New York Pizza & Wings in Leicester

I've had New York Pizza: oregano over dry mozzarella and a slightly sweet tomato sauce, on a supremely thin, flame cooked, dough. This is typical, UK, Asian, take-away pizza, a step above fried chicken shop pizza, which is fine, but it's absolutely not NY style in any way.

The land line number is dead can't call or track your order online

we ordered off deliveroo and there was a missing item deliveroo would not help us but the restaurant did and they sorted it for us straight away They even threw in some freebies The food is tasty, fresh and arrived hot have ordered before and will definitely order again

Completely unprofessional, ordered on Monday 06/09/21. They accepted my order on the delivery app only for us to wait 2 hours and calling them on repeat just for no one to answer. We had to physically travel across town late evening to find out they were shut yet on Google it was showing as open. Unfortunately I had hyped up their food and ordered it for acquaintances to try for first time, as I am a regular. Now having to go through a lengthy frustrating refund process from their partnered delivery app. Was embarrassing putting my guests through such inconvenience especially after travelling long distance to me. If a simple thing like not accepting orders when closed or even adjusting your google profile to show as closed is so difficult, then maybe do not be in the food SERVICE business. Pathetic to think how many people must have ordered and waited hours and hours for their food only to receive nothing and no communication from the people taking your money.

Delivery slightly late but food wss hot and tasty

Food arrived very late. There were 4 separate errors on the order, including incorrect items. For a pizza place the pizzas were way below average. Chicken tasted old and did not have much of a flavour. The burger meat quality was poor. Would definitely NOT recommend this place. £50 for a meal for two was a waste of money. Never again.

Worst place ever. Order took an extra 45m to arrive, they missed parts of the order that was paid for and in some cases, sent alternative items without communicating. Avoid!

Came here on the recommendation of a friend. Whilst the website doesn't give you the option to minus a topping, it wasn't too bad as we called the order through instead. A polite male took the order and we went to collect (we always collect takeaways). The order was just coming out and was still piping hot when we got home. The pizza did not disappoint, it was really tasty and the base was awesome, not the horrid thick box standard stodgy bases you normally get in pizza takeaways. We finally had a proper halal pizza and we will be back.

Discovered this little gem today after the pizza cravings got the best of me(tryna avoid fast food while in lockdown) I have to say the pizzas are amazing especially the ranch pizza!! If you're looking for pizzas, with fresh ingredients that don't taste like every other copycat takeaway this place is a must!! Looking forward to trying other pizzas and items on the menu.

Great food, burger was one of the best in the city, a nice big beef patty with egg and turkey rashers. Went back for a lamb and chicken karahi and that was awesome too, it had the home cooking feeling. Service exceptional too

Definitely different, not typical burgers and pizza you would find elsewhere. Burgers and pizza was nice, all made with fresh ingredients. Will be ordering again to try rest of the menu. Next time I'll go for something with more kick as today's was missing a bit of a flame on the flavour palette.

Delicious food! Fast delivery I called at 6:30 on a Sunday evening and the food came at 7pm in half very good Highly recommend the New York & wings ! I’ve had two types of pizza, it was really nice and delicious, even the kids liked it. 10 out of 10 Great pizza in Leicester

Wow what an experience . I turned up family were just about to leave . Made me a pizza to die for . The flavours were absolutely amazing a brilliant balance . Have traveled the world eaten many pizzas . For me and my food critic son this definitely number one ever . I had the pleasure of chatting to the young daughters who were an absolute delight . I highly recommend this place . From now onwards any time I crave pizza I'll be going to this place

I love this place the food is amazing, I ordered it for my birthday and they left a happy birthday message on the box of a dessert! it was so lovely!! Especially because in lockdown I didn’t get much of a celebration, so it really cheered me up, the pizza was delicious and the mac and cheese is so good and a great portion size amazing value for money!

Best pizza in leicester . I have had cheese burger pizza Philly cheese steak pizza. Mac and cheese pizza Onion rings and chilli con carne fries . Food was so good I ended up going two weeks in a row . Customer service is brilliant . Very fast cash only. Would reccomend 5 stars

Best pizza I have ever eaten. Very different style and taste to the boring pizza toppings you normally get in this country. The stake and cheese along with the cheeseburger pizza are just incredible. Staff are really friendly and service was as expected. Please note this place only takes cash and for once i don't care when they have pizza that taste like little droppes of cheese heaven.

I placed my order and the money taken for it,when i chased the delivery i was told very rudely by a staff member that they were closed, then they hung up! All of my following calls were either ignored or cut off. Their website states they are open, Google states they are open as well.!

Ordered a number of times and it has been good. Had family over from out of town and ordered. Worst experience ever. Waited over an hour for a pizza. Yes a pizza and on top of that they dont answer the phone. What level of service is this. You have a website which cannot be used effectively. If they are shut or not operating least update your website. You have lost out on a loyal customer and I will make certain other people know of this experience. By the way the food still did not arrive.

Amazing place.... Great pizzas but the wings and the masala chips are out of this world

Worst meal over ever received. Paid for extra toppings on the pizza and got none. Both pizzas tasted like it was made with cheap ingredients. Garlic bread was burnt. Chips were wet and soggy. Mac and cheese was not nice to eat. Will not be ordering from here again. And for nearly £70! Ridiculous pricing for the food we received.

Oh my gosh ...... literally THE best pizza EVER !!!! Do not think twice about this place , just order and you will NOT regret it ! Will definitely be going back ... maybe too much 🙄... very friendly staff too !
