I went there after reading the reviews, and the food was seasoned just right and tasted good without using any strong spices. However, the price per menu seems high for a neighborhood restaurant. The servers are expressionless and not very friendly, but they unilaterally charge a 12.5% ​​service charge on the bill without any mercy.

We’ve been here many times now for lunch and dinner since discovering it 6 months ago. This is now our favourite Chinese restaurant in London. The food is authentic and consistently good, and service is great too, attentive and accommodating. Our favourite dishes are crispy sea bass, tea leaves shrimps, braised pork belly, baby spinach in broth and many more. Their 24hr advance pre-ordered dishes are delicious too: lobster noodles (best in London), bamboo shoot soup, steamed turbot, lion’s head with salted egg yolk etc.

Who would’ve thought you could find such generous portions in London?! The food here is absolutely phenomenal 💥💥 Everything is made fresh to order—NOT pre-made, I repeat, NOT pre-made! The Peking duck, which requires 24-hour advance booking, was a showstopper. It’s served three ways, and as you can tell from the photos, it’s roasted to perfection. It was so good that I ended up having three bowls of soup made from the duck! The sweet and sour pork ribs and Shanghai-style smoked fish were a delightful surprise. Both are on the sweeter side, with rich, flavorful sauces coating the crispy fried fish—absolutely mouthwatering. The mouthwatering chicken here is hands down the best I’ve ever had in any restaurant, and I’m not even exaggerating. I usually don’t bother ordering vegetables when dining out, but their pea shoots in supreme broth? A must-order! The broth is incredibly flavorful—I asked and found out it’s made with premium stock. And don’t miss the pickled mustard greens with pork tripe—so good you’ll want to lick the plate clean. The chef here is truly talented!

The food is very delicious, with a home-cooked taste. I had ants climbing the tree last time, and the Sichuan food is also very authentic! I highly recommend the fried beef tongue with black pepper and garlic sprouts and the bacon and vegetable rice. The braised pork with dried bamboo shoots is also delicious. The environment is very good, very close to earls court subway station The service attitude of the landlady is very good! Will come next time!

We are an American family living in Germany and visiting London over the weekend. We decided to eat here based on the reviews and its location--close to where we are staying. We were delighted from the beginning of our visit to the end by their excellent service. And the food was fresh and delicious. We had crispy duck, home style pork, soup dumplings, and a few extras. We asked the owner for some suggestions about what would go well together and he made excellent suggestions. If you're in the area, definitely have a meal here. Well worth the stop.

Shanghai No10 is the real deal when it comes to authentic Shanghainese food. On top of that, they also offer a variety of dishes from other regions of China, and they’re amazing at those too ! What really impressed me is the quality. The menu proudly states no MSG and canned vegetables free, and you can tell it’s true. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavourful, and cooked perfectly. Even their tea selection is high-quality, which is such a rare find in a non-michelin chinese restaurant. It’s clear they care about every detail. The boss was super friendly, and we had a great chat—it made the experience even better. Honestly, this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in London 🌟

This is the best Cantonese/ Asian food I’ve ever had. We had salt and pepper shrimp and quarter Peking duck as an appetizer. Our mains were sweet and sour chicken and Char Sui Pork. It was all amazing with perfect portions! The service was great and they weren’t very attentive with everything. I just wish I took some pictures to show you all how amazing it all was!! We will be back when we visit London again.

I had an excellent experience with the food and desserts, particularly enjoyed the Shanghai braised pork belly, deep-fried seabass, sweet rice balls, and red date fungus with peach resin. We had lunch here and the food was an explosion of fabulous flavours!! The pork belly was melt in your mouth goodness, the deep fried seabass in a lovely plum sauce cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside. Another favourite of ours was the mincemeat aubergine which also did not disappoint. We decided to try a new dish, the pig’s blood with intestines, lotus root and fermented mustard greens in the most tasty broth! Service was excellent, cosy atmosphere. Well done No. 10 we will definitely be back!

Me and my husband ate here twice because the food was so delicious, clean, friendly, jazzy ambience. I miss Chinese food because I'm far from my home country, it feels like I'm back home. Highly recommend this restaurant for the taste, even where I live, in Belgium I haven't found a Chinese restaurant as delicious as this. 😍👌😋 As usual, we eat quickly without taking a photo first, hehehehehe.

Food was great! I recommend the crispy duck. The staff is kind and patient, I appreciate the suggestions they gave us. The atmosphere is a bit too busy, because the place is well known and a bit small, but it didn’t bother us. We will come back here next time we are in London!

On the first day of my first visit to England, I was looking for a place to have dinner. I found a Shanghai restaurant near my residence. Four of my friends were old and had Chinese stomachs and didn’t want to eat foreign food, so we went to try this. I tried it for three days, and all the dishes were made with high-quality ingredients, delicious and original, which was very surprising. The boss and I felt like meeting old friends in a foreign country and having a great conversation. This is the meaning of a good trip. Encountering people by chance is like A short film without a script.

Great home style Cantonese dishes. Booked a table for 4 people, quick and friendly service. We ordered: half Cantonese roast duck, braised beef brisket with tomato & potatos, deep fried prawn dumplings, sweet & sour chicken, beef ho fun in black bean sauce and Shanghai scallion noodles. Inc soft drinks & service was £117. Brisket melted in your mouth, noodles were perfectly cooked, duck was a little dry but we did come near closing time so assumed it was a EOD portion so expected. Service was on point as it’s a small restaurant, very attentive. Parked right outside on a Saturday 8pm. Will be back with more people 🌞

Been a couple of times and always a great experience. My favorite dish so far is the boiled fish with Sichuan pickles (pictured), but everything I’ve tried is authentic and delicious.

We dined here twice when we were on vacation. Food was great and authentic. I grew up in Sichuan,China so our household loves anything spicy. My American husband asked the kitchen to add more spices to make the dish hotter. In the end, he said food was not spicy enough but tasty. My son enjoyed everything too. I would recommend the restaurant.

It’s a very lovely small and clean restaurant, with jazz music softly playing, good food and good service. I love the beef tongue and saltpepper pork ribs, even the steamed white rice is good quality. Portion is worth the price.
