New Hong Van in Leeds

I would give negative star if it's allowed. The food tasted terrible. I have never tried horrible food like this before. The attitude of the manager or owner was so rude that i think he should be fired.

What has happened to this place! I used to be good. Since Jade Garden closed (god knows why) this is the closes place. I ordered my normal egg fried rice and curry sauce. Sweet and sour chicken in battered balls. This was appalling in every way. The look the taste the consistency of the food was just wrong. Is it me, or are all dinning places dropping any sort of standards. Any sort of food quality. Food came out too fast now, I know why.

We ordered five meals all came with sides unfortunately the chips had been refried to death the prawn curry was watery and tasteless the other meals were mediocre at best! Since New Hong Van changed hands it has really gone down hill.our money was good shame I can't say the same about the food

Food was late, then was bland as anything waste of money and won't be back again

After 1 and a half hours of waiting for delivery, I called and they were less than apologetic, said they were very busy as it was fathers day ( I had placed my order at 5pm) they then cancelled my order without telling me, and frankly, were rude! So this family couldn't get a fathers day treat either! Absolutely ridiculous.

My favourite chinese takeaway in Leeds - food is always warm and lovely

First time i've ever been in there, but i was passing by at 10pm and was starving. The place smelled stale when i arrived, i should have left then. I ordered Salt and pepper spare ribs and a special fried rice. Both were absolutely awful, the food tasted like the place smelled. Terrible takeaway in a terrible run down drug dealing area, staff who couldn't care less. Avoid this horrible place at all costs.

The food is delicious and the price is relatively cheap in the surrounding area. It is recommended!

Used to order every Saturday night without fail, and this was a great chinese... As of late its been taken over by new management all the ingredients have changed although they have mentioned its the same chef it doesn't matter you choose your Chinese because of the taste and quality of food without that there's no use in keeping your local Chinese same with this one we've now got to order from others until we find the right one that we stick with

Absolutely shocking service !!! Menu has changed not sure if under new management but called up twice woman couldn’t understand what me or my partner wanted , ordered online ‘all eat app’ food came , rice was missing .. called up driver said will bring me some in 10mins, called again and he said he couldn’t fine my house ????? Called again woman said it’s a call centre & to call driver, tried 5 times driver wouldn’t answer ! Arrived 40mins later with my rice ?? Wont be going back here again, used to be so nice & pleasant .. ridiculous now!

Ordered for delivery, waited an hour although I only live 5 mins away. Phoned to see where my order is and they had no idea even though it was the same person who'd taken my order. Had to go walk round for my order even though I'm ill and they had the CHEEK to try and charge me the same price as a delivery. Cut a long story short DON'T Order FOR DELIVERY FROM THIS SHOP. Food's okay but service terrible x10

Their sweet and sour pork is the best I've ever tasted. I just wish that for health reasons they could do it with slices of pork with no batter instead. Long time customer 😁

Best Chinese takeaway I've had meals taste great every time bit pricey but you get what you pay for

The owner and delivery driver for this takeaway are vandals. They damaged my car and then refused to apologise. The place itself is dirty and unhygienic. The delivery driver is also dirty and unprofessional. Avoid is you don't want to contract food poisoning.

I order from here all the time the food is delicious never disappointed.

Food was superb,quality and tasty, worth of value. Clean and comfy waiting area. Friendly staff and service. Will definitely come back again.

Haven't had food from here in a long time. Thought I would give them a try, will not be going back, every thing tasted as if it was cooked from frozen. The place looked dirty, cobwebs on the lights, a kids bike leaning by the counter. Looked as if the owners did not care.

When you first walk in its not impressive, there are kids toys and a pushchair which is a little off putting and seems to be there permanently, however its clean and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. Worth a visit.
