Great little bar restaurant, classy decor, wide variety of drinks (including some cool different wines) and very tasty tapas! Both the owner and chef very personable and seem like great guys.

Such a friendly place. Looked after 15 of us service fab and so chilled out. Will definately go back

Cardinals is a great little bar in Ashley Cross. The Cocktails are fabulous, especially their expresso martini.Jordan the owner is so friendly and has created a really chilled atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Only went for Friday night drinks and had a great time. Got hold of the music iPad and listened to some great tunes! Drinks choice was good and reasonably priced but it was the staff that made it a great place to be, they were the best, especially Jordan. My new fav place in Ashley cross.

We came to the Cardinal after a nice day in Bournemouth and we had an exceptional welcome. It’s very relaxing and their expresso martini was the best I have ever had. This place is such a little gem. I encourage you to go. Best place, best staff and a super duper vibe.

I would definitely suggest anyone to go here if you’re visiting Ashley cross! Such a homely vibe and the drinks are next level yummy. Jordan is the best host and makes everyone feel welcome. Definitely give this place a go if you’re in the area!

When greeted with a bowl of popcorn, and a smile... you know you're in the right place! Plus they are dog friendly! Jordan and Rian were super personable and great hosts, telling us all about their new bar and dream. Given it has just opened, they have a great selection of alcohol, an amazing atmosphere and a really cool nautical decor. If you are looking for a calmer, more enjoyable spot to frequent in Ashley Cross, I would urge you to try Cardinals. Also special mention to Roo, the bar dog!

Fantastic vibe for a new bar, busy busy when everywhere else is okay. Rian and Jordan are personable hosts and the atmosphere is addictive. Check it out for a swift half or more :)

Best non-alcoholic beers in the area, as well as lots of other beer choices. Really nicely decorated and the owner is a very nice chap! Well worth a visit

As soon as you walk in you get a personal welcome from the manager. He makes the bar feel like a home away from home, and makes the best cocktails in town. Cannot recommend enough.

Stunning Cocktails. As a bit of a connoisseur, I have very high standards when it comes to cocktails, and have sampled drinks from across the world, in many high class establishments. Every drink was made with generous measures and spectacular presentation. I honestly couldn't fault them. I love that there are so many alcohol free options too, which would be perfect if going with 'tea total' friends. The decor has been thoughtfully designed, chic, modern and with customer comfort obviously at the heart of the interior style. The toilets are well managed, clean and with plenty of hand towels, soap and hand cream- each of a high quality brand. The barman and owner, Dave, was brilliant; he went above and beyond with a faultless service, and a friendly and welcoming manner. We didn't want to leave! Thank you Dave for your wonderful hospitality. I wish we lived closer to make your wonderful place a regular of ours. When we are in the area again, we will return!

We came here for the first time this evening. Such a massive welcome, great atmosphere and aimed at our over 25 audience. Owner was like an instant friend with great conversation. Good selection of drinks at a good price and just a fun place to be. Now our weekend haunt 👍

This place is a real gem in Ashley Cross! First of all, the food here is exceptional.. we've now eaten here many times since they started the Italian menu and by far beats all of the other Italian restaurants in town at a fraction of the cost too... the food is made with real care and portion sizes are incredibly generous, the chef is a nice guy from Venice too so feel like it is very authentic. Secondly, the bar in general just has a real nice, classy / cosy vibe and is a great place to unwind. The staff always makes us feel welcome, pints and cocktails are consinderably cheaper than the rest of the cross... 100% recommend a vist!

No.10 is a great bar and it always has a friendly and welcoming feeling when you step in. Had a pizza on Friday night and it was delicious. Great food and an excellent espresso martini to finish the night

The concept of this bar has changed quite a lot over time so it is difficult to understand its purpose. It used to serve nice vegan food, but at really irregular intervals, and now it only serves meat options (with non-vegetarian options labelled as vegetarian). Very strange!

Cosy and very friendly bar serving drinks and vegan cuisine. I hav'nt eaten here yet but looking forward as I saw a dish come out and it looked pretty good. Nice wine menu. Highlight for me was lovely welcoming hosts.

Went on a Saturday early evening for a date night whilst doing dry January. They have lots of alcohol free drinks as well as alcoholic ones too, but worth checking with a bar about the ones not on the menu! Photo shows the alcohol free negroni and alcohol free mojito Also had some food provided by plant hustler (who used to be in Boscome) which was delicious. The chef talked me in to trying some vegan prawns (with chorizo) to go with the mock lamb curry. Still not fully sure about the prawns but the curry was delicious (and the free rice was very welcome!). The chef also gave us some larger, breaded, prawns with some chilli dip which were quite nice (kind of lemony tasting). Really nice evening and already looking forward to going back to try some of the other options that I was too full to try today 😅

Beautiful decorations and lovely atmosphere. My gin and tonic was so tasty( orange flavoured) . Highly recommend the barman called Harry!!!

Great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Being unable to drink alcohol it's wonderful to have such a tasty wide selection of non alcoholic drinks, my drinking friends were thrilled too with their tasty quality drinks. We had coffee too and that's fabulous also.. and I had decaf. Our friend got there early and had lunch and said it was delicious which is a big accolade coming from her. We'll all be back to eat and drink. Love it, great little bar!

I was recommended this place by a friend. It’s got a great atmosphere and the drinks are amazing. I had two cocktails and they were beautifully presented and made. I will certainly be recommending to more friends and coming here more frequently!

I went with a couple of friends, all of us women in our 20s, one of whom doesn't drink. It was a really relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and the bartender was lovely. The drinks were delicious and cocktails were beautifully presented. It felt like we could have an evening out without my sober friend feeling she was an after thought and just made for a really enjoyable evening. A bit like going for coffee but more of an evening out. 100% will look for something similar in my area and we will make it a regular when we're in the area

Best coffee in town... also love the draft Big drop IPA is as good as any normal beer!!

Visited today for my aunts baby shower and would highly recommend the place. Dave is amazing and provides a first class service. The bar itself is gorgeous and the choice of drinks was great! Definitely recommend!!

Amazing to have AF lager and cider on tap! Very stylish decor, great ambiance and Dave and Lisa behind the bar have loads of other AF cocktails and drinks to work your way through! Plus, the prices are really reasonable! Definitely worth popping in for a drink if you're in the area. We'll be back!

I was amazed by just how many options there were here. The 0.5 beer and cider on draft was so authentic and the spirits were insane! Combined with perfect hospitality, it was an amazing experience and definitely a place I'll be back to 😊.
