Food and service at the Brompton Cross is outstanding, and the experience overall is even more wonderful thanks to the owner, James Ramsden who really pays attention to every single detail and ensures everyone is looked after and having the best time. Extremely nice pub both inside and outside. I'd highly recommend you go there on a hot day to sit outside with the chairs they have.

Before entering the V&A, around 2pm, I went in to have a nice pint of Guinness and fish and chips. Good food, with traditional atmosphere, very nice bars and seats. Staff here are super nice. Today I had a great time with the perfect weather in London!

Nice pub with great layout. Food looked good however didn't have time to stay and try. Beer range is a little lacking and average but spirit range is extensive and on show. Friendly service and plenty of space for groups.

Nice pub. Limited beer options so we had G&Ts. We sat here awhile and rested. Met up with our other travel companions and discussed their tour around the city.

Always liked this place when it was the Hour Glass, which then closed down for ages during the pandemic. Went in again recently for the first time since it reopened and seems just as good.

It is a lovely place. We stayed in London for a few days and came across this pub. The atmosphere is great and we very much loved the sunday roast! We had never tasted it before and we highly recommend it.

Bartender/waitress extraordinaire Ella and Chef Ouatara were so kind and gracious. The fish and chips, Cesar salad and g&ts were delicious. Excellent beer suggestions, would absolutely return.

The bar/pub area is teeming with people but the upstairs dining room is much quieter. The fish & chips are delicious. The waitress is charming and very smiling. The decor is very pleasant.

We stopped in this pub by chance, looking for Scotch Eggs. One of the few pubs that had them available over the Christmas period. We enjoyed the Fish and Chips (delicious crunchy breading!!), Cheddar Rarebits (very tasty!!), and the Scottish eggs which did not disappoint us: very large and full-bodied. Price in line with the quality (46 pounds for two). If you are in the area, definitely stop here to try these typical dishes!

Nice little pub with a chilled vibe. I visited the place in the festive season. Nicely decorated (not overdone). Clean tables and stools. I have not tried the food, however, seeing other customers walking in and ordering food, they were very complimentary. The staff are very friendly and greeted every person when they walk in. If you are in the area and look for a nice vibe, I certainly recommend the place.

The Hourglass has had a refurb and a rename. It’s a modern, very nice and original look. My Timothy Taylor Landlord was £7.10! BUT it’s beautifully cool and fresh, absolutely excellent

Great spot to stop for a pint after work in the South Ken area. The staff are super friendly and quick with service. There is live piano on Thursday and Friday which is a nice touch.

Nous avons mangé le Devonshire crab black tortellinis et le Brompton steak tagliata. Tout était excellent. J'ai particulièrement apprécié les tortellinis. L'ambiance était bonne et le personnel gentil. J'y retournerai avec joie.

A proper local in Chelsea with top class food and the live piano really brings up the atmosphere.

Restaurant calme et chaleureux. J'ai mangé avec quatre personnes . Les portions n'étaient pas copieuses. C'était bon. J'aurais aimé avoir plus de frites et plus de poissons dans mon fish and chips. Possibilité de monter à l'étage pour manger ou de manger en bas

We were staying just around the corner at an Airbnb and found this place and were so happy we did. Denize was terrific and set us up with a table for 5 quickly, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. The music was eclectic (coincidentally the Beatles were playing when we walked in and again when we walked out, but there was a wild selection in between). Three of us had fish and chips and the portions were great, and the chips were some of the best we had. Daughter had the steak frites and it was delicious. Wish we didn't live 6,000 miles away or we'd be here all the time!

Started our meal with the calamari and it was FABULOUS! The light salt/pepper coating with dip was perfect. Now for the star of the show - the crab black tortellini! I had zero expectations and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor combination of creamy crab/lemon/spice in the perfect Al dente large tortellini. We’ve had a few meals in Knightsbridge but this was my favorite, hoping to stop by again before leaving the area.

I stopped here for a few pints and a late lunch after visiting the Natural History Museum nearby. I was lucky to have brought my laptop along so I could sit outside for a couple of hours and enjoy some writing. I enjoyed their house lager, the Brompton SW3 Craft Lager. Not a bad drop as far as house lagers go, good enough to have another couple after the first experiment. I ordered the Brompton burger and chips; had the burger medium. It was quite good, juicy, large patty, well proportioned burger. I had it with cheese which helped, could be a part of the recipe rather than a £1.50 addition. Service was perfect, no complaints at all. Always quick to pull a beer, happy and polite. Quite a good spot as far as service goes. Overall a good little pub, will likely stop by again after my next visit to the Natural History Museum.

This spot replaced a pub that was closed for about two years - it’s technically still a pub, but they have a piano player indoors, it is great for sitting outdoors in the sun on a nice day, and it seems like they’ve tried to improve it quite a bit from the old pub it used to be (which wasn’t bad anyway!)

First family stop in London. Been raving to my family about the London pub experience and Brompton delivered in full. Truly inviting attitude, cozy yet polished decor and tasty eats. All hit the mark. Not to mention they took my daughters allergy seriously in spite of how busy they were. Hope to be back on our next visit!

Fabulous pub. Not your run of the mill pub food, this place offers way more sophisticated food, along more classic pub food options. The portions are huge and the service is amazing. The owners go the extra mile to make you feel so welcome. We will be back, for sure.

Very enjoyable lunch. A small but quite cosy English pub with oak panels and lots of beautiful old touches. The server was very good at her job , with a memory for 10 orders.

How odd to open a restaurant with no website or access to menu. The Hour Glass was excellent. The reviews for its successor seem somewhat of a mixed bag.

Pub con albergo. La parte pub è molto valida, con buone birre e ottimo cibo. Servizio rapido. Sistemazione anche al piano superiore in ambiente molto tranquillo anche se meno caratteristico.

Clean, fairly priced and nice decor

Very average pasta that felt like it was warmed up in a microwave rather than cooked when ordered. Burger was just fine. Couldn't get all the exhalation exhibited by the reviewers that swayed to try the place.

Nice place, pretty small... But I didn't really understand it. Think it has a bit of pretentiousness, for exmaple they don't sell crisps only olives, no peanuts only salted organic cashews...that kind of thing. So nice but just chill.

Tiny little pub with a capacity to seat about 10 ppl, no really, with half of them on stools! A bit over decorated and over priced but no surprise given location.

love the Brompton Cross and the food , excited to see they are now serving Roasts on a Sunday, however they close the kitchen at 6pm, boooo So no cosy Sunday evening roast dinner available :( Will now have to go somewhere else , disappointed

Very lucky to have this as my local pub, it was a great addition to the area when it opened. The atmosphere is really special as the pub is a unique space which has been decorated beautifully, the staff are lovely and the food and drinks are great.
