Me and my husband ate here twice because the food was so delicious, clean, friendly, jazzy ambience. I miss Chinese food because I'm far from my home country, it feels like I'm back home. Highly recommend this restaurant for the taste, even where I live, in Belgium I haven't found a Chinese restaurant as delicious as this. 😍👌😋 As usual, we eat quickly without taking a photo first, hehehehehe.

Food was great! I recommend the crispy duck. The staff is kind and patient, I appreciate the suggestions they gave us. The atmosphere is a bit too busy, because the place is well known and a bit small, but it didn’t bother us. We will come back here next time we are in London!

We recently dined at Shanghai #10 in London for three consecutive days, and each time was an exceptional experience! First of all, the service here is impeccable; the staff are attentive and considerate, taking care of every detail. Secondly, the food is top-notch, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors—every dish reflects the chef’s dedication. I especially want to thank the owner and manager for their warm hospitality, making us feel right at home even in a foreign country. Every meal was truly memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Chinese cuisine—you definitely don’t want to miss it! Will definitely come again when we visit London in the future.

On the first day of my first visit to England, I was looking for a place to have dinner. I found a Shanghai restaurant near my residence. Four of my friends were old and had Chinese stomachs and didn’t want to eat foreign food, so we went to try this. I tried it for three days, and all the dishes were made with high-quality ingredients, delicious and original, which was very surprising. The boss and I felt like meeting old friends in a foreign country and having a great conversation. This is the meaning of a good trip. Encountering people by chance is like A short film without a script.

The smoked fish is delicious and crispy, and the chicken from the white-chopped chicken is fresh. Recommend the fried shrimps in oil. The shrimps are big and fried well. The boss is enthusiastic and the food is served quickly. It is currently very popular. You need to make a reservation. There may not be a place in the walkin.

Friend recommended this place and it is delicious! Lots of authentic Shanghainese dishes! The classics such as smoked fish and pork belly were so good we finished them before we even took pictures! This is a super nice restaurant for foodie. Very taste and vary from Chinese Sichuan food to Shanghai Food. They offer quite traditional Shanghai Food, Xunyu(Fish), jiuzao,etc.

Great home style Cantonese dishes. Booked a table for 4 people, quick and friendly service. We ordered: half Cantonese roast duck, braised beef brisket with tomato & potatos, deep fried prawn dumplings, sweet & sour chicken, beef ho fun in black bean sauce and Shanghai scallion noodles. Inc soft drinks & service was £117. Brisket melted in your mouth, noodles were perfectly cooked, duck was a little dry but we did come near closing time so assumed it was a EOD portion so expected. Service was on point as it’s a small restaurant, very attentive. Parked right outside on a Saturday 8pm. Will be back with more people 🌞

Been a couple of times and always a great experience. My favorite dish so far is the boiled fish with Sichuan pickles (pictured), but everything I’ve tried is authentic and delicious.

We dined here twice when we were on vacation. Food was great and authentic. I grew up in Sichuan,China so our household loves anything spicy. My American husband asked the kitchen to add more spices to make the dish hotter. In the end, he said food was not spicy enough but tasty. My son enjoyed everything too. I would recommend the restaurant.

It’s a very lovely small and clean restaurant, with jazz music softly playing, good food and good service. I love the beef tongue and saltpepper pork ribs, even the steamed white rice is good quality. Portion is worth the price.

Disappointed with the food My dish was mainly red onions. Not as described. Poor value. Cold outside and the door left open. I wouldn't hurry back

I enjoyed a very delicious dinner.

Unassuming store front hides this gem of a restaurant. The simple decor is spotless. Jazzy covers play in the background. Food was fresh and delicious. Sweet and sour chicken with fresh fruit was a bright and tasty take on an old dish. Beef with Ho Fun noodles in black bean sauce offered that familiar smoky umami but was filled with wonderful surprises like taro and enoki mushrooms. We began with their take on chicken potstickers - well worth the calories. Other starters included shu mai and hargao. So good, we repeated the order for "dessert"! Service was warm, polite and attentive. One dish was slightly delayed (we didn't notice), but the were very apologetic. We would definitely come back but for the fact that we live in California!

Near Earls Court station tucked in just off Earls Court Rd on Hogarth place this great restaurant has authentic and traditional Chinese cuisine, with a great range of Duck dishes. The seating is comfortable with staff that is quietly, efficient, helpful and friendly. We had a very relaxing meal to some great soft music that made our anniversary outstanding. The food was perfectly cooked and served hot. We enjoyed two different types of tea & really made the meal enjoyable, Unfortunately not enough room for dessert so will be back soon.

Very delicious food particularly the bamboo shoots and pork belly, which is umami-rich and flavourful. The pork was soft and succulent and the bamboo shoots were of a crisp texture. Delicious! The staff were very attentive too. Will be coming back here again!

The ingredients are fresh. It’s rare to find a Chinese restaurant like this. There is no other restaurant within hundreds of miles.

While vacationing in London, we discovered this wonderful cozy restaurant. The soft music and ambiance was very relaxing. We started with green tea, and I had the sweet & sour chicken. It was delicious with soft pieces of tender chicken surrounded by fresh fruit. My wife had the pork dumplings and it was rich with flavor. After dinner we had the mango dessert and it was outstanding. Lastly, the service was excellent. This is the best of London!!!

I recently dined at a fantastic Chinese restaurant where we tried the pork belly and the duck. Both dishes were absolutely amazing! The pork belly was tender and flavorful, and the duck was perfectly cooked with a crispy skin and juicy meat. Highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience!

Used to frequent this place a decade ago when I stayed in the area. Was pleasantly surprised at the glow up when I came back for old time's sake. Had some really wonderful Chinese (though possibly not shanghainese) dishes like their mala pork intestines, braised pork belly and a beef horfun. Service was wonderful and a special mention to qing hua who made us feel at home. Dishes were nicely flavoured and had wok hei! Highly recommended!

I popped in here for lunch on a way to an appointment and the food was delicious! It was beautifully presented and authentic and the taste was 10/10! The service was super efficient and quick, and the staff were very friendly, even taking time to make me feel welcome, not just 'another customer'. I can't wait to take my husband back to try the food, I've been raving about it ever since! If you are in the area, No. 10 is definitely worth eating at and if you're not in the area ... well then it's worth the travel!

My family visited the Number 10 restaurant on Bank Holiday Monday 27/5/24, and we were served by a beautiful young woman called Tsinga, and she gave us a service that was brilliant. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail was amazing. The food was the best Chinese food we have had in a very long time, we would recommend a visit to everyone who wants a fabulous dining experience and excellent choices in the cuisine that number 10 have on offer. We highly recommend this restaurant in Hogarth Street, London.

We absolutely loved the food! Delicious and definitely stands out compared to other restaurants in the area. Everyone is so friendly too, and we through enjoyed our dinner. Will be coming again!

Very delicious Chinese food, not just Shanghai cuisine. The price is relatively affordable and the environment is very good.

The food was outstanding!!! The salted pepper prawns was crunchy and not too spicy. Service was also outstanding, Tsing was always around to check if we need any thing. All in all a great hole in the wall place that will satiate your hungry appetite. You will not go wrong.

We arrived earlier than our booking slot and they kindly let us sit in. The staff members especially Tianx (apologies I know this spelling is wrong) she was so welcoming and attentive! The food came fast and was fresh and hot! So tasty! Highly recommend the sweet spare ribs (yum!) will definitely visit again! Thank you for having us! Xx

The dishes are delicious. The marinated duck is authentic. The golden soup spinach tastes a little bitter. The pickled mustard greens, edamame and pork are very delicious. The shepherd's purse wonton is hand-wrapped instead of machine-wrapped. Very delicious. The boss is very talkative

Fantastic food and even better service!

On the way back after a long walk, we happened upon this absolutely wonderful place. We received a very friendly welcome, and ordered the appetiser plate, followed by kung pao chicken and stir-fried rice cakes and pork strips. All of the dishes were lovely. The rice cakes came in a savoury sauce, and the kung pao chicken had a perfect spicyness that makes one want to continue eating. If there's any regret, it is that we were so full of food that we couldn't try any more dishes. Bonus points go to the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff throughout.

Insider tip far away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. I can only recommend this restaurant to everyone. Very nice place and the food was really delicious. The service was also extremely friendly and fulfilled all of our wishes. We'd love to come back when we're in London again.

It is really a restaurant that is suitable for banquets and is not out of place at all. The environment is much better than some Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. Everything is exquisite, the food is nothing to say, every dish is very good.

It was a wonderful evening wirh fantastic chinese food. No.10 is a small authentic restaurant, which you should visit during your visit in London. The service is much better then in chinatown.

This is one of the very few authentic Shanghainese restaurants in London; I discovered it at the beginning of this month and have already eaten there twice with my Shanghainese mom. Their Signature Boneless Smoked Fish (特色无骨熏鱼) is even tastier than those I had in Shanghai; unlike most, it's served warm and crisp on the outside but still tender inside. Their Fresh Fruit Sweet & Sour Chicken (咕噜鸡) is one of my favorites; it's perfectly seasoned, and mine came with delicious slices of pineapple, strawberry, fig, melon, and litchi. I also tried their Tianmu Mountain Dried Bamboo Shoots and Braised Pork (天目山笋干烧肉); the braised pork was the tenderest I've had in a restaurant outside China. Their Spinach Shoots in Superior Broth (上汤菠菜苗) is one of the best Chinese vegetable dishes I've had; the broth is tasty enough to drink by itself (apparently it takes several hours to make) and flavors the spinach, enoki mushrooms, and goji berries perfectly. Their Sweet Rice Balls in Fermented Rice Wine (酒酿小丸子) is the only version of this I've tried that includes a fresh litchi. I will definitely return to try more dishes!

Excellent food every time I come here. The starters are delicious and good value for the money. The staff is always friendly and genuinely want you to enjoy your meal and go out of their way to make sure you don't need anything. I've been here a few times now and every dish has been great.
