Good food, great service and some fantastic cocktails. Only real downside I found was they tend to over salt the salad..

The staff were friendly and efficient. the food excellent - cooked and delivered speedily, and the atmosphere relaxing and comfortable. I would/will happily return again

This is a very good restaurant. My old colleague and I are serious carnivores, so we were drawn to this Grill for the choice of meat. Service was adequate but not outstanding. Food was very nice indeed but not sensational and, as this is a top-end London City restaurant with prices to match, maybe we were expecting something slightly better. I don’t know, but when you are paying what you’re paying for a sharing T-Bone, I don’t understand why you have to pay soo much for sides. And maybe worth thinking about a “hot-plate” to keep your expensive steak warm.

It does steak and it does it well. It is perfectly located to Liverpool Street Station (just across the road) and so easy to get to. The venue is comfortable, welcoming, and the waiting staff are friendly and efficient. It's not inexpensive, but the quality of the food is worth it.

The ribeye and prawns was exceptional. And the cheesecake amazing We will definitely recommend Thank you for the good experience

I came on a date to this restaurant, to be honest I was surprised by the atmosphere and service in this restaurant. Let's start in order. We were given a very nice place near the window, where we could see the bar terrace. I asked for recommendations on wine, they called me a wine expert, as I remember his name is John, John recommended a good wine that I and I liked. We ordered steaks, they were very very tasty. We also ordered desserts and they were delicious. I liked the service, the food was brought quickly. I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant.

Fantastic hidden gem within Liverpool street. The food was very well cooked and the steaks were full of flavour, and on request for a wine recommendation the sommalier John recommended a fantastic malbec.

Avoid- mouse in the premise under the tables where you eat, ordered food and cancelled the order and left as the sight of a mouse under the tables where we are eating put us off 1 star is generous

The atmosphere setting and table distancing was excellent, could not fault the service and the food.... well everything was just perfect - bubbles, wine, steak was to die for.... Amazing night out, with steaks and cocktails

Me and my boyfriend went for a birthday dinner and everything was amazing. Starting from the service ending with delicious steaks. Thank you for making our dinner special by a surprise birthday treat as well.

It pains to give this a 1 star for food but this is the reason. Booked for a birthday meal as we normal go round the corner to KOD for a good steak but wanted to try something different. Ordered 2 rib eye steaks bout to be served medium well, they both arrived RARE, now how can you get this wrong when your primary offering is steak. The serving staff replaced the whole meal (good point) but again both came out RARE AGAIN! Now if your the chef and your recooking because of a complaint you would think you would be all over it to ensure the same mistake is not made on the replacement. The staff again did offer to replace it for a 3rd time but we said no as I think all confidence was now lost and the meal spoilt because of this. They did give us free deserts so the front of house staff did try their best to rectify the situation but at the end of the day the issue is in the kitchen and that MUST be addressed

Excellent dinner with four other friends. Setting was very nice and cosy, music was good and quiet when we went to could actually hear each other talking. Great round tables too makes for all round involvement. Most of us had the fish dishes which were excellent.

He advised me on how to order steaks and what is recommended temperature for each cut of beef. would highly recommend to anyone who is going on a date to impress or a business meeting as the food and atmosphere really blows it out of the water!

When I explained what had happened the response was that they are unisex toilets which was hardly an acceptable response. We suggested that the toilets might need to be cleaned but this was shrugged off. That same evening I emailed the restaurant but have had no response. Whilst the restaurant cannot control the behaviour of their diners, the manner in which this issue was dealt with is completely unacceptable.

Sehr ansprechendes Ambiente, sehr aufmerksames und dennoch nicht zu aufdringlicher Service, sowie qualitativ sehr gutes Essen. Wir hatten das 4-Gänge Silvester-Menü und waren sehr begeistert. Die Portionen hätten aber auch etwas kleiner sein können. Die Weinauswahl ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Der Besuch hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Vielen Dank!

We had to ask again and again for drinks and in the end decided to cut it short and continue at a different place. We looked at the reviews from before which showed a great service but quite the opposite. Pricewise it was Ok and not over expensive so if looking for decent prices and average food then this is the place but nothing else really.

Thanks very much for a lovely dinner with colleagues, there were 8 of us. All the food was sublime, perfectly cooked and well presented and our evening made very special by the attentive Spyros.

Chose the restaurant for its proximity to Liverpool Street and recent reviews. First problem was access which involved around a dozen steep stairs and not much to hold on to, an issue for one of my party. We decided we needed a smaller table and we were moved without difficulty although the bench seat coverings had some tears. Our choice of starters, tiger prawns and beetroot salad were generally approved although I have had softer scallops, maybe a touch overdone. Bread and olives were requested and strangely, for four people, we were given three hot mini-loaves (which worked out at £2 each). Main courses were again generally good, my only complaint about the beef and ale pie was I couldn't eat it all! However, my wife found her roast potato had apparently only been shown a flame and was quite inedible. Her dish was replaced and she was happy with this although it meant she ended up eating well after the rest of us had finished. To be fair and without our needing to suggest some recompense, the restaurant removed the cost of her dish and offered us free deserts. The mixed berry sorbet was a particular hit. This is a big restaurant and probably more popular with people on expense accounts. Not sure I would go again, but apart from the rogue potato, the food was well prepared and dishes were served to the right people, always a winner for me.

Beautiful space that’s reputation rests in large part on the creatively envisaged and expertly executed food, wine, and service. A hidden gem in the heart of the City. We enjoyed a wonderful meal in lush surroundings with accommodating staff. Highly recommend.

Long waiting time, the food wasn't hot, and the steak was extremely chewy. The bartender got confused with the cocktail and gave it to someone else at first and when I asked about it, he just went to that person, took it from them and give it to me claiming that noone has drunk from it yet.

Legitimately the best restaurant around Liverpool Street Station! Doesn’t matter what I get I end up liking it. Probably the best Porterhouse Steak I’ve had, just annoyed I've had to share!

On arrival our coats were taken and we were led to a nice booth which we were pleased with, the first thing we were told however was that the a la carte menu was not on offer, on the website we had checked out the NYE menu and would have preffered the a la carte for the steak options... (online it said you could choose) Service was long. Like 3 hours for 2 set menus long. At first I appreciated the time as we were eating and chatting and relaxing but eventually the wait times got exhausting and we didn't want to be sat there waiting any longer. Overall I would say a set menu like the one we had probably didn't justify £85 a head. And we would have happily spent more than that on a really good steak experience. Little bit disappointed but I think they probably know as an experiment it didn't work, no kitchen wants such delays at finishing a cover.

I had a good time last night and frankly the menus are at the top and the coocking is just yum. the prices in my opinion remain very accessible given the service and the presentation of the dishes they are just at the top... I had a wonderful culinary journey.

What an amazing restaurant. The service is exceptional from the moment you hand your coat in until the cloakroom attendant to the moment you leave. The food is first rate. I had a fillet steak that was cooked to perfection. Literally the best I have eaten. The location is great being on the edge of the city. The choice of wine is excellent. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

We went here for a girls steak night, perfect choice. We had the best steak(mine was fillet midium rare) and the sommelier paired our steak with a great Argentinian red wine. Great service, food and ambiance!
