After many recommendations decided to give New Moon a try. Superb, delicious three courses. Staff friendly and showed great attention to detail, smart decor throughout.

Not much choice of places to eat here, so was recommended this pub by the hosts of a B+B where I was staying. The staff could have been a bit more welcoming but I was able to take my dog in with me and although menu was small it had enough choice to find something I would like. I picked the Haddock which came with hand cut chips and salad. It was a little more expensive than other places I have dined, but I am very fussy with fish and this was cooked perfectly so I don't mind paying a little extra for quality and well cooked food.

Popped in for a quick lunch on Saturday as heard great things about the newly refurbished New Moon and we definitely weren't disappointed. The food was delicious all freshy prepared. Friendly staff, nice surroundings (we sat in the beer garden as it was a nice day), very reasonably priced and generous portions. Thank you for a lovely meal. Will definitely be back.

Food okay, not much selection but the service is dire. Good luck getting a waitresses attention to get any drinks or food ordered, as they just keep walking past ignoring you. We only managed to get one drink all the time we were there. Once we completed our main meal we just gave up waiting for someone to ask if we wanted anything else and asked for the bill which never came so we had to go to the bar and ask for it. They seem to be better at lunch times but for a weekend night in the restaurant good luck.

Been on several occasions with family and friends. Great surroundings, super variety of freshly made meal choices. Generous portion sizes and child options smaller but from the same menu. A great idea. Prices are spot on. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Never been disappointed.

You will be amazed at the amount of time it takes to get your order. Possibly the slowest ever experienced. Bland and not worth waiting for.

During an impromptu visit to the New Moon on a lovely sunny Saturday evening. We enjoyed a lovely drink in the beer garden to the rear of the building. We decided to stay and have some food, despite being fully booked they managed to find us a space for 2. The food was lovely and arrived in a timely manner, we cannot fault the service. We stayed for a few drinks after and met a few of the extremely friendly locals.

I would like to highly recommend The New Moon Bar for there surroundings, friendly welcoming staff and delicious food. We were out for the first time along with our parents who quite often go there for food and drinks. The burgers were delicious and moist. My husband had the Giuness pie and he said it was exceptional. I had the meatballs and tagliatelle with a side salad, which was scrumptious. puddings are lovely too. Really appreciated that the food is cooked to order, you may need to wait a wee while because of this but that is what you expect with mouth wateringly tasty made to order freshly cooked food. You are all doing a great job and we will be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’ve visited the New Moon for a drink, lunch, enjoyed the beer garden, have always been made to feel welcome and so have my dogs. Food and coffee are all freshly made to order but worth the wait! I would highly recommend a visit.

We had a table booked for Saturday night and had to contact them to add another person to booking. They didn’t have us booked! After them checking they had us booked for Friday, but they did manage to fit us in. Not a good start. Table was booked for 7pm we placed our orders with the waitress had a drink and waited and waited and waited, starters eventually came at 8:10pm and mains at 8:50. To say we were not impressed is an understatement, the food was mediocre, nothing to right home about, I had meatballs and tagliatelle, distinct lack of seasoning, my wife had fish and chips, which looked nothing like the other diners fish, chips were rustic (skin on ) and when asked if normal chips were available we were told no. After finishing our meal the chef can and apologised for the time we waited, ok nice touch but they need to get there act together, other diners were going to have dessert but decided against it because of the time it took to get there main course.

I had a booking with yourself Tuesday 3rd april 4pm for Danni Beaton. For 5 people. 2 adults , 3 children. For the kids eat free deal. The service itself was absolutely perfect , really friendly and attentive. We had , Patriot burger £12.75 Buffalo burger £13.95 Two sides for £7.00 3x kids happy meals £7.75 each We had also ordered 3x cokes ( unsure how much they were) And i also had a 10% shares discount. The total bill has came to £65.85 , which seemed quite high? At the time of payment my 3 year old had just woken and not in the best of moods so I was a bit distracted, otherwise I wouldve been able to question there and then. I did try emailing the Inverurie branch, with no reply. And also via Instagram but have heard nothing back, apart from now an email asking how my time was at my booking. I know that the children eat free would only apply for 1 kid per paying adult So adding it all up we'd be paying for the Patriot, buffalo burger , 2 sides, one hoppy meal total £41.45 for food alone. Then whatever the cokes are, then the 10% off the final total. Just wondering if you'd be able to shed some light as I only have the receipt for my card payment , not bill with the items. As I was not given this. Many thanks, Danni.
