Newtown Kebab House in Powys

My black olive and pineapple pizza was absolutely delicious.

Myself and my family were on holiday staying at Love 2 Stay mid Wales just outside of Newtown. We ordered a couple of pizzas for the Kids and a Mixed Kebab for myself. I have to say, it was one of the best kebabs I’ve had in years. The meat - Chicken, Kofte and Doner tasted really fresh and was still lovely and hot after delivery. There was a lovely amount of fresh salad and a decent sized pitta. The chilli sauce was just the right heat for me (I like it hot). The kids raved about their pizzas - Hawaiian and Meat Feast. I must admit I forced a slice of my daughter’s pizza down and it was really nice. The guys at Newton Kebabs were really helpful and even though our site was just outside of their delivery parameters they delivered right to our door (£5.00 delivery fee). If you’re staying at Love 2 Stay and fancy a Kebab/Pizza/Burger, I would fully recommend this place. Well done lads, keep it up!!!

Ordered margareta pizza tonight but instead recieved pepperoni. Partner could eat but I could not and no answer when calling to complain/exchange.

Very slow, dont always have meds ready

Back in November 2020 I was in Covid isolation and placed an order online for delivery, I stated I was in isolation on the order and the main guy of the shop delivered it, he wasn't arsed about distancing from me and even called me lazy because I was just round the corner, what else was I gonna do in isolation? Completely careless and rude, haven't been back since and they were my go to kebab shop 🤣

Very poor mixed kebab do not use this kebab shop my dog would not even eat any of it

Very friendly staff, and seems to be family owned. They also have shops in Welshpool and Llanidloes, and there were a couple of other places in Powys that looked like a very similar design.

Horrible food spoke to staff was told that’s how kebab meat is in wales...err it’s wales land of the sheep wouldn’t take responsibility for horrible food avoid this place at all cost should be shut down

Great service delivery. Pizza was very flavoursome and packed full of toppings. Mixed kebab was on point. All food arrived piping hot bloody lovely.

Rude staff and over priced! I paid over £7 for a large kebab on nan. After returning home and opening it I found a few peices of chicken in a tray with a pita bread dumped on top. The salad was basically a onion with 2 very small pieces of tomato and 2 very small strips of lettuce. And also the chicken nuggets I ordered for my child were covered in salt. I certainly won't be visiting here again and I would recommend people to avoid at all costs!

To be honest the kebeb could have been cooked for a bit longer.. I did request it to be well done and was prepared to wait. Also £6 for a large portion of kebab meat is more than average, and its not really a large portion, more medium large..

Very good food. Always hot. Only 4 stars because sometimes they make up the prices. Eg a while ago the boss saw me with a £10 note in my hand and said that would do, when I was expecting to pay less than that. So be prepared to haggle if you're having something not on the price list.

Fish was as thin as paper, chips where good tho!
