I liked the changes they made to the pub just a shame it was empty

A lovely warm welcome and the staff couldn't have been more helpful - we came for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed - fresh, homemade food, generous portions with lots of gravy - if you are looking for a fancy dining experience this is not for you, but if you want tasty home cooked with lots of flavour and lovely staff, you will not be dissatisfied! Well done

Good Sunday lunch, did get very busy but wait not long, party of 8, all happy without food, downside, no parking, have 2 park on street, we will return.

Cold, brittle atmosphere. Went in looking for some nice food (as spoken about in other reviews), asked the lady behind the bar whether there was anywhere specific to sit if we were eating, and she simply shook her head without a word. There was no sense of welcome or hospitality. Half the place had the lights turned off, so we perched on a couple of bar stools, had a whispered conversation about how uncomfortable we both felt, and then snuck out awkwardly while no one was looking. Perhaps for familiar locals this is a nice place to meet up, but for the average guests looking for a drink or some food I would not recommend trying the New Inn. We ended up heading just down the road to another pub and had an absolutely smashing time in a warm, friendly atmosphere with some fantastic food delivered by wonderful staff.

A pleasant pub in a village on the outskirts of Leeds a selection beers and spirits i eaten there but i they serve food as well.

Nice little country pub. Always a good selection of beers including hand pulled ales. Friendly staff. Nice ambience. A little small but that adds to the charm of the place. Even have live music. What's not to like?

The place don’t let dogs in! It looks a lovely place and somewhere I wanted a pint with the dog and an open /log burner fire!

If you're not regular, you're not welcome. That's how we were made to feel. So much for support your local pub. This pub definitely doesn't deserve the rating it's got, not with the current staff anyway.

Very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. Oldy worldly sort of place for people that like that sort of pub you will really like it.

Can only give one star as I came for lunch one Saturday and the place was still closed at 1340, when it should of been open at 12...I will re-review when I get the opportunity to eat here

Popped in for a drink with family. Our glass exploded, apparently it can happen with changes in temperature. The owner did all he could to make it safe again... Except offer us another drink! 😉

Only one person serving drinks, cooking food and serving the restaurant. I think I would've rather bought 40 steak pasties for the price we paid and the dog quality steak we received.

It stays open later than other pubs in the area. Staff are friendly and it doesn't get too rammed.
