Noble House in Cardiff

A large restaurant with spaced out seating located in a restaurant and cinema mall with large parking outside. Tablet form order with extensive menu. Process would be easier if there was photos attached to each dish. Ordering was generally easy and efficient. A real shame about the cutlery, plates and containers for food as very much on a take away principle albeit noted on order that was eating in! This could be improved to enhance in-house dining experience. Food- a number of good dishes: cauliflower wings and aubergine in black bean was really good. The peking duck was good, Again could be improved if came in a better serving manner. The egg fried rice was average and the chicken satay was below average. Service was ok. Free parking with number plate entry system on tablet at bar.

Ordered on deliveroo. Took 2 hours to deliver the meal. No one was answering the phone so we could not get an update on the order and could not cancel to order somewhere else. Spoke to someone on deliveroo chat who also could not get hold of the restaurant. Google hours said the restaurant was closed. Extremely poor.

Worst food ever and very expensive for a noodle and black bean sauce, 17/01 I ordered a noodle with black beans and he forgot to send me the noodle, I asked where my pasta was, he apologized and sent me the pasta and told me to mix it on my own paper plate, it’s shame and I paid £ 22,00 quid for this “food”

A great experience here with lovely staff and excellent food. Definitely will be returning or ordering again.

Had takeaway via Just Eat last Tuesday (20th June). It’s now 26th and still suffering from food poisoning. Horrendous norovirus like symptoms started 2pm Wed 21st but really escalated early hours of Thursday morning (3am). Violent vomiting and diarrhoea until 10pm Friday night with chills, sweats, headaches. Still far from fixed with pains in my stomach and general weakness. All of that for only £50. Thanks very much Noble House🤬🤬

This place is very overpriced. Food is ok not brilliant. I’d only order there if they greatly decreased their prices £14 for king prawn green thai curry or for Singapore fried rice £11 it’s disgusting prices

We have been using this take away for years and ordered again on Saturday. We could not believe the prices. My main course has gone up in price £3 .Ok we realise times are tough, BUT I counted 3 prawns in my Singapore noodles and a few scraps of meat..all for £12.50. We ordered and paid for duck rolls , but were given veggie rolls. So disappointed, we will have to look for another takeaway.

Amazing vegan food! So nice and good portions. The staff are lovely too were very polite and helpful. Would recommend

You’re crazy if you order from here. Ordered chicken and cashew nuts. Never seen this dish like this. Horrible taste and thick dark brown sauce. Got an argument when I complained and an attitude. Was then given a curry and have never tasted anything like it in my life. This Chinese was expensive £20 for a curry and not even edible and more attitude from the staff. They’re thieves NB as you can see from below the attitude I had to deal with and name calling as below. It’s no wonder there are so many awful reviews on here Worst “customer service” I’ve ever had

Not sure if unlucky re chef tonight but shockingly poor for price. Chicken was hard and over cooked. Tasteless. Incredibly over priced for quality. Worst spring rolls I’ve ever tasted. Had better far cheaper. Massively disappointing.

I have been here numerous times the food is always excellent my family enjoy eating from here at least once a month yes the prices are a little more than usual places but the quality is miles above everywhere else! Best Chinese in South Wales! Plenty of vegan options the staff are friendly and the delivery is always speedy! Keep up the good work! Happy new year!

The Noble House was renowned for serving restaurant quality food as a takeaway. That reputation has been shattered tonight - my last night in Cardiff. The battered squid was soggy, the Thai curry watery, and the beef just plain tough. A very disappointing experience. I'm glad I'll never be in a position where I have to eat from here again

Good quality food and wide selection. Plenty of good Vegan/vegetarian options and fast delivery :)

delivery was fast but the food was shocking chicken balls dry bbq sauce tasted like sweet n sour sauce rice was dry noodles dry prawn crackers were soft curry sauce one slice or 2 first time i bought from here most definately the last time AVOID AVOID AVOID £42 DOWN THE THE DRAIN

Massively over priced and the staff cannot take any criticism of any kind. They act like children if you have the smallest complaint. Learn to take responsibility if mistakes are made. Will avoid this place now based on the staff mainly. Lastly, go to Zi's Cafe (Woodville road). Much nicer food, authentic and reasonably priced. Funny how Noble House are the only ones charging unreasonable price. Remember people high price doesn't mean good food, sometimes it means pretention.

Excellent takeaway from Noble house. Udon noodles were delicious - everything was fresh and fantastic quality.

I order from this eatery often and always find the service to be excellent, food is prepared and waiting for collection as agreed, orders are correct and most importantly I enjoy the food.

Iv been going to this takeaway a long time it's always been good ,but this time it was absolutely disgusting my egg fried rice was undercooked no EGG no peas init ,the satay sauce was like wallpaper paste and the chow mein was smelly and overcooked all came to 40 pounds they refuse to take card if you pick it up as they just no showing it on there books ,I called up to complain and they refused to take it back or give a refund a rude rude owner and very unprofessional ,I have called trading standards and they will be dealing with this ,so after that the owner actually had the cheek to call the police on me for what for asking for my money back this food is poor poor quality I will get my refund either way

I have eaten food from noble house every week for a while now and the food has consistently been to a high standard and great taste.

Well done Noble House , Massive plant based menu, dishes were hot and tasty. Chicken balls were gigantic Crispy beef a must with distinctive flavour. Tofu in teriyaki best I’ve ever tasted. Great quality will definitely call again👍😀

£38 for delivery is daylight robbery how can this be justified

The prices in window are less than online. Set meal for two online £45 in window £35 collection only. Cash for window price, card machine broken. Ripping off the tax system and their customers. If you want this business to pay Tax you need to add onto window price.

Get orders wrong, nearly killed someone in my party with an allergy and then got so RUDE, claiming we were trying to get free food out of them. Lectured me for an hour at the door.

Gave instructions for delivery to use front entrance as back entrance not in use. Despite this the delivery driver left the food ON THE FLOOR BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD! Had to walk around the house to pick it up! Will never use again!!

Great takeaway yet again, still surprised they only take cash??? But the food as usual was great, would be great if they could get the card machine back, albeit think you can pay via an app service if you use that. I did it old school - phone up and collect, thanks again M

Due to the lockdown you arent allowed inside, so they have a big menu in their window with the prices on and have to phone up to order, which is fine. So I ordered and the food was brought out with a receipt to be paid and none of the prices matched. They were all significantly inflated. I asked if I can pay the prices advertised on their menu and I was refused. Unless you want to be served by dishonest management who take advantage of a global pandemic then go elsewhere

Hope you enjoyed the pun in the title - I certainly did. Myself and some friends ordered a delivery from this establishment. Service was estimated to take 1 hour 40 mins and it did. The phone call kept being disturbed by beeping (aliens?) but we ordered successfully. I got Japanese chicken udon (good stuff). My crew accumulated a further 4 dishes featuring a lemon chicken, a chicken CM (chow mein), a 3 in 1 and a shrimp CM. I’d say it was actually quite delicious. On the pricier side definitely but tasty. Side note the prawn crackers were too pliable, I’m looking for a crUnchy cRisp.

Always consistent quality. If you collect the food is ready very quickly. Highly recommended.

We ordered egg fried rice, chicken balls, fried noodles, sweet and sour chicken. The fried rice was very dry! It tasted like been microwaved. The chicken in chicken balls and sweet and sour chicken was chewy and tasteless. The price in this place is a lot more expensive than other Chinesse takeaways in Cardiff but the quality of the food is lower than other places. Completely waste of money! We will never go back! Save your money and go somewhere else.

Wrong food delivered, the 'manager' refused to refund the meal and was extremely rude. Luckily we ordered through Just Eat, we sent them photos of all the food. They agreed the order was not correct and issued a refund. Reading some of the replies from this poor excuse of a take away simply highlights their lack of care. Avoid.

Dissapointed, my rice tasted like it had been in the fridge for days before being re heated, my beef in XO sauce, was bland and not very spicy, soggy won tons, and overall i paid a lot of money for a below average meal

Had an excellent takeaway from here. It isn't expensive. There is an off licence up the road if you need some beer.

Ordered food new years eve, came to a whopping £41, food didn't arrive for 2 hours, cancelled the order with no real hostility as it was NYE. However still no refund despite trying to sort this out several times. Never again.

I found a piece of glass in my food wich was a beef in satay sauce, thought it was a piece of onion but it was not, so just to warn you guys watch what you have in your box!!!

Sunday night takeaway with my wife having not ordered from here (or any other Chinese for that matter) for nearly a year. Set meal for 2 as good as we remember and arrived 20 minutes before the estimated time. All food delicious and hot.

I placed a telephone order this evening, and upon arrival wanted to add a plain 'chow mien' onto my order. I was advised that this was no problem and would only take a couple of minutes. I was presented with my order one minute later and then drove home. Upon arrival at home I noticed that what I had been given was a plain noodles, which had a very odd taste, and the noodles which were normally nice and smokey from being stir fried in a wok clearly hadn't been cooked properly. I telephoned to tell them and was advised that this is what I ordered, and that was that. I ordered Chow mein which always come with spring onions, and beansprouts. They were not prepared to assist me further. I must say I live locally and I have been a loyal customer over the last 15 years, which I pointed out to the staff member on the phone but they still were not interested. We ate the rest of the food, leaving the strange tasting plain noodles, and realised that our usual food was also a little bland. This place is clearly going downhill, and needs up their game and improve their customer service. Are they really willing to loose a loyal repeat customer for a carton of £3.80 noodles??? really not good business. I will not be returning to Noble house again. The quality of the food here, really doesn't warrant the high prices of the dishes and the poor customer service.

Took almost 2 hours to arrive and was totally cold. When I talked to the person in Noble house, they said they would 're send it. It was 22:30 when I talked to them. They said they would come back and take the food and give me my money back, was to late to actually get anything, so just didn't end up not eating. Thanks for the awful service Noble House, won't use you ever again. I recommend trying one of the other many cardiff takeaways and staying clear of this one

Have been using this place for years. In fact we take two busses to get there. No more!! Visited last Friday. Got home by taxi so food would still be warm. Young Chow Fried Rice barely ok. Curry sauce thick gravy. Chips overcooked. Chicken Noodles dreadful. Rang up to complain. Absolute waste of time. No apology,reimbursement,nothing. Do not use this place.

I will try this place again as after ordering a take away, my partner and I had mixed reviews. My chicken curry was very watered down so was lacking in the expected flavour, which was disappointing for the price. Also miss having mushroom and peas in the curry. While my partner, he had the special fried rice and said it was the best he had had in a while. So will try again and try some other dishes but won’t have the chicken curry again.

Poor quality food, can taste it wasn't freshly made and arrived cold! Called up to give constructive feed back and the manager was rude, ignorant and basically told us we were lying about his "high quality" food. Was over priced for what it was!! Wouldn't of even fed it to my dogs!! Please don't waste your time on this joke of a restaurant!!

Tried this restaurant sometime ago, approx 2 months. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, the chicken balls were horrid, over cooked, very dry and burnt!! I ended up giving them to my dog but even he struggled trying to eat the chicken! So no, very poor quality

An abysmal experience ordering through Justeat.Driver turned up at wrong address not through our fault.We rang the restaurant over 1 hour after to be promised that our food will be delivered.After another 40 minutes waiting,we had to call JustEat to be told that the restaurant will not deliver our food.The restaurant did not have the decency to let us know after taking our money.A disgusting way to treat your customer.You just lost one here.

Love the Chinese delivery takeaway. I always order too much due to it all being very tasty. Hot hors d'oeuvres are just great and very filling.

Tenía la estancia en las leyes a este fin así como China pidió pasar una tarde en el pub no me apetecía cocinar.Una comida para dos personas con algunos extras rollitos de primavera fue ordenado (mi esposa y yo pedimos este antes, así que sé cómo las porciones son generosas y que esto le daría mucha comida para 4).La comida (en la bolsa roja registrada) llegaron antes de la hora estimada, el conductor era cortés, la comida estaba bien caliente, fresco y sabroso. Todos disfrutamos y mi en las leyes de lo buena que era la comida.No me puedo quejar, la verdad. Lo recomendaría y volvería de nuevo.

We usually have a take away from the Noble House. The food is very tasty and always nice and hot. We always order too much and have plenty left over. I enjoy the mixed hot starters. A bit on the expensive side but tasty.

Un plato de carne fue entregada a pesar de poner una nota para pedir el "comer solo" para decir que se requiere la vegetariana de lechuga. Por desgracia, la lechuga que acompaña al plato tenía marcas marrón. Toda la comida estaba tibia. También pidió Nos las arreglamos para conseguir un plato vegetariano de reemplazo para el plato de carne equivocadamente, pero la nueva entrega lechuga tenía cieno marrón. Cuando envié el restaurante para quejarse, su política es que si has consumido, no obtener un reembolso. Por lo que te recomendamos revisar tu orden antes de la persona entrega ha ido. Creo que la comida debe ser bien caliente y el estómago que tengo hoy podría ser una coincidencia, pero tal vez no. . . . . .

Cada vez que sienta como una comida para llevar el Noble House parece ser casi siempre donde terminamos. La comida es muy sabrosa, pero a veces me pregunto cómo buena la calidad de la es. La gente en el mostrador son normalmente muy educado y servicial en ordenar. El precio es bastante normal, ya que no es muy caro, pero yo no diría que es barato. El salón donde se espera para la comida está bien, es limpio y agradable pero un poco desaliñada. La comida está extremadamente rápido, lo que es bueno. Normalmente nos pide el mismo. (Pato, tortitas, fideos de arroz de verduras, huevo frito y pan de gambas), así que realmente no he explorado mucho en el menú, sin embargo hay una amplia variedad para todos los gustos, incluidos los vegetarianos y veganos. firstly when i ordered my food i found it to really over priced where at this point i should of cancled my order but i thought it must be nice for them to be charging so much for their food, boy was i wrong, both myself and my wife has got what seems to be food poisoning as were both still on the toilet 2 days later not only has it put us off this takeaway its put us off chinese all together, i will not be ordering from here EVER again and i advise you to do the same. posted from my toilet at 3:54 am 2 days after

Esta es la primera vez que he ordenado de esta China y sólo decidí probar como regularmente mi chino estaba cerrado.

Soy un cliente frecuente y han sido durante más de 10 años y siempre ha sido servido con las mejores comidas de calidad. Esta vez pedí una comida familiar incluye un pollo con salsa de alubias negras y un seco de sal y chili costillas (mi favorito) debo decir que la comida era muy sabrosa y completa, la carne utilizada era muy tierna de verdad. Las salsas eran tan agradable! He estado recomendando este establecido chino a todos mis amigos y familia. Yo no uso otro chino

El Noble House solía ser una comida para llevar china de primera categoría que siempre fue excelente. Por desgracia, parece haber sido una caída notable en calidad y estándares en tiempos recientes. Para dar un ejemplo reciente, una comida que contenía un plato principal pedimos que era considerablemente cocidas, casi quemado y seco quedaran comestible. Este tipo de cosas nunca utilizada para suceder en el Noble House. Por desgracia, en los últimos tiempos, me temo.

This takeaway had got worse over the last few years, the food is nice most of the time but the staff are so rude, 3 times they have got our order wrong. They don't apologise and last time the chef and waitress were loudly discussing whose fault it was that the order was wrong and the waitress said it was ours even though it had been hers, he said tell him to make sure he orders the right thing next time! So rude! Will not go there again!

I always stop at Noble House for a takeaway when I'm in Cardiff. It's well cooked and they don't stint on expensive ingredients.

Full marks, my usual Chinese. The staff are always friendly, the chefs are in chefs wear and pleasant and clean Loung. The food is hot and tasty.

It isn't the cheapest but the food hits the spot. Excellent fast service even on a busy night. Best Chinese, will use again!

Pedimos comida para llevar y nuestra comida llegó 40 minutos tarde y sólo fue tibio, llamamos y hablé con el gerente de quejarme que a su vez me dijo que era "sacando una rápida y que me fue tonto!" Yo nunca he recibido un mal servicio al cliente. Nunca más nos orden desde aquí. El gerente de bien "bordistas". Me he encontrado.

¡Guau! Sólo en ocasiones uso casa noble ya que es bastante caro. Esta noche nos pareció que habíamos darnos un capricho, ya que normalmente disfruta de la comida. GRAN ERROR! Es termina con el carrito bin. Bar las patatas fritas, galletas saladas ... y las bolas de pollo eran normales (a).

Esta es nuestra chino, y aunque son un poco caro la comida está muy bien, y sin duda mejor que algunos de los otros chino en la zona.

Caro, repugnante sabor, pobres ingredientes. tiró lejos porque no pudimos comer.

Ordered a starter, two mains and two sides and it came to almost £30!! This seemed extremely overpriced. Food was average, my chicken chow mein was really poor and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
