New Orchid Garden in Glasgow City

Never had a Red Chicken chow mein used to enjoy the food out there had a couple of disgusting meals lately and am not prepared to lose £ 20 / 30 pounds a pop to go in the bin ..well that's the last I will be going elsewhere in future

Ordered a rake away last Sunday. Delivery was great and the food was absolutely amazing. Will definitely use again.

Tray of chips, fried rice and curry sauce. No prawns. No chicken or pork. No boiled untill flavourless beef. Not even any onions! FIVE POUNDS AN' SIXTY PENCE! *Now that's how you make money!

I got a chips rice curry sauce, it tasted decent but you get such a small portion that it isnt worth it! I dont recommend :/

Only gave 1 star because I can't give zero.. What can I say , the place used to be alright , me and a few friends ordered last night and the food was barking , I got a chicken fried rice, the chicken was disgusting, hard and chewy with fatty bits actually gave me the boak , and the portion of rice that came with it was less than a small fried rice .. cost a fortune for what we got and most of it went in the bin .. whoever is giving good reviews on here must be the owners pals , avoid like the plague troops , plenty of other places too choose from..

My fiancé and my boy went in on Thursday about half 6 at night my wee boy opened a cuppbored as my fiancé was placing her order the lady behind the counter was very absusive towards them both made them feel very uncomfortable to top it of the food was cold stay well clear I will be down soon

Just had the Mongolian House Special (recommended by the restaurant) Absolutely Delicious!

Rice hard like reheated round sides of tray beef slimy onions tasted like day old and prawn crackers soggy worst curry I’ve ate in a while couldn’t finish it now have bad taste left in my mouth very disappointed ☹️ delivered very quickly which made me skeptical was too quick for Friday night!

This place has went downhill recently reheated chips ,tough chicken smaller portions and increased prices Ended up throwing it in the bin Won’t be ordering from here again

Food was good last min stop be for going home after a long day working loved the spring rolls and ribs.

Asked for small salt and chilli beef chow mein small, relieved a small tub of beef in batter no chow mein, I called up and they woman says I haven't got that wrote done and basically it's your fault 😂, the wee girl on the phone got it wrong I spoke as clear as anything just take the L

Got my order wrong then I had to go back and they wanted to charge me for wrong order. Their Attitude was terrible. Won't be back again.

What a sheer waste of money got sweet and sour chicken chips fried rice pancake rolls chips half cooked full of grease sweet and sour full of grease chicken very dry and powdery not make any difference phoning to complaining doesn't get any were lost a good customer now won't be phoning there again

Best chinese around local to my Gran alongside New wok cusine. go there once a week and food is fantastic, reasonable pricing, kind approachable staff⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unfortunately this time, the normally wonderful team didn't give me what I ordered. I got back home and discovered I'd got thick noodles in my special chow mein instead of my requested thin noodles. Very disappointed, although it was still very nice.

Staff too busy gossiping with delivery driver to notice your order has been sitting on the counter for 15 minutes, while you wait outside the window for them to call you. Not that sorry either. Wont waste my time there again.

Fantastic food all made fresh , staff are friendly and helpful , shop is spotless , there is a little parking outside but it's a busy shop .

Amazing beef and chicken curries....only negative is the salt and pepper chicken was really hard on 2 occasions and on 1 occasion i think the fried rice was reheated (could tell from the silver tray and taste of rice) hasn't put me off though... if it happens again I'll phone and tell them.

Best chinese in Glasgow, eat from here every weekend and always get a good meal.

Very professional team, from initial phone call to very quick delivery. Food is very tasty and lots of choice on the menu.

Food was stunning would recommend only problem I had was they were so busy answering the phone took me about 10 minutes to place my order the girl was trying but the guy kept answering phone n telling her to sort orders (what about the customer's standing in front of you) apart from that food was lovely So four stars for making me wait so long

Tried new chinese take away and it was lovely. I tried Mongolian beef as recommended by lady in shop and was not disappointed it was delicious. Will certainly be going back for seconds and thirds.... .

Usually order a salt and pepper munchies box and has been great every time, also had other things that have also been very nice

distusting food iv ever tasted , chicken balls where full of oil and fat the oil was poring out of them no way i could eat them and chips were all burnt and soggy and curry sauce was all watery they even put soya sauce of my salt and pepper chips when i asked not to ! waste of money food was put in bin looked like the driver ate half of it while walking up the stairs , wont be ordering from here again most dirty chinese ever im pregrant and ragging
