Nirala Sweet Tooting shop I bought a cake yesterday from Nirala. The one in Tooting…. it was totally rubbish and out date. The cake was not fresh and the taste was horrible it was so bad we can’t eat the cake . We through all the cake in the bin. When I asked the man there if it is fresh he lied to me by saying it is fresh. I don’t recommend anyone to buy cake from this company wast of your money and you feel insulted in front of your guests . Never and ever buy anything from them they sale the out date items to you

I visited the southall branch. I've given one star for the fact that the food quality was good. Other than that, the place is run by disinterested, useless staff who believe they are doing you a favour by selling to you. We were stood by the cakes, deciding on which one we would like. Suddenly the guy at the counter said, are you going to buy, i need to go on my break... Oh I'm sorry to disturb you in your shop and want to give you my money. Don't let me get in the way of your schedule... Needless to say, my good money will NOT be spent there again.

We were visiting lots of shops in Hounslow to occupy our grandaughter, whilst babysitting, decided to pop and in to take a look at the wide range of treats. The staff were very accommodating and even gave us a free taster sample. We will definitely return and buy some.

I wanted to order a cake and checked the website for prices and design. The website looks like it was created by a 10 year old. Totally unprofessional. No cake design or process. I called the Hounslow branch and asked them if they could direct me where I can check the cake design. The lady, with poor English could not understand what my request was. She passes the phone to another gentleman with poor English. When I made my request, he simply said ' Call the head office ok!' and slams down the phone. These grey imports need to realise we are in England and not in Pakistan!

First would like to say the sweets I had there had good taste. But looks like the staff attends to you based on your attire and the extent of the sweets ordered. I felt rude when the staff suddenly asked me in a rude manner that what we want to pack while me and my kids were looking at the sweets in the stall to select. I should start looking for another shop to get some good sweets and a place who respects customers. What this shop lacks is respect and customer service.

There is nothing that beats Nirala when it comes to birthday cakes. Every occasion we have in the family the cakes are from Nirala. Me and my sister bought a black forest cake on Saturday and it was absolutely delicious and fresh. The staff was very helpful and kind. Definitely going back again. Thankyou for the great service and delicious cakes.

Worst staff ever seen I would say i never ever had worst service like nirala sweets green street. The staff is so illiterate to understand . Worst customer service . Poor management with no manners and no respect . So if you are visiting them please be very careful of your own respect because they don’t have any idea to treat their customers with respect . The cakes are absolutely rubbish . They are selling old stuff . I reported already to health and safety to newham Council and I hope council will take action against management. Please please don’t trust on cakes and sweet .

We have been to Nirala twice now, having never tried Indian sweets before. The first time we went, the gentleman at the counter gave us a selection of sweets to take home for free! The second time we visited, I paid for a few different types of sweets but I wasn’t sure which to pick as there were so many different kinds! The same gentleman as before served us and he was again very polite and kind and suggested numerous different types to try. On both occasions we experienced excellent service, and the sweets are definitely worth trying as they’re very tasty!

We go to Nirala over the weekend. Every Sat and Sun, they serve a yummy breakfast of Chole puri and halwa. A large plate costs £13 (comes with 8 puris) and small one costs £7 and comes with 4 puris. The helpings are very generous and the taste is extremely delicious. We have been there numerous times and the taste has always been the same. The place is simple and service is good, but you wont go there for either. The only thing that you go there for are the 2 dishes that I wrote about. And it is the same 2 dishes that will make you visit again and again. A total value for money breakfast.

They don't know how to make channa curry for puri, it tasted like several chickpeas in warm water with raw onions and spices, if you want to eat proper halwa puri of pakistani flavour, go to Karachi Cuisine in Norbury, their taste is authentic pakistani halwa puri chana, These Nirala ones don't know how to make it. Also, there was no disposable cups available, they end up giving us tea in mini espresso cups. Puri itself was not too bad and tea was good and halwa was average. Disappointed with Chana curry totally

We been here a couple of times for sweets and decided to try halwa poori which is Indian breakfast. However, it was very disappointing poori was thick, heavy and soaked in oil. Chole were very blend and were no way close to actual chole more of a canned chickpeas cooked in some gravy. Halwa was ok but you can avoid it.. we have tried some Indian sweets, they are ok but I feel that pricing is a bit dodgy, if you are buying sweets make sure you ask for price and always buy 250gms/500gm/1kg etc portion don't go piece wise as they will overcharge you.

Cuando dije ¿por qué no decir de primera. Él era bastante obstructivo y groseramente dijo bien se sienta en su propia elección no fuerza ... Y lo que él reír a mí, ya que estoy pidiendo comida. I was in Hounslow on Saturday Afternoon. Saw this shop and went in to buy some Sweets. Not one of the best ambiance in the store. For 15 minutes I was wondering in the store, before someone approached me though they were no customers in the store. I asked for a common specific sweet, the person didn't know what it was and went to ask some-else and he didn't know either.I could have left the store disappointed, but decided that as I was there, I purchasedsome sweets, which I asked for 250gms of chocolate product. The person went to his colleague and started making fun, which I could over hear"250gms great sale". First of all they should get their house in order. They don't understand the product they are selling, plus a sweet shop hasn't got a popular sweet, which they don't know what it is?One should remember that a customers has made an effort to walk through door and should be respect irrelevant of what they purchase. The product may be great but if the customer service is poor, survival is questionable. It is the same quality of service in the Southall shop. The only shop which values its customers is the one in Green Street. This sort of places do slowly disappears, because of poor customer service.

I went to this Nirala as its closer to me than the Southall one, it was my first time at this branch. The branch is very modern and the deco is brilliant, although i didnt go upstairs where the restaurant seating is.On entry i could see that few people were in queue and ordering, there were alot of diff variety of sweets, savouries and cakes.I was in need of a sweet basket for a wedding and chose the nirala branded yellow basket which was £32 for 3kg sweets. It had a bow on it too and u could chose diff colors. I was in the queue waiting for someone to serve me for fifteen mins, there was only one guy at the till. There was no connection between the customer service rep and the customer. After twenty mins i got served by another guy who didnt thank me for waiting (and by this time there was a long queue) I told him what i wanted and he went off to collect the basket without telling me, i thought he had ditched me! Came back and started filling the basket. None of the guys actually knew how to serve customers with a smile. After forty mins i was finally out of Nirala. Was not impressed with the customer service at all. Worse forty mins of any sweet shop I've been in.

I've been here a couple of times. This is a joint that's just opposite the Hounslow bus station. It's one of many Nirala branches in the UK but it's the only one I've been to and it is very good: all the sweets are freshly made everyday as far as I can tell and very authentic. I've tried the Gulab Jamun which is fabulous and the Jhangiri or Amriti is pretty good. The staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. Value for money is very good i.e. I bought 5 jamun + 1 Jhangri for £3/$5. That's real cheap in this part of the world.Ambiance is fairly simple but nice and well lit. It's spacious enough. They have a restaurant on top that serves Indian / Pakistani food and they've got a special Poori Masal and Sweet breakfast offer on weekends.I think they're great. Highly recommended.

Visited Saturday after England v SA rugby. Booked a table as we thought it might be busy but they had no record of booking so ended up on table near the toilets and cold entrance door. Busiest thing about the place was people leaving without eating! We observed at least 10 people leave within 20 minutes of sitting down and others who complained of waiting 45 minutes before being served. Fixed menu at £21 per head not exactly extensive but even then they struggled to bring the food in the right order and even then it was poor quality and/or cold. If the food had been served in Mumbai or Delhi 93 rupees (£1) maximum cost but it would have been better quality and service. Avoid the place until someone learns how to manage a restaurant! Although one plus was the Bollywood singer who wasn't bad.... pity he couldn't cook food and serve the tables!!
