No 30 Cafe in Brighton and Hove

What a beautiful little cafe! Lovely and clean, very good prices and the food is gorgeous. I had an egg, mayo, watercress and tomato sandwich on brown bread and it was to die for! SO FRESH! Customer service is always very good, the lady is lovely :) WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Good value veggie menu. Poached eggs on avocado toast was really tasty - well seasoned with chilli flakes. 😛 Speedy service. Sat inside on a quiet, grey midweek morning - comfortable but no frills or pretentious - local radio and local people chatting. Worth a visit if in the area.

Popped in here for a late breakfast. Nice selection of option, all vegetarian. I had a lovely organic scrambled eggs on toast. Reslly good quality and value

Delicious smoothies, coffee and cookies when we visited, and child and dog friendly. Very clean and pleasant to sit in, and also has some outdoor seating.

I used to work in the Portslade area and had plenty of time to try all the local cafés on my lunch break before eventually settling here. Steph, the owner is an absolute delight and radiates warmth that is sometime vacant in other cafés. She has a breakfast and lunch menu with sweet and savoury options, including smoothies, cakes, cookies, sandwiches and soups, all of which is reasonably priced. She is very attentive and will ask you questions to make sure your order is absolutely correct and you have it the way YOU like it. My favourite thing on the menu here are the soups which are made with Steph's special homemade touch of course! Not one soup has been a miss for me! There's outdoor and indoor seating available, all appropriately socially distanced. Her helpers and assistants are all fabulous, particularly Ellie who makes the best Cortado! I am leaving Brighton now and will surely miss this place on my lunch breaks but I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone, veggie or not! You won't regret it!

Lovely little clean cafe, had myself a breakfast muffin with a vego sausage & cheese, a dab of mustard, washed down with a cup of expertly prepared coffee & served by friendly proficient staff. I'm certain I'll visit again & gnaw through the ever evolving menu & wipe my paws clean on the handy corner mounted Shih Tzu!

This little gem is in Portslade high street, I am not a vegetarian myself but I had the nicest matured cheese and chutney sandwich there. Steph & Claudio make the place with they sense of humour and warmly welcome, the banter between them is great. The food is delicious and don’t forget to say hi to bear, the nice pooch. Great coffee and brilliant food I have avocado on toast with poached eggs and the eggs are cooked to perfection the owner is wonderful so friendly . Highly recommend this place

Excellent food and service, I’m a big meat eater and although I wouldn’t normally try vegetarian I thought I’d give it a try, I’m hooked now the food is amazing and I keep going back, it’s made me realise I don’t need meat all the time. The quality of the food is amazing and so tasty. The staff are great and there’s always service with a smile. Thanks for converting me.
