I was very full in the end, thought it was a good place to eat. Happy with the amount on my plate, and I’ve never seen food come so quickly!

Looks simple but the food is super nice and the portion sizes are generous

Thai version The food is delicious. Ordered pork fried rice + chili curry fried rice. I asked for more fish sauce chili and the seller was very kind and made it as well. The food is delicious and you'll feel satisfied when you eat it, just like you're in Thailand. The iced tea was delicious and fragrant with milk. I wish you many customers. English version The food is delicious with authentic traditional Thai flavors. You can request the taste just the way you like it, and it always hits the mark! The staff are lovely and polite, and the Thai milk tea is perfect! rich and flavorful, just right :)

Came here for lunch with 20 colleagues from work. We were looked after. For many it was our 1st taste of Thai food. A fantastic range of dishes, great value and served with charm. Very casual dining and ideal for sharing.

Ordered the asparagus and king prawn (a special), asparagus and prawns were rubbery and bland. Gravy was watery and the emulsion had broken, and the rice was gummy and lame. Green tea was a tea bag in a mug, and there was no place to dispose of the bag after the tea had steeped, ended up using my napkin. Decor is tacky without being endearing, and the chairs have loose cushions on them whuch make getting comfortable impossible. I heard good things coming in but was very disappointed.

Pad see ew more like just um ew… pretty much tasted almost nothing like the dish except the fact there was rice noodles and some sauce. Some of my chicken was also a little pink which of course caught me off guard.

Taste is great! This is a really nice place to have dinner and spend quality time whilst enjoying a good meal. If you are around, try any of the curry meals... they are great!

The tomato flavor of Tom Yum Goong soup is strong, with a bit too much salt, not very authentic

I'm really sorry Nings but that Pad Thai was terrible. I was expecting flat noodles but that wasn't the problem, I can eat round ones, it was everything else that was wrong. It was just a mass of noodles swimming in an overly sweet sauce. Adding a few crumbled peanuts and a piece of lime didn't make it a pad Thai, or make it taste any better, there was literally nothing good about it.

Friendly welcoming staff. Great tasting food and drinks served promptly. Good value for money and open 7 days!

Went last night for a 21st birthday food was beautiful asked for a Jungle curry which wasn't on the menu it was lovely and spicy very flavoursome will definitely return again.

5 of us went last night for a birthday meal the food, service and cocktails was absolutely fantastic we all had a great night cant wait for our next visit already

Hands down the best Thai in Sheffield, papaya salad and the pad thai especially are so authentic and delicious! One of the big things about Nings is that the takeaway is excellent, a lot of other Thai places don’t take away very well but Nings always does.

Came to eat with friends we ordered 3 different meals being the fried holy basil, Thai red curry and the stir fried sweet soy noodles. It was absolutely gorgeous to say the least. Staff very friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend if your looking for some authentic Thai food in Sheffield!

Stumbled across Nings Thai street food after a long day of being in Sheffield and I must say was such a hit !! The food and atmosphere followed by friendly service is all you need. Prices also are perfect for the portion and taste that you receive. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for some authentic Thai street food !

I have been eating at Nings for a few weeks now and it never disappoints. The food is so tasty which is all at such a reasonable price. The service and atmosphere fits perfectly with what you need after a long day. Deffo recommend for everyone !

Very disappointing. Pad Thai was very sweet and sickly. It consisted of 90% noodles and not much else. Considering the price this is so unacceptable. It was missing almost all the toppings you’d expect in a pad Thai. Not to mention it barely had any meat. Really bad.

I've had 2 brilliant meals in the restaurant, they were delicious and fresh. Our more recent takeaway experience knocked off one star, I found the Pad Thai too sweet, and difficult to eat all of it. But my positive experience in the restaurant would make sure I try it again!

Green curry, flavor is nice. However, quite salty and lack of coconut flavor Crispy Basil pork - no basil leave, no deep fried basil leaf (where is the crispy) more about saucing stir fried than what is claimed Cash prefer

A lovely authentic quiet place to have lunch! Me and my husband had the massaman curry and Tom yum with pork belly and spring rolls. It came to just under £30 and it was so delicious! Very authentic homemade flavours and prompt service- thank you!

It was a quite Sunday evening, but so glad they were open. Decent Pad thai but not the best I've had. Large portion, decent price!

We chose a stir fry belly pork with red curry paste , vegetables and Thai basil with rice. It was very tasty and the fresh veg combined with rich pork was delicious. We also had a sweet soy flat noodle dish with prawns and veg. This was so tasty and I think it had stir fried egg in it too that had just mopped up alot of sauce and was so tasty. Great event. I don't think I would have honestly walked into Nings had it not been for this event but the food was so lovley and fresh, menus easy to understand, and the fresh white interior was comfortable and clean. From day 1 ning's Thai food is always spot on! The taste, the quality, the portion! Service is always with a smile. This is the kind of local business we need to support. Definitely recommend the salmon pad Thai and the grilled pork with stick rice, and honestly everything. Can't go wrong. The good, the quality and the service. It carries well too as in always craving it so I get it delivered quite often lol

Tried Ning’s for the first time and I would have say it is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to in the UK. We had the seafood Tom yum and prawn green curry. The prawns were nice and big, and the squid was tender. Definitely would go back again.

Tried Nings tonight for the first time, the best Thai food I’ve ever tasted, we’ll definitely be back for more

Worst restaurant experience in many years. Hungry as hell after a walk around the Peak District we chanced upon this place on a Saturday afternoon after seeing a 4.7 rating on google. We got our starters in 2 minutes and that was the first red flag. The chicken satays were chewy and definitely microwaved. The main arrived 3 minutes later. All reheated, prepared at least the day before, mostly inedible. Everything was poorly made, made with poor quality ingredients, meat hard to find, profanation for Thai cuisine.

First time here, had the Stir Fried Sweet Soy Noodles with crispy pork belly, and a Thai green tea....incredible 😁😁

Firstly, my dining experience was good. Service was warm and dishes were served promptly with fresh wok air. The price is unbeatable! For some quick Street bites to fill the hungry stomach, this place does. However, I could even brag that my own Thai home-cooking minced spork would taste way better. The chef skipped many important ingredients, I.e lemon grass, lemon leaves and basils, most importantly. Loads of onions, not fully cooked, were put inside as substitute, which did not offer the same level of flavor. The Pad Thai is too sweet, which dominates the whole dish’s taste. Maybe I am not familiar with Northern Thai style. I honestly believe the chef is good in cooking techniques, but a better recipe shall be updated even after taking the budget cost into account.

Bad experience. A lot! onions in the Tom Yum soup, not tasty at all. I had delivery, and they didn't give me a spoon or a fork. When I called they said it should be written in notes. I thought it is obvious to put spoon and tissues! I “drank” soup like a cat..

Loved it. They serve amazing Thai food. The menu is detailed so don't have to worry if we don't know any dish. The atmosphere is nice as well. One can sit and enjoy the food if alone or can have a great chat if with friends and family. The people there are very nice and friendly. Do visit once.

Staff attitude is really bad. Ordered a broccoli fried prawns £11.99, counted only 4-5 pieces of broccoli across the box. I called them up and they were rude and said it was my fault that the amount was not enough and I should have ordered more. Later on we went back to shop bc they told me to. She started screaming at me infront of other customers. I understand running a small business is not an easy thing but the customers pay money for the food so customer do deserve some respect.

Good portion size, zero fuss (incredibly humble looking settings) but authentic Thai food. I also vouch for the spiciness (I had tom yum soup which blew my head off!) but again - that just made it feel authentic. Would recommend to try for a dine in experience - support local business! :)

I’ve just ordered a prawn pad thai, prawn fried rice x2 and spring rolls. They forgot one of the fried rices. The total according to Just East should be £24.97 but they charged £30. I called and they said their prices have now gone up. Funny how it’s wrong on all the websites where I can place an order to collect now! The food was mediocre at best. Absolute lying thieves!

We stumbled across Ning's Thai Street Food as we were looking for somewhere to eat near the O2 Academy, as we were visiting the city for a gig. We'd passed another restaurant as it had a hygiene rating of 3 so were delighted to see that Ning's has a rating of 5. The restaurant itself is unassuming in style, appropriate for street food. It's not big but was great for just two of us, and there were several other tables in use. Service was very quick and the food was delicious. We ordered Chicken Satay to share and then I had Chicken Pad Thai and my husband had Belly Pork. We particularly enjoyed the depth of umami flavour in the Pad Thai and the fresh and zingy Belly Pork. It was really reasonably priced too. I wish this place was round the corner from us at home (though it may be for the best that it's not) but I'll have to wait for our next trip to Sheffield to go back again.

Working away in Sheffield I have been here at least once , every week ,for the past 4 months, the food Is absolutely brilliant, the staff brilliant and the price is right ... absolutely recommended!!!! One of my favourite places to eat !

Relaxed atmosphere, the servers were really friendly and professional. The food was excellent. We didn't spend much but that didn't deter the service, which is always a good sign. It's a shame we can't go back since we were in Sheffield for only a couple of days.
