I'm an old fart and been going here for the past 40 yrs. Realy nice turkish used to own it then, sadly no longer. Every time you go these days, the guys serving are either chilling in the back or on their phones. My most recent visit stsrted with a mistake on behalf of the guy serving. Then another and finally resulting in me having to return to the shop for a third mistake. There is absolutely no customer servicenin this place. Just take it or tuff sh!^#. Sadly after 40 yrs i wont be going again.

While working for another takeaway decided had stared at these kebabs enough lol so jibbed in and was lush chips bit hard for me but kebab was well tasty and staff great

Kebab was ok but pizza was awful. Cold very little topping and the base was not cooked. Looked like it was only in the oven long enough to melt the cheese. Won't be ordering a pizza again.

Waited for over a hour called to check rude person said im lying only been 50mins eventually food arrived stone cold appalling service from guy on phone that's why i never bothered calling up again just ordered from somewhere else who delivered within 30mins i was a regular customer never will i order again

Very disappointing! On two separate occasions it took over 1 hour and 20 mins for the food to arrive, which is really poor service and when I called them they didn’t seem very bothered. Plus, the food was only average in flavour. I will be looking for another pizza place in future.

We ordered two pizzas and garlic bread when we received it it was terrible see photos Pizza was not even round a animal gets better food then this and the garlic bread looked like it had been hacked to pieces Rung the restaurant and the guy I spoke to was very very rude and do not deserve any custom

Really enjoyed the food. The staff were fantastic. Prices are low. Would highly recommend this outlet. Will definitely go back again. Would give 6 stars if trip advisor would allow.

This use to be one if not the best pizza shop in Blackburn town centre now it's poor and bland food. The staff seem uninterested in the customers or the standard of food being served. Not all change is good

We have bought a range of foods from here, pizzas, kebabs and burgers. When ordering for delivery the food has always arrived before the time stated and it is always hot and tasty.

Ordered food around 6ish Saturday the restaurant confirmed and said it would be delivered at 6.55 to which they added 20 minutes onto fair enough , it got to 7.30 no food , called restaurant to which he told us it was on the way , we did not get our food till last 8 I clock and it was cold , me and my sister both called the takeaway 3 times in total to which he told us each time he was round the corner! I’d already paid on my card so I couldn’t cancel I was really fuming I paid £10.00 for soggy cold chips and ice cold donner meat had to re heat in the microwave but wasn’t the same! The service was shocking and when we rang them after the meal and told them it was cold they basically said nothing they could do! I’d heard good things about this takeaway and as this was the first time ordering I will never order again!

Food did not expect it to be so bland in taste, the chilli saucd more like a puri sauce. The chicken was bland no kick or spice just grill taste. Not a big fan.

From the outside it looks less than impressive. It is just a simple take away with no eat in facility's. Menu is wide enough for a Pizza / Kebab place with a selection of burgers, chicken nuggets etc. The meat is Halal so don't expect any ham which is substituted for turkey. I have always found the food good for what it is. Not fine dinning so don't expect it. Ive never had a bad experience such as hard lumps in the burgers etc. Only thing to watch out for if your ordering online and it is being delivered is to check the order before they leave as sometimes they put the wrong sauce on or forget to send an item.

waited over 2 hours for our order and when it came it was the wrong order so they tried to swap it back with the other people that had received the wrong order - awful service !!!

Told it would be one hour but it was one and a half it was like warm and part of the order was wrong was of time and space

After a disappointment the first time round, No. 39 delivered my order again after a complaint. They were happy to send another fresh order and the food was spot on.

Food was 10 mins early which was great! Good quality food and the staff were lovely and very friendly. Would defo recommend.

This is one of the oldest takeaways in Blackburn and the only one which does their own home style how chilli sauce. Their donner is probably the best you can get in town, pizzas are also good the base is not like some of the standard ones you get in other takeaways. Only issue is they can get very very busy on Friday and Saturday nights so if you are ordering a takeaway for delivery get your order over in plenty of time.

Wouldn't order again they said they would deliver in 1 hour 15 min and it came 15 min later than that they didn't put the right sauces on the food and the fries was soggy and the smallest looking large chips I've ever seen! And they cost me 70p more than what I would pay from the takeaway I usually order from(Oasis across the road) I only ordered 39 because oasis didn't do delivery until 4:45 wish I would of waited 15 min and I defo would of got it faster than an hour and a half too I don't know how this place has so many good reviews honestly

firstly arrived 20 minutes late without part of the order. Then took an hour and half to re-deliver in which the garlic break was under cooked and chips were soggy. Poor Food, poor service, poor timing

The food was not fresh. Naan bread must have been reheated from before, donner kebab didn't taste right and they forgot the sauce on the pizza. Going downhill....

30 mins late on top of an already 15 mins delay on initial order. Will order again but 30 mins before I actually need too. That way I might get it on time. Food good though.

This was the first time I had ordered from No.39 and I will not be ordering again. I placed my order at 8.20 and my food arrived at 10.pm. On arrival the pizza was squashed and and Luke warm.

The food was good, but took longer than expected. There was an issue with an item being left behind. However that was resolved professionally and super quick.

sent order back as it arrived wrong, takeaway did offer to remake though, but due to waiting nearly 2 hours we declined the offer......must have been really busy tonight as normally 39's is spot on

The most rude staff I've ever come across. Sent my order, half was fine. the rest was stale and inedible! discoloured and stale kebab and chips. Rang for a refund on those items, and because I'd tasted it I was refused. probably wanted to send it on to the next customer! wouldn't recommend at all, there are cheaper takeaway in blackburn with better quality and price :) I'll never order from here again after how he spoke, I binned the whole meal. I have tried asking on all my orders .plenty of salad and garlic butter on all items! Little salad not how we tick the boxes...no garlic sauce or no garlic mayo even! Your driver was very rude to me ..ringing me 5 times on my mobile...ranting at me ..quite clearly i`m on the landline hence cant answer mobile...leaving gate wide open ..I have dogs...you open a gate ...close it! I`m tired of asking everytime I order ...I will miss your burgers...nothing else...I miss your parents...they were spot on all the time , new our faces! Internet has alot to learn! I`ve been a good customer yes last order you finally did what we ordered...I need a takeaway at least 95% you`ll get what you order not 35% ..I dont need it...i`m 99% you have lost all my orders ..I need to know 95% the food I order online is what I ask for! Missed my Mexican sauce on my garlic bread and it was 20 minutes late but food quality was awesome as usual

only down side is the extras on the salad was all that came IE no normal salad to go with only extras. and the shish kebab went in the bin was like leather and even if it was good would have not fed a cat.

Our first order with No.39 via justeat (usually order via phone). Unfortunately we had to wait 1h 30mins for food to arrive. Also 2 x salad/sauce combinations were incorrect. We asked to speak to manager who called us back and contested our feedback? Very disappointing. Food quality was very good and meat was tasty but we were let down by the service.

The only reason i ordered from hear is coz the food it good and it is normaly on time but i ordered at 8:15 and did not get my food untill 9:38 well it is not on im really not happy and when i tryed to say that i was noy happy the drive was rude and i rang the shop to tell the and to speak to a manager to tell him about the drive and that the time i waited was not ok and he was rude over all im really angry

Although the food as well as the service provided were great I cannot say the same for the delivery time however I wouldn't say the wait wasn't worth it as the food was delivered warm even though it was an hour late, I will definitely order from here again but just to make sure I will probably order early than I would actually plan on doing. So to anyone wandering if they should order from here I will say that you should definetly do it but be prepared to wait. If next time I do order and the delivery comes in time then I will change my review

Exceptional as always. I'm sure the Mexican sauce was a bit spicier than usual this time round. But a delightful experience nonetheless.

Almost two hours to arrive, and the food was mostly cold. other than a portion of chips which were somewhat warm. I hate leaving bad reviews but this the second time I've had cold food arrive so late from here!

Very angry. I ordered food with a provisional time of 20.45 which was adjusted by the takeaway to 21.10. The food was delivered at some time prior to 20.20 when I was out. I received no food and would like my account recrediting.
