We arrived to find the cafe full, not surprising as it serves great food served by polite and considerate staff. We turned to leave, and a staff member told us that he was pleased to see us again, and that there was room at a large table, if we did not mind sharing with strangers. We took him up on his offer. The food and drink were excellent as always, and service was with a smile.Well worth the long drive to Cricieth.

Food is homemade and excellent, coffee is superb. It's not flashy and 'hipster', it's a friendly delight with great staff and a lovely ethic. The atmosphere is welcoming and it's a really nice environment. Just great.

16/02/2020: A very warm welcome upon arrival with a delightful waitress. Beautiful Home cooked Sunday lunch which was superb quality and a very reasonable 2 course menu. Yorkshire Pudding starter with braised brisket was fantastic and the rosy beef was delicious with all the trimmings. Born and bread in Yorkshire I am always very critical but the Yorkshire puddings were perfect. Cheeses were delicious and the Sex Bomb dessert looked divine. Our second time but the first time for the rest of the family and they were all very impressed so thank you.
22/03/2020: YES we saw the sign saying they were doing takeaway.. yaaay , ace idea as this virus is affecting everyone. Our take out on on Mothering Sunday was fabulous . Old smokey , salad Veronique, Roast dinner and lamb tagine . You could not fault it . Quality and taste all there. Really appreciated chef’s hardwork. Thanks everyone LOVED IT

07/03/2020: Lovely café. Good food and lovely coffee. Bilingual dog friendly staff very helpful. Ambience of a 1950’s general store, reminds of ‘4 candles’ sketch!
19/02/2020: Firstly we ended up here after the number one place on trip advisor was not able to accommodate our needs. We were blown away by the variety of cakes and the building is lovely so we decided this looked like a good second.I was told what all cakes were but as there were about 20.. I'm not joking! ... I did say 'gosh, I can't remember all that !' but wasn't told again and no signs on the cakes so you can remember! I chose some peanut cheesecake which was tasteless and really not very nice at all. Husband had banoffe cheesecake which he said was lovely and son had some chocolate brownie that was too dry. The coffees were cold and the hot chocolate was far too sweet. Wouldn't recommend. Plenty of other places in a tiny Welsh pretty village.
