I have just finished a delicious meal in the Station169 restaurant in Stansted. I ate the Lamb and the lemon tart. The food was excellently presented and was full of flavor. The staff were super friendly and efficient and the ambience in the restaurant was great. It is one of those restaurants where you may be a single traveler, but you don’t feel out of place. I would definitely repeat! Thank you to the team at the restaurant, thoroughly enjoyable!

I wouldn't pay 1/5 of the inflated prices for the quality of food. Cold, bland, probably reheated. Limited menu options also, not what is expected at a 4* hotel. The staff were attentive but not particularly friendly. They didn't appear surprised when the burger and chips was returned for being cold. But also not happy to fix the issue. Avoid the pesto gnocchi. The flavour was weak and what could be tasted wasn't particularly nice. It was closer to a ready meal than a £12 main. Don't let the hotel take advantage of the captive audience, eat before you arrive. Very disappointed!

This is a classic airport hotel restaurant. You have relatively few options. You pay well over the odds for good food that just does not justify the price. A 10oz steak for £32 and then you have to add fries or to be honest anything. It just beggars belief. We could not believe when they serve some lukewarm, semi stale pizza bread as if it was a gift. Just dreadful! It's not a good advert for the hotel group, just a rip off...in bloody Stansted of all places! The wine list is full of totally unknown wines that the average sommelier would squirm at offering at these prices. All in all a great con.

This was as bad as the recent reviews suggest. We knew it was expensive for what it is but that wasn’t a concern after a long day of travel issues. But when you’re served an EasyJet bread roll with frozen butter, you know it’s going to be an adventure! I’ll cut to the chase, we ordered 2 medium-rare T-bone steaks. We got a presentable fully done steak which we returned after 40 min of waiting for it (that’s how bad it was!). But the chef returned the block of coarse wood defending it as medium-rare. That was our cue to leave! I would use stronger words to describe this establishment, but trust the reviews and avoid this place. Oh, by the way, Cut at 45 Park Lane by Wolfgang Puck, a world renowned chef, will cost you less at lunch time then this disgrace. I hope the chef can take some much needed perspective from that.

Really shocked at the price of this place even if it is at the airport! Not value for money- although the food was quite nice. 1/2 chicken breast (not even a whole one!) with 1 slice of potato for £24. Only 1 chef doing everything so had to wait 1 hour for food to arrive. Most of the wines over £50 a bottle....please ... it’s not The Ivy ...

Staff have no idea about quality of service. Rush you to order when you haven’t read the menu, and then delayed in taking orders because it’s the end of the night and they would rather you went home. Sent my steak back for lack of understanding what a medium rare is, and it returned in the same state. Extremely expensive for the service and quality of food. Slow. Incompetent for a Radisson. Disappointed is an understatement.

My wife and I are vegetarian and we ordered the vegan fish and chips and Buddha Bowl. The vegan fish and chips were so greasy, there was oil collecting on all sides of the dish and it was like eating batter with nothing inside. The buddha bowl was a ok in taste but was basically just some houmus, quinoa, tempeh and bits of salad served in a bowl (really no prep required whatsoever). Both dishes cost more than £20 each. The service was polite and friendly but they should ask the customers what they think of the food so they can vent their frustrations. In summary food was average at the very best and completely overpriced. This is the start of our holiday and I'm gutted this is how it started.

Well this place should feature on Ramsey’s kitchen nightmares Poor service and even poorer food. After sending the main course back (raw potato) even the second attempt was inedible. Finished off by a plate stacked with a selection of a single cheese. Never have I been offered a plate of one type of cheese “cheddar” This place pitches itself as an upmarket place with prices to match. In fact I would place it in a significantly lower division than a greasy spoon cafe, this would be an insult to most greasy spoon cafes.

We arrived just after the restaurant opened and assumed that we would be served fairly quickly as there was only one other table occupied. Wrong!!! We sat for about 20 minutes before anyone came over. We both had the steak and asked for it medium to well, but were told it could only be medium or well. We both asked for medium and waited for another 20 minutes, which we assumed was for the steak to be freshly cooked. One steak arrived well done, but almost cold, so I assume it had been reheated from earlier in the day. The other steak was almost raw, tough and practically inedible. Service was slow and the bill included a 10% service charge!!! The restaurant was very quiet, with only a few tables occupied. I hate to think what it would be like if it was busy.

We ate there on the evening of 10th December. Firstly, let me say the staff were lovely, extremely friendly and attentive. I ordered Crab cakes, what turned up was unrecognisable but I assumed it was something cordon bleu. It tasted ok but wasn't like any crab I had tasted. I ordered Trout for the main, it looked and tasted very much like Salmon. I'm not an expert and never eaten Trout. My husband had Lamb shank, it wasn't hot although enjoyable. We had a £28 bottle of White wine that wasn't very cold. Later, on leaving, I looked at the menu, for my starter I had actually been given Ham hock Overall, the food definitely didn't warrant the extortionate price. I am annoyed I didn't query my starter. Personally, I wouldn't eat there again, I didn't enjoy it or the £155 bill

Prior to going on holiday this was an ideal stopping off point situated in a very good hotel and what better than to have a delicious steak. The steak was supposed to be medium rare but was undercooked which for a 'Grill Restaurant' is unforgivable. Secondly, a rib eye should contain some marble fat but this was strewn with sinew which resulted in a third of the steak remaining on the plate. It was also expensive which if it had been a good steak I would not have minded. My wife had the chicken which was better but for the price the overall experience was very disappointing. Thankfully the rest of the holiday was brilliant. Chef needs to review quality of produce.

I know that restaurants at Airport Hotels are always going to be expensive but at least if it markets itself as a steak restaurant, you would think that it would know how to cook steak and have some decent cuts. Daughter had requested "medium-well", arrived medium rare. I had Rib Eye, was a terrible cut of meat and barely edible. Service was not great either, were asked what we would like to order before we'd even ordered some drinks, and they forgot one of the sauces. My diet coke was delivered as a regular coke but I couldn't be bothered to correct him.We heard service called for our steaks, but there still seemed to be some confusion about which accompanying sauce we were having! When our steaks arrived they were perfectly cooked for us and were flavoursome, however the steak garnishes were just weird. Two slices of under seasoned large open cap mushrooms in a crisp batter and an anemic looking grilled tomato which tasted as if it had been sprinkled with sugar. I've never had a battered mushroom before and it's not something I want to have again.Overall, it was ok for our late arrival at the hotel and it was expensive for steak and chips.

MORE AT TripAdvisor

I ate here early evening during the week while staying on business at the hotel (reviewed separately on here). NYGB is one of the Radisson Blu’s two in-house restaurants and its dining proposition is modern English cuisine. I last ate here back in the summer of 2014 and was very impressed by the food, so I was looking forward to returning as well as being a bit intrigued, as some of the recent reviews on here have been less than positive. When I arrived promptly at 6pm the doors were still locked – hardly an encouraging start – but when it opened I was the first diner so had my choice of table. The menu is relatively succinct, with around a half dozen choices for each course with a decent choice across meat & game and fish, plus a satisfactory number of vegetarian dishes if you’re that way inclined. The menu didn’t match the ‘current’ menu on the hotel’s website but the overall balance of meat & game to fish dishes was around the same, just the individual dishes were different. It was good to see that game features strongly on both, with rabbit, pheasant and venison dishes that hint at seasonal and locally sourced produce.I ordered the pork terrine starter, followed by pork ribs main. Terrine can often be far too fatty and little more than a thick pate but this one was superb; meaty and densely pressed with a wonderfully crispy outside. It was served with thinly sliced apple that provided ideal acidity to cut through the richness of the meat. The pork ribs main usually comes with fries but I substituted these for one of the sides; chips with chili. This was a twist on the usual pub favourite and was crispy fries topped with a vegetable-rich chili that was bordering on a ratatouille. Even the fries at the bottom of the bowl that were covered with the chili until the end retained their crispiness, so top marks for how they were cooked. The ribs were tasty although I found the flavouring too much Mediterranean-cuisine herbs (notably sage & oregano) and not enough mesquite-cuisine spices. The taste was out of place with the dish. Also, I found the ribs a little dry – too close to having just been marinated and not smothered in a rich sauce. The side order of seasonal greens was close to sensational. For seasonal greens I was expecting the usual standard cruciferous veg but was very pleasantly surprised to receive a bowl that contained courgettes, mange tout, broccoli and asparagus. All had been gently cooked, i.e. not overcooked to the point of losing their colour & flavour, and I think finished in butter. It’s a bit early for the English asparagus season, so I’m guessing that it wasn’t local although the crazy winter weather has caused many growers to harvest early, in which case it was fab to enjoy local produce this early in the year. I also ordered a small pot of the peppercorn sauce, which I always do as a baseline test to see how well a kitchen makes it: this was a smooth, deeply-coloured and rich sauce that excelled on the aroma & taste of peppercorns. It also served as the perfect accompaniment and shameless dip for the restaurant’s unintentional pièce de résistance; its cheese & chili bread. After being seated the server brought a basket of fresh breads that had been baked onsite. The cheese & chili sounded enticing so I tried a couple of slices. It was sublime; a thick, crisp crust around a light, fresh texture lightly flavoured with cheese and interspersed with pieces of dried chilies. I’ve had something close at The Avenue restaurant in Winchester – there it was freshly-baked cheese & bacon rolls – but cheese & chili was even better. Coated in the unctuous peppercorn sauce, it was ‘taken to another level’ (to use a Masterchef cliché) and was a taste sensation.I hadn’t planned to have a dessert but after two very good courses I couldn’t resist seeing if the kitchen could make it three in a row and they did: a chocolate cake with chocolate sauce and salted caramel sauce isn’t exactly revolutionary and the world has just about reached peak salted caramel but this was a solid dish, executed brilliantly. The chocolate cake was light and contained chocolate fondant, not listed on the menu and so a very pleasant when it oozed out as I cut into the cake. The warm fondant mixed wonderfully with the chocolate sauce on the plate, their respective colour & bitterness different enough so that they complemented each other to create a deeper flavour combination in the mouth.Service throughout was attentive & professional; thank you to Adrian who was friendly and enthusiastic. The restaurant space is pleasant with comfortable lighting. There are New York-inspired pictures on one of the walls but that’s about the extent of the connection to the name. It may be that the original menu was more American in general or NY in particular but there is a bit of a disconnect now between the restaurant’s name and its actual proposition; not just the menu but the overall décor and ambience. For example, change the background music to big band swing or jazz for starters, not ambient garage. One other observation would be that the restaurant could make more of its sustainability credentials. The hotel itself has very good sustainability credentials, in line with Radisson Responsible Business program, but these were not immediately identifiable in the restaurant. It may well be that all the meat & game is sourced within x miles or all the vegetables are in season and within x miles (so minimal food miles, high levels of provenance and local supplier purchasing) but if it isn’t communicated then the diner doesn’t know about it.The bill – three courses, two sides, a glass of wine and large bottle of water – was £45. For a meal that combined well-conceived dishes, fresh ingredients, capable cooking and admirable presentation, that’s value for money. It won’t be to everyone’s budget but then the hotel has Filini for the more budget pizza/burgers/pasta end of the market, which is great because there are times when that’s exactly what you want. However, if you want something closer to fine dining in a more relaxed and tranquil atmosphere, then NYGB succeeds very well and is spot on. The bill included a service charge but made specific mention of the ability to amend it, if required: you don’t see that often, so top marks to the management for being transparent and giving the diner the choice. It was also pleasing to see that there was no open tip line on the bill. One of my biggest dislikes in restaurants is the (increasing) trend to add a service charge and have a line for diners to add a tip as well: it’s one or the other folks, not both. Having the choice, I removed the service charge and manually wrote on the same amount as a tip.Based upon the overall dining experience this time, NYGB has maintained its superior quality and I had a very enjoyable meal, particularly the cheese & chili bread that was outstanding. In my opinion some of the recent reviews here are misplaced and fall into the rather disappointing category of people with a very small number of reviews who only leave negative comments and then just for the sake of it. Each to their own I suppose. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and will look forward to eating here again next time I’m staying at the hotel.

I used to love coming here to eat but sadly it has changed in the last 18 months. The menu does not cater for anyone who dislikes red meat. The vegetarian options are highly limited. Haloumi cheese is not a favouirte of many people. Instead I had a starter with some side dishes. These were not memorable at all - quite bland. For the quality of food served up and now the service (it has declined since my last visit in 2013) this place is not worth the money.I'm so disappointed with the very poor variety on offer here and whilst I understand the need for keeping the menu offering relatively simple I think it is a mistake not to have any white meat on offer. Side dishes seem random to me as well. Why on earth would you want a very fishy caesar salad (with only iceberg lettuce and fish sauce) as an accompaniement with any other dish on the menu. Major re-think needed on behalf of the menu decision makers here! In the meantime, if I'm back at the hotel I will either eat at M&S take away or order in a take away.

Came for dinner with a group from work. My burger and chips was fine, nothing special but perfectly OK. Unfortunately most of my colleagues were not so happy - few of the steaks were cooked the way they were ordered - some were overdone and some underdone. People got the wrong sides, etc. Also terribly miserable, sour-faced service. I wouldn't be in any hurry to eat here again.

We visited here in June and our meal was so good I wrote a review praising the food and the service. This visit was the total opposite. I barely know where to start as everything that could go wrong did. The restaurant was very busy in June, but this trip the hotel only had 200 rooms (or occupants, not sure which they meant when they told us) out of 900 and the restaurant was practically empty which would have led me to believe the service would be good. WRONG! We had made a reservation, but they had no record of it, we could see the reservation list and the restaurant was empty, but they still made a big deal out of sitting us down. There were only two waiting staff and it was impossible to catch their eye - they seemed to purposefully ignore us and spent a great deal of time giggling together by the coffee machine. Eventually, we managed to get someone to take our drinks order. They brought the wrong drink so we sent it back and then they brought me a pint of beer... It took nearly an hour for our starters to arrive (there were no chefs in the cooking area) and they kept ignoring our desperate attempts to speak to them. Eventually my partner went to the site of so much hilarity - the coffee machine - to find out what the problem was. He was told 'No problem'. When the starters did arrive - cold plated starters - I asked why it had taken almost an hour for assembled food. We were then told that the kitchen had 'forgotten' our order (by this time there were three tables occupied). The food was poor, the service appalling and they ended up taking our starters and drinks off the bill. The couple behind were complaining that they had found something in their food which shouldn't be there (don't know what) and it got to the point where we actually started laughing at the sheer farce of it all.Come on NYGB, pull your socks up. You may have a captive audience at the hotel, but this is no excuse. Shocking on every level.

Even though I made a reservation via the concierge there was no record of our reservation but we were able to be seated. It appeared there were only 2 people to handle the seating, orders, serving and cleanup. There is an open kitchen and we could see our food sitting under the warming lamps for a bit. It wasn't hot when we got it and the food was mediocre. After traveling all day it wasn't worth it to complain.

La bistecca proposta non era certamente all'altezza del posto e della bella atmosfera del Radisson Blu che ospita il locale proprio all'ingresso. La carne è risultata più ristretta e stopposa dopo la cottura "well done". Stayed in the Radisson Blu Stansted for 2 nights and decided to try the New York Grill Bar. It was not the best steak I ever ate, but it was very good! Actually much better than I expected. The prices are a little high, but I kind of expected that in an airport restaurant in the UK.Tip: Make a reservation with the concierge in advance. The first evening I did not have one and the earliest available table would have been 2 hours later, so I ate at the lobby bar that evening.

Decided to have a meal in here as no one was answering the room service phone - what a happy accident!I had the ribeye, medium rare with chips and a large mushroom. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked and the chips were excellent - nice and crispy and salty. Had the cheese for desert which was a good selection (although would prefer all crackers and no oatcakes, but that's just personal preference).A good Malbec went well with both the steak and cheese and I was a happy customer.

We ate hear whilst staying at the Radisson hotel before an early flight. The menu is not very good at describing some selections; for example the goat's cheese salad turned out to be pieces of deep fried cheese in breadcrumbs with a few lettuce leaves, not much more than garnish. We both ordered the filet steak, medium rare, at £32 per steak. Both arrived at the same time, one was perfectly cooked, the other was completely overcooked. How is this possible? The waitress took it back, and returned with another that turned out to be cold and almost raw inside. On the third attempt the chef finally got it right. We noticed another customer at the next table also complained about his steak. to make matters worse the staff, although they apologised, also spent a long time trying to justify the failings, which was insulting and interrupted us whilst we were trying to talk.

Ate here before an early flight from Stanstead. Being at an airport hotel, I wasn't expecting such great food delivered with top notch service from our waitress, Francesca. My partner had langoustine and prawns followed by rib-eye steak; I had smoked haddock rarebit and pan friend turbot with celeraic and buttered mash. All courses were beautifully cooked, well presented and tasted fabulous. Not cheap, but worth it for food of this quality.

I had some pre conceived ideas about this place as I do about most hotel restaurants but it was booked for a business meeting for dinner. Pleasantly surprised by the quality. From the off we were very well looked after by a very attentive waitress. Starter of white onion soup was fabulous, bread was refreshingly very fresh. My main of venison was superb, cooked to perfection. Wasn't too bad for price, certainly good value for money. The wines were reasonable and again, good quality, would return, I have it mind for the next meeting in this area.

My expectations of busy airport hotel restaurants are pretty grounded and so it was a very pleasant surprise to find that, for a second time, we really enjoyed eating in NYGB. The restaurant wasn't crowded, rather it had a steady turnover of guests, enough to keep the staff busy but they still maintained an attentive service. Our order was taken promptly and the food arrived without delay, it was well presented and flavoursome. I had a fillet steak which was of excellent quality and cooked medium-rare to perfection. I wouldn't normally order Californian wine but decided it would keep with the U.S. theme and we were rewarded with a very full bodied red by Morgan. It was ideal accompaniment for our mains and encouraged us to order the cheeseboard to complete our meal. We were a little apprehensive that our recollection of a previous visit had been enhanced by a family birthday occasion. We were not disappointed and will definitely go back when travelling through Stansted.

I write to express my disappointment with the New York Diner.a) 3 waiting staff however I had to go and get someone to take my order: the reason for this was that there was only one experienced member of waiting staff on. b) One waitress serving the bread didn't know what the breads were.......there were only two types!c) After ordering refreshments, we had to wait still as your sole experienced member was manning the till, and service point.d) I am very very disappointed in the duck serving, I expected a breast but to receive one small leg for £26:00 is nothing less than daylight robbery.e) My wife's fillet steak requested med, was very rare.f) the food was at best lukewarm; only the requested mash and root veggies were tolerably warm.g) The soup was the best part of the meal, it could however have benefitted with a slice of mushroom to link the dish to its origins.h) We had to wait some time to settle the bill; Tara (Zara) was run off her feet settling matters left by inexperienced waiting staff.I am happy to pay for my meal, what you think its worth. I appreciate that you've worked from Commis Chef so perhaps you will understand my complete disappointment in paying £130 for a substandard meal. When asked if I enjoyed the meal I remained (at my wifes insistence) quiet. Usually I'd have asked the chef and waiting staff to explain themselves.I love good food, and don't mind paying for it. Being a regular visitor since the Hotel opened I have always taken a constructive view in dealing with problems and have often praised the Hotel. Returning from Edinburgh on the 18th July to make another booking I decided to have a meal in the New York Grill. I was very disappointed as the expensive steak came up cold and in my opinion was re-heated as it was cooked to early before I had finished my starter. To try a be constructive and due to no real management in the restaurant I wanted to point this out. Duty Managers no longer in place but I was told that the food and Beverages Manager was on. I requested to see him but all he did was to send one of his cards back to me. I knew who he was since i have seen him gain promotion. The training must have deteriorated as how can he see the evidence by requesting me to send him an E mail. Lot to be desired and is this the crunch time for the Hotel?. After arranging many an event it makes you think twice.. This could be due to Agency chefs .

I ate here early evening mid-week whilst staying at the hotel (reviewed separately on here). The hotel has three eateries; Filini (Italian-themed, mass market), Angel’s Wine Tower (bar snacks) and New York Grill Bar for fine dining.I reserved a table in NYGB on the strength of the menu, which is succinct but with a wide range of dishes. It was a bit quiet when I arrived although, to be fair, it had just opened for evening service. It did feel a little ‘on edge’ to start with, the staff as if they were on parade and feeling a little self-conscious. However, it got better as the restaurant filled up with diners; there was more atmosphere and the staff seemed more relaxed and engaging. This may be down to the restaurant using the conversation of diners to create some of its ambience, rather than relying on the incessant drone of background music that is so loud and intrusive you feel like you’re eating in a disco. The menu’s choice is very good, something I define as having to make a choice from 2-3 desired dishes for each course. Starter was the ham hock terrine with homemade piccalilli. This was beautifully presented, with the piccalilli served in its own little glass pot. The terrine was satisfactory although a little too compacted; a decent ham terrine should be loosely-pressed with different textures to the meat.Main course was the bass with cucumber tagliatelle, shallot rings & langoustine salad. Again this was impeccably presented and it tasted every bit as good as it looked. The bass was exceptional; very crispy skin side yet perfectly moist fish side, so that each had its own distinct flavour. The tagliatelle was fresh & light and with the shallots gave a slightly sour contrast to the sweetness of the langoustines. It was served on a bed of samphire – in my opinion one of the most gorgeous ingredients in any dish but sadly very rarely seen. I’m hoping it was also included in the dish because of its provenance as local produce. I ordered a couple of side dishes; heritage carrots with chive butter and triple cooked chips. The heritage carrots were served in their own tiny copper saucepan; whether or not they were also cooked in it is unknown but their presentation was, once again, top-notch. Heritage carrot; like samphire, when was the last time you saw these on a menu? Again, I’m guessing that they were also selected for their proximity to the hotel’s kitchen. The only criticism was that the chive butter was lacking in chive flavour. I would have added citrus instead of chives and glazed the carrots in lemon or orange. The triple cooked chips were dense and lumpen on the inside, with thick, waxy skins. Wonderful to taste and rather useful for soaking up the chive butter remaining in the saucepan.Dessert was chocolate & hazelnut mouse with raspberries. Chocolate mousse is easy to muck up, becoming too sweet and rich, but this was superb: velvety smooth and elegant. The combination with the raspberries was traditional but exquisite and made it a very enjoyable dessert.Service throughout the meal was prompt and attentive – thanks to Nuno my server – even if it did take a while to get going.Including my Concierge level discount, a three course dinner with side orders, a pint of lager, water and a cognac afterwards was £52. Is this value for money? Well I would happily have paid that for the same meal in a city centre restaurant, so Yes.Some previous reviewers have said that it is too expensive for an airport hotel, although just because Chavair flies out of Stansted doesn’t mean you have to cater exclusively to a similar audience. Also, other Radisson Blu airport hotels can offer very high quality restaurants, for example Radisson Blu East Midlands (under the very talented executive chef Paul Clarke) and just because a restaurant is in an airport hotel, why shouldn’t it strive for brilliance? In fact the range of eating options here gives guests a choice often not available at airport hotels; do you want hearty, cheaper meals after a long flight – fine, Filini can provide that. Do you want something a little more upmarket & expensive – fine, NYGB can provide that. The hotel is offering contrasting yet complementary dining experiences. If the restaurant is demonstrating the relevant implementation of Radisson Blu’s Responsible Business program through its sourcing of local produce, I would like to see this communicated better on the menu. The Scoff & Banter restaurant brand within some Radisson Blu Edwardian properties in London – notably NPW – has very impressive sustainability credentials for its food; from memory, most of the ingredients are sourced from within 15 miles of the restaurant. Based upon the individual nature of the menu, its dishes & ingredients, I’m guessing that this hotel may be an independent location operating under the Radisson Blu franchise, as this gives the chef more freedom to compile individual dishes without the constraint of centralised purchasing and the requirement for menu consistency. In NYGB this clearly allows a capable and inventive chef to produce excellent dishes, with good ingredients and very professional presentation. If the hotel at Stansted operates on a similar basis to East Midlands, it accepts both Sterling and Euros (and if it doesn’t, why not?!) and so my suggestion would be that if you’re returning from abroad with not enough surplus Euros to warrant either keeping until next time or changing back, spend them on dinner at NYBG, to round off a holiday and celebrate a nice time abroad.

I was unsure what to expect after such mixed reviews on here.Don't be put off though ok its not cheap but since when was high quality ever cheap? For starter I had the salmon terrine with watercress ice cream, it sounds like a bizarre combination but was actually very very nice but this paled in comparison against the lamb rump for main. I even had to ask the chef afterwards ( they have an open kitchen) how they managed to make it so tender! (the secret is to water bath it for 2 hours evidently no radox required), I was feeling quite full but the lovely waitress managed to tempt me in with a pimms pannacotta dessert which was quite light and very refreshing.SO all in all a great experience but one that I am looking forwards to repeating again

I visited in late April 2014 and I must say I was not welcomed very well: the maitre could not find my reservation and had an attitude which almost made me feel guilty for being there to "disturb". At the end the maitre got me a table saying: "I have got a reservation for a table for one, but this guy is not coming, so I'll give iy to you". I did not find this very professional. When the waitress came to take my order didnt tell me that some items on the menu were not available (surprise surprise, those I wanted to order. Namely Chowder and Oysters). I ordered then the crab cakes (good, but I believe they were made 85% potatoes and 15% surimi), and thenn the pan seared scallops with local pudding and they were very good and wel presented. The fact of having the open air kitchen is very impressive, but I would recommend to have more powerful extractors and also suggest the chef not to put in the plates the food with his bare hands in order to avoid your fillet steak to have a "hint" of pork ribs flavour. Last but not least it is absolutely overpriced
