Newent Kebab House in Forest of Dean

The best kebab in Newent. I eat at least once a week. There is no dine-in facility. All the food here is delicious. But my personal favorite is doner kebab. The staff are good and friendly. They don't accept card payment but you can do an online order and pay by card.

Always great. Today they forgot the chips we ordered but quickly delivered them with complimentary drinks. A*

Had a few takeaways here recently and each one has been spot on, burgers and chips are amazing, first time having the pizzas today and they are great as well. Abut of a delay in the delivery but if your kind to them and understand the issues then they do there best for you, would 100% recommend.

Awful food chicken wasn’t cooked properly chips tasted disgusting and I have a really bad belly today and the chicken sheesh was grey coloured and my friend refused to eat it

the pizza was not cooked on the base, chips were soggy and had a sweet taste to them.

Ordered in for takeaway. Very fast service. Fresh veggies and okay meat. Stupidly massive portions resulting food waste. They don’t take card payments. Overally decent average kebab you can get literally everywhere.

We have noticed that on a Friday evening the fries are no where near as nice as they are in the week. Is it a different chef as the fries are always soft and soggy 😟

Good service, good value and tasty

It was the burger meat that was the problem,

I paid for extra peppers on one of the pizzas and they were missed off!

Will never order from here again, 10 minutes down the road yet it took over 2 hours to arrive. Rang the place numerous times to ask for an update with no real answer, When it did arrive everything was cold, part of the order was missing - shambles.

Ordered a vegetarian pizza. It was piping hot & delicious! Sooo good!

The doner was not fresh and the fries did taste like a week old when you leave it out and re heat it. The vegetables were awfull on it. I loved their food till now dut I think after this I'll need to have a look for an other place sudenly

Arrived to collect food already paid via Just Eat to be told someone else had taken it! Waited an hour or so for them finally to remake pizzas with them laughing at us! I dread to think what they did to our food which wasn't great when it came. Our can of Pepsi had been punctured also. I had all the proof of our order and messed us around so much. I will never go there again. Shame as used to be great little place before taken over by new people. Very very unhappy.

Please don't hesitate to order food from here. Nothing is too much trouble. Portions are huge, quality is second to none. Ordered from a campsite and were happy to deliver directly. Awesome, will use again when in the area, thanks guys 😁👍

Lovely food, fresh salad, arrived quickly and the food was hot. My only gripe is i ordered a can of coke but got a can of pepsi. I hate pepsi! They are not the same thing! However, no stars knocked down as food and service was so good.

We live in the middle of nowhere but food came on time and all food was correct and still very warm, very tasty good food!

A bit late but not a problem. The kebab chicken was a bit over cooked and dry. This is unusual as every other time we’ve had something from them it has been excellent. So I’m putting it down to “one of those evenings”. I would still happily order from them again and I’m sure we will. The delivery people are always very friendly.

Pizza’s are lush! Definitely will come back for pizza! Wish you did stuffed crust however as that would’ve made the pizza even better but nethertheless, pizzas amazing! Driver was on time and was very kind!

Staying at Hartpury college and ordered from here based on good reviews. We weren’t disappointed, really enjoyed it. Great service from driver too.

Outstanding kebab, every-time.

Ordered food was due for delivery between 8.15-8.35 had to chase just eat, food finally arrived 9.25. I appreciate they was busy but should be have been kept informed! Not the best service, wouldn’t even refund the delivery charge!

Food was due between 20.15-20.35. 20.50 and still no food or response from restaurant!

This place had been pretty good with food quality until my last order. I suffered a horrific bout of food poisoning, it was hell. Its a shame but I would advise you dont roll the dice, give them a miss.

Pizza was great. Chips were awful.

Usually they are pretty good, but on this occasion food was delivered late (1 hour after it had dispatched and 15 mins after the estimated delivery) so food arrived cold and the drink was missing. Must improve.

Chicken was nasty salad was nasty

Nice pizza - however we ordered chicken, mushroom and sweetcorn and got chicken, mushroom, onion and peppers! It also arrived 30 mins late with poor communication from the restaurant.

Had to wait for food, was told 5-10 when arrived but was 20 mins later. The pizza is really soggy and not very nice at all.

All was good apart from I didn't realise the chips were missing from my meal deal. Fortunately enough my Pizza was very filling. Probably did me a favour. 🤣

Delivery was even ealier then expected - which was great since we were already ravenous! Great service, immediate delivery, friendly delivery guy and, what is more important, delicious pizza and chicken nuggets (I have never ate such an extraordinary nuggets before!) - would highly recommend it!

Didn't get what I ordered. Had 3 cheesecakes. Not chocolate fudge cakes. Food was 40 mins late and arrived lukewarm at best.

Pizza, chips and onion rings were all really good but the garlic mushrooms were absolutely cremated!!

Ordered on their website. Food showed up 20 minutes later piping hot and was delicious. I highly recommend the burgers with added bacon and extra cheese.

Absolutely disgusting attitude from the manager who told us that after waiting an hour already our food it was on its way and had left for delivery 5 minutes before I called . 50 minutes later I called again to be told the driver was only just leaving and that they had lied about it leaving before . 2 hungry children at 9pm because they lied . Will never order from here again and will tell others not too either due to the attitude and lying .

Order didn’t arrive. Had to go to the restaurant where they told me they lost the order. 2 hours 30 minutes after my original order. Three other customers with the same issue in there.

Excellent food, great delivery!!

Ordered on just eat at 18:09 by 20:00 still sign of delivery. Restaurant not answering the phone. Went to the restaurant to find out out order had been totally missed. Had to wait a further 15 mins. 2hours 40 mins after my original order I finally got my order. A free bottle of lemonade doesn’t quite make up for a £35 order being forgotten. Got home to realise the order was mixed up as well. So so unimpressed and won’t be using again.

Order took over 2 hours to be delivered, couldn’t get through on the phone to get an update. Live chat was useless and not informative. Honestly the worst experience from a take away I’ve had, don’t ever use.
