn't all that got knocked off, as he proceeded to knock the remains of a cold cup of coffee over my trousers. I SHALL NOT BE RETURNING

Great place to visit, amazing food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. The vegan selection is great, will definitely be visiting again. Good size portions, I struggled to finish it but it was so nice I had to. Can have take away too so I took a couple of the cakes home for later and they are delicious 😋

Excellent vegan café. Sometimes it is good to leave your comfort zone. It is not specifically vegan. There are some meat dishes and they do a full English. I was with a vegan friend. So I knew what I was getting. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The waitress who served us was outstanding. I think Spanish. They also do some very good non dairy or dairy house latte's with some unusual ingredients. I had a house golden latte (with milk, bad me). Had turmeric dried orange (shavings), and some ginger and I think a little cinnamon. If you like to try something different. I thoroughly recommend them. Really enjoyed it. And very good value for a vegan restaurant. At least half the price of a Manchester vegan restaurant. I will be going back at some point.

We love Nomas for coffee and lunch. Our favourites are the Yeero - (soooo good!) and the superfood salad with crispy tofu bites. Nomas is all about flavours and texture, nice combinations and their dressings are delicious! It’s beautifully crafted food. The Biscoff latte is to die for and their hazelnut cannolis are on another level! The cafe is a gorgeous place to enjoy when we have time but they also deliver on Deliveroo!

Fantastic vegan in Macclesfield

Amazing plant based food and lovely staff. One of my favourite places to eat, I come here often and it's something I always look forward to. The red velvet latte is like no other I've ever tried and is heavenly.
