Amazing little spot! Food is unbelievable and the owners are so lovely! Definitely worth a visit. This is the second time we have been and will be back for more.

Excellent! Gail and Keith welcomed us in at lunchtime, even though we had two young grandchildren with us. They made some changes to some of the food, so our 2 year old granddaughter would like eat what was on offer. It was lovely to go somewhere different with the kids and not feel like a burden. The food is always superb and you are made to feel truly welcome. We have been several times as a couple, but Newton's is very family friendly too. 10 out of 10.

What a delightful place this is, a great ambience and a warm welcome from all the staff. A relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly and professional. The food was superb, every dish was tasty, and there was plenty of choice. Can't wait to come back and taste the remainder of the menu. Full compliments to the chef.

We have visited this restaurant a few times and have therefore tasted most of the varied menu. The food is excellent and always fresh. Service is excellent, friendly, accommodating, patient and helpful. We certainly recommend this restaurant, whether for a single person, or a large celebratory meal.

We spent a relaxed & enjoyable evening at Newtons on Friday night. The weather was warm enough to sit in the lovely courtyard at the back. Keith & Gail were perfect hosts as always, making us feel very welcome. The Romanian Pinot Noir was excellent which complemented the different dishes we ordered. The chilli beef wraps are a must try (we ordered a second round as usual) & the chorizo in brandy is so tasty. Newtons is our favourite restaurant in Bourne and it always feels like we are visiting old friends.

First time, but certainly not the last. Firstly we were struck by the cleanliness of Newtons. Now to the food. Just wonderful. Beautifully cooked, very tasty and well presented. Although we didn't eat out on the terrace, it looked lovely.

We visited this restaurant for the first time for my partner's birthday. I use a wheelchair and I had checked in advance that the restaurant was wheelchair accessible (which it was). We chose bread and olives as a starter, had four tapas dishes and shared a dessert. The food was excellent and the portions a good size, so much so that we could have possibly just had three tapas dishes. I had one glass of wine, my partner had two glasses (as he wasn't driving). The wine was good. The waitress was pleasant and helpful, as was the owner. It was a quiet evening for the restaurant so our dishes were served quickly and all at the same time (which is quite unusual for tapas dishes, but this wasn't a problem). The owner took us to the toilet which, although is not called an accessible toilet, I could use. They is a little step into the toilet but the toilet is a large room with plenty of space. The owner also showed us the courtyard garden eating area which looked very pretty but it was too wet to sit out there on this occasion. We would recommend this restaurant and would visit again in the future.

This is a hidden gem in the middle of Bourne. Wonderful food, great hospitality and a lovely atmosphere. There were 4 in our party and we had 2 dishes each - expertly guided through the menu by Gail. Food was all amazing with great textures and flavours. Biscoff cheesecake is to die for! :-)

1st visit having recently moved to the town. Warm welcome from the staff and a very nice ambience inside. Food was delicious, and the ribs and marinade were outstanding. Everything cooked fresh to order with generous portions of everything. Highly recommended and well definitely be back soon.

We couldn’t have been made more welcome by all the staff. Everyone was very attentive. It was made clear from the start that we have the table for as long as we wanted. The food was delicious and anything we couldn’t manage to eat was wrapped up so we could take away with us! Definitely will be returning when we are back visiting again.

We visited Newton’s for the first time for a family celebration and thoroughly enjoyed an excellent meal with great wine. There was a wide choice of tapas and between the thirteen of us, we managed to try most of the dishes. Every one was first rate, whether meat, seafood or vegetarian options. Highlights included the savoury meatballs, and the delicious chocolate brownies. The service throughout was exemplary, seamlessly blending professionalism with warmth. From the moment we stepped in, we were made to feel very welcome and the host made sure we were well looked after. Newton’s is highly recommended.

Went for a birthday treat i was 76,thoroughly enjoyed it all the food was lovely and the couple who ran it were great,couldnt fault anything.

Warm welcome by the couple. All tapas dishes were delicious, loved the chilli prawns asked not too hot and were great. The best dish there was their chocolate brownie OMG 🤍 delicious.

I tried Newtons Wine Bar based upon a recommendation as I neither drink wine or generally favour tapa's style eating. This visit however changed my mind as Newton's may be a wine Bar but it also sells well kept draft beers and the tapas dishes were very tasty leading me to enjoy a very pleasant evening. As result I will be returning for more in the near future.

This is the second time we have visited now and have not been disappointed! The food is exceptional, a small menu but each dish is exquisite! The fall off the bone ribs are particularly amazing! Can’t wait to visit in the summer and sit outside in their lovely terrace! Will definitely be back

My neighbor and I came last minute with my baby for a glass of wine and some tapas. From start to finish we felt so welcome, the service was impeccable, it had such a nice vibe. We felt like we were genuinely abroad, such a lovley outside area, felt very Greek to us! The food was super nice, will 100% be coming back with my husband so we can try the whole menu!!!

This was our second time here and it didn’t disappoint. Food was fantastic as was the wine, would recommend the meatballs, chorizo and bravas. Eating outside was made comfortable with free blankets when it got too cold.

We went for dinner here on the last night before lockdown, having just moved to the area. The owner was so welcoming and gave such a personal service. We went for a birthday, the owner surprised us with confetti, banners and cheesecake. There's a lovely terrace at the back too, perfect for summer. The food, wine and service were amazing with a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We went to newtons bar for the first time last weekend before the 2nd lockdown.The family that own the bar are so friendly and very informative about the wines. We chose a puglia wine which was superb and the individual food plates were fantastic. Crispy calamari and lamb koftas were our favourite! We cannot thank them enough for making our evening very special.

Had a fantastic meal and an amazing Cotes du Rhone. The food is always fresh and delicious and the white wine...chilled to perfection! The red wine is served at the correct temperature to enhance the flavour. Service is amazing! What more can you ask for?

Had a great meal with friends last Saturday. The social distancing and virus precautions were very well set up and made us feel safe. The food was excellent and can recommend the Malbec to wash it down. The menu is varied and more than enough to send us home full and happy. Much appreciated my whisky tot sent over when they found out we were there to celebrate my birthday. Would wholeheartedly recommend Newton's as a place to eat out in Bourne.

A lovely evening spent, the wine choice is really good and not your usual restaurant selection which is great to see. Prices are good and the food is tasty, hot and a good range of dishes. Highly recommend you try.

Our first visit to Bourne and found a fabulous Wine/tapas Bar. Very welcoming and felt safe as they follow social distancing and have hand sanitisers and wear masks. A very comfortable and tasteful decorated bar all facilities extremely clean. This is a family run bar and Keith & Gail were very friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic wine list and good selection of tapas dishes. Highly recommend a visit here.

Have nothing more to say than exceptional food, the sauce on the Patatas Bravas ,The service was one of a kind as usual, they make you feel so comfortable and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied, this is my third time here and my partners fourth, love coming here for the environment, drinks and outstanding food

My first time visiting Newton’s, we came along in a fairly large group to celebrate a birthday. They were able to accommodate for us all and were very friendly and interactive. I was very impressed with the food, the portions are generous and were great quality. I am planning to make a second trip soon!

My first visit here. If I’d known how good it was I’d have tried it long ago. The decor was well presented, the service excellent with very pleasant, friendly staff.The menu was interesting and the food we ordered delicious. It’s good to know that it’s near enough to make a regular choice.

We had a great experience. Keith and Gail run a quality restaurant. The ingredients are fresh and the wine is great. It’s a lovely family run establishment and I can’t recommend enough! Their Covid -19 precautions are top notch and I felt safe and comfortable. I will definitely be coming back! Well worth a visit!

We dropped in here when passing. The owner and his wife couldn't do enough for us. The wine and food were delicious. We had meatballs, chicken skewers, patas bravas, tomatoe salad, brocoli and Stilton croquettes, olives and bread with olive oil. All good fresh and home made to a very high standard. Can't recommend more highly, in fact we've booked a table for 6 next week!

By far the best place to eat in Bourne. The food is always amazing and there is a good selection of quality wines. Keith and his wife are always very welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

This restaurant was recommended and we weren’t disappointed amazing food and service from Keith and family, such a warm welcome, we ate outside in the terrace area and felt we were sitting in a tapas restaurant on the continent 5 stars and a rare find will definitely be visiting again.

Such a lovely restaurant! Food was absolutely delicious- we tried almost everything on the menu and even went back for seconds. All the tables were really spaced out and felt really safe. We'll be back to enjoy the beautiful terraced area at the back and more delicious tapas soon!

We tried this fabulous place for the first time on my birthday. What a great find. The place is immaculate and service fabulous. The food is divine, good choice of wines and so much choice with fresh bread and oils to graze on whilst choosing. We had the prawns, meatballs, skewers and halloumi. All beautiful. The owners are an absolute delight and cook themselves. You can tell they have immense pride in what they do. ( I even got a birthday glass of wine ) Would definitely recommend and we’ll be going back.

Incredible food, definitely the best available in bourne (the prawns and Lebanese lamb koftas are to die for and cooked to perfection) and a lovely range of wines all reasonably priced. Fantastic service and very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Somewhere to keep returning to on a regular. Cannot recommend this place enough!!!!

This tapas bar has been open for just over 2 years and I haven’t never been and what a mistake that was, I wish i had visited sooner. The owners were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you and nothing was any trouble. The food was incredible and had a fabulous pre Christmas treat. Thank you for a lovely evening

We had booked a table for 4 for a friends birthday, from the moment we walked in we were made to feel so welcome, the atmosphere was lovely, and the owners had decorated the table with a balloon and confetti, such a lovely touch for a special occasion. Keith the owner was so welcoming and with his daughter he made sure everyone was well looked after. We ordered, Camembert, calamari, mozzarella sticks, chorizo and king prawns and they were all incredible! Thanks Gail! We had such an amazing evening and will definitely be returning!!!

Myself and my family attended a private birthday party held at Newton’s Wine and Tapas bar on 16/11/2109. I have eaten at the restaurant on many occasions and it’s always so lovely. The food is always delicious and the owners, Gail and Keith are amazing hosts. I would just like to say that yesterday evening was no exception. The food, service and ambiance were perfect and I would definitely recommend visiting their restaurant.

Catering wonderful freshly made Tapas for 25 people with amazing service all evening. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with lots of fun. And of course awesome selection of quality wines and fizz.

I attended a 40th birthday celebration where the party took over the whole of the restaurant. The food was lovely and the service absolutely first class. The family who run the business worked so hard to ensure we felt at home and could enjoy the evening to the full. Totally recommended.

My wife and I work full time with 2 young children. When we get the rare occasion that we can be husband and wife for a night, we need something that ticks all the boxes. Newtons certainly does this!

My partner and I used Newton's as the venue for our joint 50th birthday celebrations over the August bank holiday weekend. We had exclusive use of the whole restaurant including the quaint outdoor terrace which is serviced by it's own bar with extra indoor seating if required. The different areas provide all manner of options for use and the proprietors, Keith and Gail, couldn't be more accommodating in allowing you free hand to decide how to do so but are more than happy to help with suggestions if required. The bank holiday was a scorcher so we had welcome drinks for guests on entering the restaurant and also used this space for serving the delicious home cooked buffet created by Gail since it was a cooler area. Special dietary requirements also taken care of.

Visited on a Saturday night. There was a lovely buzz about the place. The food is wonderful - our favourites were the baked Camembert, lamb koftas, chilli beef wraps & the chorizo in brandy. Keith was welcoming as always and manages to chat to every table which reinforces the lovely family feel of this wine bar and well as receiving great service from one of his daughters. We’d recommend the Primitivo wine from Puglia which went down a bit too easily!

I attended a private function on 25th August and was blown away by this little gem! The sun was shining and the vibe of the terrace area made it feel like we were on holiday!

Visited here yesterday (Friday 9 August) for a late lunch. Sat on the terrace which was very quiet and the sun was shining throughout our stay. Food was of an excellent standard as was the customer service. This is an absolute gem for the town of Bourne and we're so pleased they are flourishing. Plenty of wine choices and nice to see clean wine glasses (ie not stained by resultant dishwashing!). Lovely lunch and we will be back.

A group of 18 of us visiting and we had a great time. Fantastic service and the food was lovely. Great atmosphere and all of us throughly enjoyed the evening. The owners were very accommodating as we were a large group but they kept the food coming and drinks flowing. Great food, loved all of it.

Celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday here back in March and they couldn't have been more accommodating! They took care of everything for us and we had a fantastic time.

Well i'd just like to start by saying how gob smacked i was to see a poor review about the flamenco evening . My husband and i had a lovely evening with friends.

Yet another amazing evening spent with the Newton’s. We joined them for their flamenco themed evening on their wonderful sun terrace. It truly felt like a night away on holiday with music, dancing, great wines fantastic food as always and many laughs with family and friends. Having visited last night for the first time, I am disappointed with my experience.

Visited on Friday night. Some new wines on the menu. Chose a french wine and selection of tapas which was excellent. Fantastic service and a warm welcome as ever.

We have visted Newtons on a few occasions now and it is always excellent. The food is very tasty and service is great. They have a lovely terrace to enjoy a drink before your food. I would recommend trying the chilli beef wraps, meatballs, meat and cheese platters and the tomatoe, mozzerella and feta they are all incredible and freshly made. I really can't fault this place.

This place is perfect! Great food fab service. The family work really hard to give you a warm friendly service. The home made tapas was amazing. We will defiantly be taking our children back. This little gem is defiantly worth a go!

Lovely wine and tapas. Plenty to eat and owner on hand to advise on food and wine. It does normally get very busy so booking is advised.

I went as part of a large work party to celebrate Easter. The atmosphere was great, the hosts very amiable and friendly. Despite the very large table size, service was prompt and efficient. The food was delicious: hot, tasty with generous portion sizes for tapas. The tiger prawns in particular were excellently cooked. I will definitely take my wife along as she loves tapas. An excellent evening.

We didn't know what to expect as we have never had tapas before. Wow the food was lovely and freshly cooked. The prawns were huge and fabulous. Would definately recommend as sensible prices for food and wine.

We reviewed this restaurant in November 2017 when we stopped off there as we drove Through Bourne.We did the same tonight and we arepleasedto say the food is even better and they have a lovely desert menu now wish we lived nearer

We’ve been to Newton’s several times since they opened and the food is always fresh and tasty. The welcome is equally good! Wines are excellent and the prices are reasonable.

My husband and I had our date night here yesterday evening. Brilliant food, great wine list and the service was second to none! Even though the restaurant was full the service was not affected. Absolutely fabulous! The baked Camembert is devine as were the garlic and chilli prawns. Fabulous service. Highly recommend

As a group of six we popped in hoping for a quick drink and a bit of tapas on a Saturday night out, and ended up staying close to two hours. The owners are so welcoming and friendly, recommending dishes (as well as creating custom dishes), and chatting openly to us throughout our visit.

Went for tapas which was not what I expected although I am no expert. Portions were large and expensive for what they were but it was a really enjoyable evening with exceptional and welcoming staff . The mozzarella was lovely .

Newtons is an excellent wine bar with a good 'tapas' style menu which has a Lebanese influence. Located in the centre of Bourne, Newtons has a excellent range of wines at reasonable prices with a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Attended with friends and our children on a Friday night. The owners make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Nothing was too much trouble, the food is delicious and the wine is superb. With the Latin music playing in the background we almost felt like we were on holiday abroad. This is definitely now one of our favourite restaurants in Bourne.

What a fantastic Gatsby themed party. Loved the band, delicious canapés and the attentive service. It was great to see everyone dressed up and create an excellent ambience. Wine perfect and a special mention for the espresso martini cocktails that were a treat. Keith, Gail and family again hosted a brilliant celebration! Made even more special by having snow at midnight!
