Newtown House Hotel in Havant

Hotel was beautiful, location was good. I missed on the website restaurant closed Mon and Tues and breakfast is only served between 7-9am and instant coffee!!!!!! Valarie is such a sweet lady, kiddos to still working at 80 years old. All staff was pleasant, hotel was very quiet.

12-4-25 stunning looking hotel, old. Lovely double room. Super comfy large bed. Clean. Tea and coffee making facilities in room, plenty of supplies. Great folder in the room containing information about the hotel to make your stay great. Super breakfast in the morning, everything you could think of, cooked breakfast, cereals, juice, tea, coffee, toast etc...... plenty of everything. Large bath, great hot shower. Large cupboard space. Great decor in the bedroom and throughout the hotel. Friendly staff. Nice bar area, loads of outside seating, extremely well kept garden/grounds. Loads of parking. Would definitely stay again.

What a great find this was, nice spot for a coffee and an excellent lunch, great value, relaxed and all served by a happy and helpful team.

Went here for Sunday roast. Staff, hotel and food were amazing. I will be going back.

It is a great location for visiting Hayling Island and the surrounding area. Breakfast was great. Service was attentive.

As a local this is a refreshment establishment. Recommend it for a drink and food in relaxing surroundings. Nice garden. Great staff.

Visited here to attend a family wedding and stop over after the event. The wedding venue was suitably sized for the event with sufficient space to accommodate the people, the food was average and took forever to be served, leading to a hurry up call! The hotel rooms were paper thin and our room was noisy (turned out to be the hotel night porter himself) however my son also stayed and had to chastise other guests for being noisy. Overall the venue was ok and I would be happy to attend, but would look elsewhere for accommodation.

Here for a birthday party. Function room was good for the occasion. About 40 on a Sunday afternoon. Buffet lunch was good and well thought out. Next time I am in the area I would visit again.
