Generous helpings of excellent food at reasonable prices, with friendly, efficient, helpful service & a patio where you can eat outdoors with a view of the River Tyne & the hills beyond. I found the place by accident, & am now a regular. I especially recommend their fried egg sandwiches (in an enormous bun), their delicious quiche, their original pasties, & their fabulous baked potatoes with salad. (And if you like spicy food, be sure to try their spicy onions - they’re wonderful!) Oh, & don’t forget to try their home-made soup 👍

Love this place … beautiful food , fabulous choice and the service is second to none .. don’t get many places with such great customer service anymore 😊all the food I’ve tried here is delicious and believe me I’ve tried most of it . Lovely place to visit in the summer as the view and seating area is lovely . They do different daily specials and paninis each day which are always top class … deffo not a place to miss .

Love the food from here. Always hot and fresh. Staff are very friendly. They have daily specials which are unreal and you have to try the homemade brownies!

Food is amazing here. Different specials on every day. They are doing proper homemade stuff too. Love the new comfy seating area too. Very relaxing way to enjoy my lunch! The place is immaculate and very inviting with friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. Have your food exactly how you like it - not many places do this.

Had the most amazing dirty fries! Great Friday treat. Very big selection of sandwiches and different daily specials on every day. Staff are very friendly and helpful. You have to try the amazing tray bakes they do especially the salted caramel brownie

2 knives kitchen Unit 43, Hoults Yard Walker Road, BykerEverything from this place is the best! My absolute favourite breakfast anywhere is the 2k breakfast. The syrup that comes with pancakes is special! I recently tried the dipper burger which was very tasty and a great hangover cure. I have to mention the BBQ they held at twobytwo was amazing also. The staff are so friendly and very attentive and the place has a real family feel. My number one restaurant in Newcastle.
