Ordered from Uber for a treat, wish I had read the reviews first. Longer than stated delivery time and oven chips, don't bother!

The most disgusting food in the world would avoid at all costs its tasteless unappealing and waste of money and the chips are frozen my grandsons dirty nappy would of tasted better would of give it a zero but it wasn't on crap beyond belief

Don’t know about food but delivery times terrible. Wouldn’t order again!! 2hrs and 3 phone calls later still not here !!!

Tasty food with quick service and very local to me. Always busy but food always good and large portions.

Both my children 2 and 7 ate the chicken and sweetcorn soup and withing ten mins both where vomiting everywhere. All over there toys and presents from r family that had been left under the Xmas tree. Bare in mind this was Xmas Eve. My children spent the evening being sick and after several changes of clothes and bedding and midnight showers they finally settled

We called at 7pm for takeaway, 1h 35m later it still hasn’t arrived. I called again to be advised it would be 10 minutes maximum, in fairness our takeaway did arrive within those 10 mins, but I wish we hadn’t bothered, the quality was shocking! My daughters chicken dish looked anaemic & watery. Our special fried rice & special chow mien in sauce weren’t much better! We were all really disappointed! I’d had a takeaway from here at the beginning of November & it was lovely! Perhaps you need to go in rather than phone up, we won’t be returning in a hurry!

Absolutely disgusting - asked for a Fish, told Cod only, OK, it looked a little sinister when it appeared from the Chinese kitchen and not the old gas range in front of me in the shop, it was very streamlined and didn't resemble a fish at all. Thought its going to be hot I left it wrapped up for 15 mins while I counted on my journey, pulled over and inspected my purchase - first the smell, not good, OK the taste, wet typical of frozen fish, thick slimy batter not cooked through, and tasted like Cod Balls sold 40 years ago. I should have looked up a decent chippy online - my mistake, hope you make the same by going there !

Ordered sweet n sour chicken balls... bit in to the chicken it was uncooked. Rang the chippy to be told they would send a replacement. (Showed the man at the door the uncooked chicken as proof).When the replacement came they only sent a bag of chicken balls.. what good is that the rice and sauce from the first meal had all been contaminated by the uncooked chicken. Not happy at all. My stomachs been iffy all night too. Only glad i noticed before my daughter tried hers. Will not be going there again

Just ordered some food and the chips are cold (it didn't help that the chips were prepared and wrapped then left under the counter while a fish was being fried in the kitchen) and the meat pie is dried out. Obviously been in the warmer for too long. The peas are not "Chippy Peas" and are just boiled Marrowfat peas. Going to give this place a miss for a while as it is nowhere near as good as it used to be :-(

this is very good when it is open and you do not know when it is open very clean and staff good and happy

This is our preferred take away in Newhey and their English and Chinese food is always top notch. My favourite is the crispy shredded beef dish.

Used this chippy for a few months and we have always been accepted for delivery, now all of a sudden on a bank holiday Sunday they have decided this evening we are too far. How utterly appalling. Extremely disappointed in this customer service.

This has been our chosen Chinese takeaway place since I was a little girl and it doesn't disappoint! Love the food here and the staff remember you :)

Small but friendly. Does a good range of Chinese takeaway . Our favourite is the beef in black bean sauce. Always good portions (2 servings off the main menu usually is enough for three). They also give big portions of chips. Price are excellent and I think the quality/ price competition with the chippy further up Huddersfield Rd must help there.!this chippy has been at this location for at least 20 years which says something.
