Relaxed, very friendly restaurant. Full menu however we tried the banquet tonight. A taste assault, amazing fresh eastern spice experience. Traditional music enhances the ambience. Ample free parking and good wheelchair access. A first rate family night out. Did I mention it was relaxed? Take your time and savour a different pace of life.

I used to go to Raj Douth many years ago, I've recently returned and it's brilliant! Excellent, friendly service as you'd expect. Food was delicious. I had a cheeky beer while I waited. The décor has been updated since I last went and it's so much better. I can't wait to return soon.

The food was nice but did take over an hour waiting. They may have got confused as we had no spice at all. I will definitely go back to try again.

Really impressed, the food was extremely tasty, jucy and moist, I have never eaten anywhere, where the food tastes exactly the way my brain imagined it! Had a delicious banquet today, haven’t been able to come for a while so we were really looking forward to it. It was delicious as always, the service was excellent and the atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming.

Picked up a takeaway from New Dajdouth and it was really good! The restaurant looks lovely and all the people working there were really friendly.

We have just enjoyed a beautiful banquet lunch. This is our second visit to this gem of an Indian restaurant in Emerson Valley. The service was exceptional. We ate the garlic chilli chicken, chicken dhansak, keema naan, tarka dhal, sag paneer and starters. The food was delicious, not oily like some restaurants and all tasted beautiful and fresh. We were given orange segments as palate cleansers after the gorgeous meal. The owner was really lovely too and chatted to us. This restaurant is definitely worth a try, you won’t be disappointed. We will be back again.

I hadn't been here since it became the 'new' Rajdouth, but I was immensely impressed with the quality of the food and the service. The staff were very polite and helpful. I will definitely go back there.

Delicious food available to dine in or takeaway. Immaculately clean and fantastic service. We have both eaten in and has takeaway, equally good quality. Free drink at the end of the evening when we dined in which was an added bonus. Small local restaurant which is well worth patronising. We tried this restaurant as our usual Indian restaurant had dropped its standards and we weren't disappointed - give it a try, would highly recommend.

With family AND KIDS.......BIG NO NO.....This place is pathetic ..food is worst and the team is so bad that manager and waiters are so arrogant even towards ladies. I will not suggest to visit the place with family and kids. Without eating I paid the full bill and left the lace as manger threatened us to manhandle the family otherwise. We were peacefully having our dinner, which for the record was very tame as we asked for it to be spicy, until one of us noticed a hair in his naan bread. We very politely asked the waiters that there is hair and they called the manager. We only wanted to report it and give a genuine feedback so they can improve. However, when we told this to the manager, he straight up tried to flip it on us and said, “It could be your hair too.” That was one of the worst customer treatment I've ever seen. And when we told him to mind his tone, he was shouting in our face. We just paid our bill and left as soon and as calmly as we could.

Went there Saturday 25th of June 2022 after it's reopened. Muss the new owner made lots of changes nice restaurant friendly staff and the food is very nice highly recommend

A vast improvement over the "Old" Rajdouth.. Excellent service, good food and a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

A good experience, No one has a Smiling attitude. But an Indian food with English flavours.

Tried to make a telephone order for delivery. repeated my postcode and door number probably 10 times. Had to repeat my order multiple times so much so I thought they were taking the mickey. The guys English skills were practically ZERO. WHY PUT HIM ON THE PHONE to take orders. After a frustrating 10 minutes of order taking he repeated my order WRONGLY. And gave my a price of £34 for 2 mains with rice. Told him not to bother and hung up. Don t Bother.

Great curry here, very frendly staff

New Raj Douth rising from Raj Douth like New Coke rose from Coca Cola. The restaurant has had a gorgeous makeover. Unfortunately the staff and food make over not so great. Popped in to try the new menu and on ordering a takeaway felt quite pressured to order immediately even while saying I was waiting for my partner and then we would order. The Naan breads that always seemed home made and beyond amazing are now replaced with what appears to be typical Indian restaurant wholesaler fayre. The Pilau rice definitely looked like long grain and the Bombay Potato had undercooked potato (as did the Sag Aloo) and an incredibly thin sauce.. The mains (we tried two of the new dishes) were ok.. though dry chicken in one and very few pieces of lamb or chicken in either wasn't what we expected, nor to be honest did we expect the dishes to only be OK. What a loss to the town. My review of the original Raj Douth in 2018: Best Indian restaurant that we have found in Milton Keynes. A chilled relaxed atmosphere even when busy, welcoming staff and just an amazing range of flavours and dishes.

Very nice meal. We had the banquet that’s served every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday which is excellent value for money and full of flavour with loads to choose from. Cobra and king fisher on tap to wash it all down with, spot on 🍻

GREAT SERVICE! GREAT FOOD! Visited here tonight, 2 of us. The waiters were incredibly attentive and well mannered in every respect. The food was absolutely delicious. Full of flavour and plenty of it. Will be recommending to many of my friends and family. Truly a wonderful place to have some great food and superb service.

I am a person who loves a good curry having heard the Raj Douth had become the New Raj Douth.On Friday 22-7 I thought I would give it a try.Previously with the original Raj Douth I had ordered a few takeaway meals and discovered the quality was getting poorer and poorer. On arrival I was welcomed by Muss the new owner who along with his team were friendly and attentive.The meal I had was exceptional. I returned on Friday 29-7 and had an equally good curry, so much so I ordered a takeaway the day after. The takeaway meal was every bit as good as my restarant food and arrived on time. It must be difficult to turn a restarant that has gained a bad reputation round. But Muss and his team are doing that.It will be so nice to have a quality Curry house local to me again. Many thanks.

First time back since new ownership. Very friendly, attentive and efficient staff. The food was really good. Even the restaurant has had a well needed makeover and it looks lovely. Overall really impressed from start to finish. Was nice to meet Mus the owner, well done on turning the place around for the better. Look forward to coming back soon.

Restaurant is under new ownership and it has definitely improved from the old setup. The food is full of flavour and full of authentic Asian flavour. Would 100% recommend anyone in and around the area coming and trying it out. Great staff and very great food

Ridiculous people. Better to avoid, we came from Bedford for dining after booking but they didn't allow the take away.

WOWEE, my lamb madras was perfection! the lamb was very tender, spices were right, heat was right, mushroom rice also excellent and garlic nan soft fluffy Mmm. came in good time, the grub was plentiful, but the price was very reasonable.

Love the food, this is our go-to takeaway. Well priced and good portions. We made a mistake on our order and they were so helpful and generous, swapping out a dish for us even though it was our mistake! Happy to support such lovely people.

Ordered food via their online website. After an hour, called them and they apologised for lateness. Food arrived after 90 mins. It was not upto standard as Daal wasn't cooked properly. It seemed that thy just put it in microwave and warmed it up. It wasn't hot nor cooked properly. This was my first and last time with Raj Douth..... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM.

Me and my partner decided to try this place with Groupon voucher. I can't say that we were really welcomed, waiter was in the rush, despite there being only three tables and when we were paying our bill the waiter was pushing my partner asking how much change he has. Food was good and we thought to come back but the end spoiled everything, we were disappointed and won't go there again.

Free parking spaces. Reasonably priced Asian, especially, Bangladeshi and Indian food. Suitable for both personal or as well as medium size business/coporate events.

Food In general was okay, one chicken dish had 4 of pieces of meat. A few dishes were missing from the order, when we rang back were told they'd send the missing items and they just didn't turn up which is shocking. Will personally avoid this restaurant from now on due to many being far better. Extremely poor considering you support these businesses through tough times and they takec customers for granted. Really poor overall.

Missing items still haven't arrived. Food that did arrive was swimming in grease (see photo). Korma had 3 pieces of chicken in it. Literally the worst food presentation I've ever seen. I phoned the restaurant and they said they would send the food out again... Over 1 hour later and it still hasn't turned up. Will personally try to ensure that nobody I know uses this restaurant in future. Formal complaint with Just Eat currently underway.

The meal came on time but we asked for no spice for my husband in his meal and it came spicy. I was meant to have a chicken tikka balti and all I can say was it was a only a chicken balti (and that is being polite) and was literally swimming in grease! I will try and post a picture of the swimming balti!! Rang to complain as this was the first time we had used this takeaway (it's my Birthday) and there was no offer of a partial refund etc. Would never recommend this place.

Ordered today for delivery, very disappointed food quality, taste and packing was horrible entire bag was spill with curry and oil, mess all the other food, no value for money which we paid for, really disappointed and will never and ever recommend to anyone, anyway thanks for your junk food you given to us.

Decent Indian restaurant.. tasty food .. had tandoori chicken ( on a diet ) succulent and flavorful.. vegetable naan is delicious. Just failed on getting five stars as the meat samosa is clearly factory made not hand made .. overall is a nice meal out

HONEST REVIEW. The food itself is really nice. However make sure you collect and NOT get delivery as you will be waiting a long time and by the time it gets to you it's cold... My partner rang them after an hour past the delivery time and asked to speak to manager - the person awsnering the phone call was rude and kept hanging up or making excuses....after a 2 hour wait and 5 phones later the food arrives while my partner is on the phone for the 6th time... My partner offered them a compimise to COLLECT a fresh one. The man on the phone said 'punch him in the face and send it back' baffled and hungry we accepted the food. Since then we have been on live chat to just eat and they said you can't get a refund unless the restaurant states its been delivered. So they offered us a free meal IF WE ORDERED WITH THEM AGAIN. Bad customer service and management. Otherwise the food ( if not cold) is great.
