The roast duck is super delicious, the best Chinese food in London👍😻

I was exhausted after walking all day, so I came over and ordered some dishes that seemed more suitable for Shanghainese stomach. The results were good, at least there were no surprises. The roasted pork with dried bamboo shoots tastes a little sweet, and there is nothing wrong with the processing of the dried bamboo shoots and pork; the kale was roasted with garlic, so there was nothing wrong with it. The ingredients were well selected, and the garlic flavor was well combined; the rice cake with shredded pork was quite satisfactory, and a little sesame oil was added to embellish the whole dish. All in all, it was a very satisfying dining experience. (Note: There are many classic dishes in the store that need to be reserved 24 hours in advance. This is not surprising. Please pay attention if you need it)

Been here to eat many times! There were so many people this time, and I finally got to eat the turbot I had been longing for! It is recommended to order two, the salt and pepper and steamed ones are both very delicious~ In addition, the three combinations of soy sauce duck, pickled fresh fish, smoked fish and distiller's grains are all classic must-orders. They are all very tasty and authentic. The perfect choice for dinner parties!

Delicious Chinese food👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻My favorite is the Drunken Chicken. The chicken is very smooth and the aroma of the wine could be stronger. The smoked fish I ate was a surprise, it was delicious! The Shanghai thick stir-fried fish and pickled fish are both delicious.

Authentic Shanghai cuisine with nice desserts

This dining experience was impressive. The first thing that appeared was the xiaolongbao in a bamboo steamer. The skin was thin and neatly creased. Each one was as delicate as a handicraft. The steamer is covered with emerald green leaves, which not only enhances the visual beauty, but also adds a touch of fragrance. Take a light bite and you'll find the soup is rich and the fillings are fresh and sweet, showing the chef's precise control of the proportion of heat and fillings. The next salty crispy chicken flavor fried food presents another taste enjoyment. The fried chicken is crispy and not greasy. It is paired with fried garlic, minced green onion and red pepper. It is salty and slightly spicy, very appetizing. The chicken itself is tender and juicy, blending perfectly with the seasonings, making it a dish you won’t want to stop eating. On the whole, both dishes show the careful attention to ingredients and details, and are a double feast for the eyes and taste.

This was honestly one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever had in London. Basically everything I had was good but there were several standout dishes. The smoked fish completely changed my view of the dish - the skin was crispy and the fish melted in your mouth. The batter and texture of the squid were also nice. I could not get enough of the fried noodles. The ingredients were simple - noodles, pork, bok choi and mushrooms - but the chewy noodles, crispy bok choi and not-too-spicy sauce combined to create a wonderful dish. The restaurant is in a convenient location a stone’s throw away from Earl’s Court. The upper level also has a balcony that I think would be quite pleasant in the summer. This restaurant has tables of different sizes, so it could fit our group of 10 and several smaller groups of 2-4 with no issue. The servers were also incredibly pleasant and nice to us. Overall, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Great services with nice food ! The restaurant is small so it can he crowded as you are sitting next to another table very closely. The portion of the food is huge.

The boss is very enthusiastic. The shop is not big, but the interior is clean and tidy. We two girls ordered a tamagoyaki and a double pepper chicken. The portion was just right, delicious and not too heavy. There were dried shrimps and squid rolls in the tamagoyaki. The double pepper chicken is not too spicy either. Recommended! Will visit again if I have the chance!

Went back the second time in two days. This place is a gem in the heart of Kensington just two minute walk from the Earl Courts Station, serving a large menu of authentic Shanghainese cuisine, among others some dishes from other provinces. The Ong-Choi veggie dish remind me of home. I ordered this veggie two days in a row. The service is nice and genuine. They open late to, which was a godsend when they stayed open a few minutes to compete my togo order the first night we were in town. The place is very chic and clean.

What is it like to eat freshly cooked braised pork in London? Just take one bite, it's fat but not greasy, crispy and delicious, it really "melts in your mouth"! The accompanying plate of stir-fried kale is refreshing, crispy and tender, with a slight hint of ginger. After finishing the heavy dish, picking up a pair of chopsticks will immediately "sat" your stomach and relieve your tiredness. I never thought that I could eat Chinese food in London without MSG or pre-made dishes - every dish is made with care, the ingredients are fresh and the taste is clean. It is really a refined version of "home cooking". The most recommended one is the signature pickled pork! The Jiangnan-style old soup base is rich and fragrant. The bamboo shoots, bacon, louvers, and green vegetables are stewed just right. It is warm and thick. It is the kind of taste that will make you smile when you take one bite of the soup (remember to book in advance!). The dessert of rice dumplings made with rice wine is also a surprise. It is sweet and fragrant with wine, and the dumplings are soft and glutinous. The peach gum is also a special surprise, it is more delicious than what I had in Shanghai. rSweetness is a very moist sweetness. I have been asked by my foreign colleagues before: "Have you had any good Chinese food in London?" I always shake my head. Until I met No.10, which is hidden in the alley of Earl’s Court, I could finally confidently answer: “Yes!”

The number one restaurant in London☝🏻 in my opinion! The fried rice cake with mushrooms and green vegetables is a surprise. The rice cake is soft and chewy, and the green vegetables are refreshing and soothing. I really like the braised pork with dried bamboo shoots. The meat is rich, fat but not greasy. With the aroma of dried bamboo shoots, it goes great with rice. The stir-fried belly with pickled peppers is also highly recommended! It's sour and spicy, the belly is crispy and tender, and you can't stop eating it one bite after another! The smoked fish is also delicious😋I have been here many times. Although it is a bit far from where I live, it is hard to resist even if I try my best.

London can actually eat such authentic Chinese flavours! The Cantonese roast duck has a crispy skin and juicy duck meat; the oil-blasted prawns have just the right amount of heat, and the sauce is rich and retains the sweetness of the prawns; the Shanghai smoked fish is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the sweetness and saltiness are moderate. Each dish is exquisite, and I will come back for more when I have the chance.

It was a very surprising experience. I thought I didn’t like Shanghainese food, but I didn’t expect that I just didn’t get anything delicious! This restaurant also offers Sichuan cuisine, Beijing cuisine and other cuisines ~ and! All dishes are made without MSG and are freshly prepared! The boss also printed this promise on the menu. Recommend the seafood caviar tofu, Geleshan spicy chicken, and braised pork, they are really delicious! I ordered several and didn’t get any surprises! Some dishes take a long time to prepare and need to be ordered in advance~~

Being an Earls court resident for almost 30 years. To have a Chinese restaurant of Michelin star quality nearby is wonderful. I like the Shanghai cuisine most, among all the branches of Chinese meals. They did it excellently well. Plus, the choice of Shichung spicy dishes on the mune just added more exotic ways to enjoy Chinese cuisine. If you ever passing through Earls court, you must try it!

I went there after reading the reviews, and the food was seasoned just right and tasted good without using any strong spices. However, the price per menu seems high for a neighborhood restaurant. The servers are expressionless and not very friendly, but they unilaterally charge a 12.5% ​​service charge on the bill without any mercy.

We’ve been here many times now for lunch and dinner since discovering it 6 months ago. This is now our favourite Chinese restaurant in London. The food is authentic and consistently good, and service is great too, attentive and accommodating. Our favourite dishes are crispy sea bass, tea leaves shrimps, braised pork belly, baby spinach in broth and many more. Their 24hr advance pre-ordered dishes are delicious too: lobster noodles (best in London), bamboo shoot soup, steamed turbot, lion’s head with salted egg yolk etc.

Who would’ve thought you could find such generous portions in London?! The food here is absolutely phenomenal 💥💥 Everything is made fresh to order—NOT pre-made, I repeat, NOT pre-made! The Peking duck, which requires 24-hour advance booking, was a showstopper. It’s served three ways, and as you can tell from the photos, it’s roasted to perfection. It was so good that I ended up having three bowls of soup made from the duck! The sweet and sour pork ribs and Shanghai-style smoked fish were a delightful surprise. Both are on the sweeter side, with rich, flavorful sauces coating the crispy fried fish—absolutely mouthwatering. The mouthwatering chicken here is hands down the best I’ve ever had in any restaurant, and I’m not even exaggerating. I usually don’t bother ordering vegetables when dining out, but their pea shoots in supreme broth? A must-order! The broth is incredibly flavorful—I asked and found out it’s made with premium stock. And don’t miss the pickled mustard greens with pork tripe—so good you’ll want to lick the plate clean. The chef here is truly talented!
