We were there for a wedding reception. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere.

Attended a talk here and was impressed by the excellent customer service. While the main risotto dish wasn't to my taste, the rest of the meal was good and well-prepared. Overall, a positive dining experience

We had a wonderful birthday meal at Noel’s. The food was bellissimo, with wonderful service. Highly recommend the pan-fried tiger prawns, linguine alla marinara, and Noel’s original cheesecake. Compliments to the chef, Yoset! We’ll definitely be back :)

Fish platter starter was ok. Steak wasn’t cooked right and was flavourless as well as sword fish, no check back. Servers friendly but not paying attention, was asked 4 times if we had allergies, no steak knife until asked, asked what something comes with ‘I don’t know but I assume…’. Meh. Also, if you’re charging service charge that’s fine but you need to do better service, top up waters etc.

We went to Noel's for my mom's 60th Birthday Celebration. We hired the private room which is a great space tucked behind the main restaurant area. The food was tasty and the service was outstanding. Callum and the team we're great and didn't miss a step and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Location is great (just behind the mailbox) and is on the side of the canal. We came in the winter, but I can imagine in the summer it is even better!

The food was excellent, the service was the best we had ever experienced and the atmosphere was fantastic. Had a meal for my birthday on Boxing Day and the food was fabulous. Wide variety of seasonal & different cocktails on offer which were excellent. I had scallops for starter and halibut for the main and both were perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great canal side location. Quiet atmosphere. I even had a birthday plate! Highly recommend.

Visited for some drinks and bar snacks on a Saturday night before a show at the Symphony Hall. Cocktails were all delicious, all the food we ordered was lovely, and staff really friendly. Nice atmosphere as well. Highly recommend!

I must mention Wiktoria who is fabulous as front of house and her collegue Albana both were really attentive to our table of 10 and made it a really great xmas day. food ambience and also the other diners in our part of the restaurant we’re great fun. Best Christmas Day meal ever. Been there today with family party of 6 and I can honestly say I couldn’t fault a thing! Delicious, innovative food, excellent friendly service and value for money. What’s not to love!

A very enjoyable works Christmas meal in the function room with 30+ colleagues. The staff were friendly, professional and did a great job. All credit to them for looking after us and other diners this evening.

We visited Noel’s on 14th December for the first time for a few drinks. Charming location and a nicely decorated restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay and Alex, the DJ playing on the night deserves a massive thank you and well done! He went above and beyond from the minute we arrived, he is polite kind and professional. His set was outstanding, and he kept the bar engaged and vibing. His constant smile, positive energy, and incredible vibes made the night unforgettable. Alex is a brilliant DJ and a true gentleman! We will most definitely be returning to the venue and to support him when he next plays.

Had a fabulous Christmas meal... Grilled Prawns... Lobster Linguine and Rum flamed Christmas Pudding. Would certainly eat there again...

Had a Christmas meal here for 35 people, the setting was lovely and the team communicated well before hand and met all our dietary requirements. The food was lovely, service was good but service a little slow. Would highly recommend.

I've been here twice now and both times have been absolutely fantastic. The service is excellent, as is the food. We had the deluxe Seafood platter to start, which was to die for and then as a main I had the slow cooked Lamb, which just fell off the bone. I ate every scrap of it. Absolutely incredible. Lovely atmosphere on a Saturday Lunch/early evening. Not pretentious, or too casual - somewhere comfortably in the middle. How this place doesn't have a Michelin Star is beyond me. Looking forward to next time.

Really good food in a nice location, which would be even better in the summer by the canal. I enjoyed what I had and would go back but felt it was overpriced so have knocked a star off!

I came here for bottomless lunch for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing and the staff were. I'm not sure of the name of the person that served us but he was great! I had the best time and would definitely recommend. I'll definitely be back again soon!

Brilliant canal side restaurant opposite the cube by mailbox. Meat is from Aubrey Allen, perfectly cooked and presented, foodie heaven. Unlimited drinks available with set menu for £25.

Attended for bottomless brunch and as it was an early seating the restaurant was very quiet. Despite this, the service was slow & we had to repeatedly ask for service. Staff were unfriendly and the restaurant has this ridiculous rule where if you’re a large booking you all have to have the same cocktail meaning people are served drinks they don’t particularly like & you’re waiting for each other to finish your drink so that you can have another. Hardly bottomless! This is one of the pricier brunches in the city & it definitely wasn’t value for money! The food was nice but portions were small; there are better places to enjoy brunch in Birmingham and we won’t be returning.

If you want great food and good service then do not dine at Noel’s. If you do decide to risk it. Do not ask for calamari with your seafood platter. It was dry and tasteless.

Myself and my wife had lunch here today, the beef croquettes starter were to die for and the moules mariniere were plentiful and tasty as our main course. Complimented by truffle and Parmesan chips, divine. The Staff were amazing and highly recommended a trip here to sample the food and atmosphere. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from us.

We booked Noel’s Bar & Restaurant for a special birthday lunch with 16 guests. fantastic customer service right from the start through to the end of our lunch party. The booking was simple and the staff were kind enough to revise the set menu to suit our party’s dietary preferences. Payment was clear & simple. The initial booking was handled perfectly by Laila & Francesco. On the day, we were greeted by Callum & his customer service levels were fantastic! So personable, calm & smiling constantly 😀 We were so impressed with the service, the pre drinks, mocktails & Prosecco & the restaurant itself is beautiful with instagram worthy decor! We were very impressed that the team had arranged name cards with each persons food options listed. It was very professional & aesthetically pleasing. The food came out on time & was of a high standard. All of the guests complimented all of the food, from its presentation, taste and portion size. Not one guest complained about anything! We loved every single minute of our time in your establishment celebrating a 70th Birthday. The hot drinks were superb with the tea pots being the cutest thing ever!! Thank you all so very much & we look forward to returning again not just for large bookings but smaller groups too!!! Keep doing what you are doing as it is fabulous!!!

Nice ambiance, good location and nice views. Food was nice, but definitely on the bland side, in regards to the seafood. Some people enjoy bland meals but those that know "good food", this may not be for you. Not sure if the sea bass was cleaned while preparing but for the price, all parts of the menu is overpriced. The lunch menu is far from value for money, you need to pay additionally for chips, mash, rice to accompany the steak, fish ect. Cocktails were 10/10 but overall ok/nice but I'm in no hurry to return

This place has gone rapidly down hill I also caught an extremely dangerous food poisoning from one of there sea food dishes which left me bedridden for about a week . There service is very bad if you book later in the evening they don't seem to cater to you at all and also don't like you to buy on the two for one cocktail menu when it is there for all costumers to use- female bartender very rude and dishonest .

We went at 5pm so the place was practically empty, nice and quiet ambience. Got a place by the window overlooking the canal. Lovely interior. Food was good. We had the fish sharing platter, beef croquettes, moules marinière, pan-fried octopus, tomato basil red onion salad and garlic chilli toasted almond broccoli. Cocktails were “2 for 1” between 4-7pm Sunday-Friday. Can vouch for the lychee rose spritz, bergamot & elderflower martini, mojito, pornstar martini, coco jungle.

We recently held our wedding reception in the private dining room at Noels. The day was an outstanding success from the champagne and canapés we started the celebration with to get everybody in the mood. To the sit down three course meal.which was perfection. The atmosphere was perfect as was the service and nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful day and would like thank Francesco and Callum for their assistance and attention to detail. Absolutely horrible place to celebrate my birthday. They overpriced everything. £5 for a bottle of water? The food was atrocious. We ordered something called a seafood platter duplex, and it was the worst thing we’ve ever had. Have you ever seen anything served warm on crushed ice? It looked and tasted disgusting. This dish might be worth £20, yet they charged us £88.99 for it. Ridiculous! The mixed grill, another £89 disaster. You'd be better off going to Wetherspoons. We didn't order much, but the food and service quality were horrible. To top it off, they wouldn't even let us cut our birthday cake, making the whole celebration pointless. At the end, they slapped on a 10% service charge for the rubbish service we received. The total bill was £270 for four people. My friends and I will never go there again. Avoid this place at all costs!

I dined at Noel Restaurant yesterday with a friend, and the experience was exceptional. The service was impeccable, thanks to Francesco's attentive care The fried calamari were perfectly golden and crispy, while the pan-fried tiger prawns with chili and tomato sauce were succulent and well-balanced.For our main courses, we shared lobster ravioli and tagliolini with seafood. Both dishes were outstanding, with the pasta cooked "al dente" and rich, flavorful sauces. Francesco's thoughtful touches, like a hot side plate and water with lemon, enhanced our experience.For dessert, we shared a pistachio cheesecake, which was creamy and flavorful, with a delightful contrast between the mascarpone and crunchy pistachio. Our meal was complemented by a crisp Italian Greco di Tufo wine, and an amaro suggested by Francesco was the perfect finish.Noel Restaurant exceeded our expectations with exceptional service and exquisite cuisine. Its not busy when we get in. Got a window side table, nice relaxing view. It would be perfect if we could get a bigger table as we ordered a lot🤣Everything is fantastic! Restaurant and food decorating are wonderful. Did not expect this good before we get in to be honest. Our bill is around 90pound including server charge, which we are happy with it. Especially the waitress who severed us (purple/pink hair coloured?). Very good service and gave us a beautiful meal time here!☺️

Good food received. Well presented, well cooked and tasty. Service was wanting, although pleasant, when received. It was very busy, very loud with a singer when we went on Saturday night, although this made it difficult to converse the atmosphere was good.

mostly had good experiences here but was there Thursday evening and the service was just bad, the beer clearly had a problem as it destroyed my stomach, on top of that some homeless guy started harassing us as we were sat outside on the restaurant chairs by the canal, when I thought the waiters were coming out to help move them on they simply stood at a distance by the door, watched and laughed, brilliant service that is! think I'll go somewhere else next time

For a work meal for seven of us we chose to book Noel online the process was straightforward and they called two days in advance to confirm our reservation. We put down a note to say if we could eat outside if the weather was nice- they were quite accommodating. We all chose to have a 3 course meal from the lunch set menu which was £19.95. Everyone enjoyed their meal- and were happy with what they chose. The waiter who served us was equally amazing- he was able to cater for our needs. Me as a pescatarian and non drinker had many options. The mocktails I had were super refreshing. We all got hot drinks to finish off. The atmosphere was very relaxed and loved being seated by the canal. Overall everything was spectacular and I will certainly return. Also side note there is a 12.5% service charge- which we didn't mind as we wanted to tip anyway.

Outstanding Service! We had an amazing dining experience thanks to our waitress, Carolina. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making perfect recommendations. Fifteen minutes passed before they came to take my order, and I went inside myself to tell them I wanted a menu; I already had my order and then they came for me to choose, ten minutes later. So, I waited about twenty minutes just to order a drink. And in the end, the drink I ordered wasn't worth it at all considering the price. They didn't even come to check if the table was clean or if there were any stains left from the previous one. In my opinion, it's not worth it, it's just located in a nice place by the side.The staffs are disorganised and need to be supervised better!

My initial review, we didn’t go here to dine but we wanted to enquire for a private room for a business event. The staff member that showed us around the restaurant was professional and made sure that all of our questions were answered comprehensively and took the time to understand our requirements, she was reassuring that our dietary requirements were met and made us aware that if we need certification for the meats that we select they would be obtained from the supplier to show our guest if required, all options of arranging the room were explained and offered services that would take the strain away from us so we can make sure that what we needed to plan from our side is the only thing we needed to worry about and anything we needed the restaurant to do would be handled by them. We left the restaurant reassured and confident that what we required will be delivered and all we need to do was to finalise our side and confirm from our side i will be updating this review in due course hence no star given for food at the moment.

Beautiful tasting cocktails, lovely presentation, and excellent, friendly staff.

We had dinner for a special occasion and I can say that the restaurant is really ideal and located in very nice location of Birmingham. The cocktail were very good (pornstarmartini) then the food was also good but I really believe that they should keep it simple for their starter and just forget about the leaves 🍃 to introduce your prawns or Calamari as much as the mango can be nice but need to be Ripe and juicy! Other than that the food and price ration isn’t too bad for 7 peoples. I really hold to say that the service was above expectations and that why I think that both ladies raised the bar of the experience which can only lead to improvement in the food in the future! Looking forward for another experience Ooo and the wine selection is also great keep pushing on this aspect!

The service was excellent they made sure we were okay and if we needed anything else the atmosphere and the environment was really nice perfect for most occasions. I had the salmon fillet which was cooked to perfection but needed seasoning. Also has the lemon sole but I didn’t know it was on the bone so beware of tiny bones when eating but this dish was also pleasant Pistachio cheesecake was also nice too all in all a nice evening out

The food is really good and the taste is great, but the service is too average. There are many waiters but the waiting time is too long and the service attitude is very poor.

Great service, great food, great evening!

Unfortunately we had a very negative experience at Noel’s due to an extremely rowdy party of four who had no consideration for other diners. We asked the waitress if we could move to a different table who was very helpful, however we could still clearly hear the group which completely ruined our dining experience. When you spend +£100 on food, drinks, desserts for a belated Valentines meal, having to move seat and eat through constant noise is not acceptable. We also heard another couple complaining about the noise. It would have been appreciated if something was taken off the bill at the very least to compensate for this. Unfortunately, despite the food being quite nice, we won’t be returning.

Absolutely love this restaurant! It’s one of my favourite places to eat in Birmingham since it’s opened. I have visited soo many times and hosted my birthday here before and it never fails to disappoint! Particularly writing this report as we visited yesterday as part of their 50% off in January! Given the entire a la carte menu was half price, the attention to detail, service and quality was just 10/10! Our food was beyond amazing! For reference, most of our table ordered the ribeye with the mushroom sauce and truffle chips - the steak was just so well seasoned and juicy!! Also it’s worth noting the Pistachio cheesecake is gorgeous! Also an extra shout out to Callum who was looking after us! He’s served me a few times I’ve been and he was on top form (as usual)! One of the best hands down! He deserves all the praise and more!!!

Our first time at Noel's and were not disappointed. It was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was decorated stylishly. The food was lovely. We started with the breads and oils and were given a good selection of breads. Both our starters were nicely presented and very tasty. For mains, we both had the seafood linguine. The portions were a good size and again delicious with a good variety of seafood. Our waitresses were polite, and very professional. Finally we would like to say thank you for the anniversary plate which came as a bit of a pleasant surprise. Thank you for a lovely evening, and we'll be back again in the future.

Very smart restaurant and bar just off the canal near the Mailbox. We only went for late drinks while we waited for the traffic to calm down after attending a show in town that evening, but we were greeted in a warm friendly way, seated at a pod near the bar and offered the drinks menu. Beautiful bar area, marble tables, fresh flowers, well stocked bar, elegant glassware, staff were in pristine smart uniforms, nice music vibe playing, clean smart toilets even at the end of the night. Extensive drinks menu, reasonably priced for such an upmarket venue, and the bartenders were experts at making cocktails. We looked at the food menu and will definitely go back to sample the food. Really glad we popped in for a few drinks.

The food was sparse but very tasty, and I thought it was overpriced. Considering that the restaurant was empty, I would have expected far better service.

Christmas day meal lovely atmosphere and great staff

Really nice place. It was really quiet when we arrived as a group. And the service was good, they got a friend another drink because they couldn't do a bubble on top of the drink.

Where do I start, we chose to dine here for our annual family Xmas meal. It took 40 mins from seating to place order and get drinks. Only to be kicked off our table at 9 and asked to go to the bar where we could have a free shot! so we had 1 hour 20 mins on the table in total. Three of us had oysters to start and unfortunately today 11 Dec we all have food poisoning The main courses were just very average the pork belly cracking was soggy, the rosemary and garlic potatoes were somewhat hard,but the rib eye steak and fries went down well. Overall the staff were polite but there just wasn't enough working to speed up service given how full the restaurant was. Based on my experience unfortunately I won't be returning.

A very nice experience celebrating my daughters birthday. We were very well looked after and we enjoyed the food! My best ravioli ever! The only thing i would change is the set up. Absolutely gorgeous decor but I wouldn't choose it for a date night, no initimacy. Ok for friends and family meals.

Slow cooked shank of lamb for mains and bruschetta for starters I swapped my mash for baby potatoes and just like the last time this dinner hit the spot! This restaurant is absolutely amazing- beautifully presented tasty food, lovely attentive staff, great atmosphere and decor. The manager, Jimmy is so welcoming and friendly. We absolutely love this place - it’s our new favourite restaurant!
