New Honey Flower in Perth & Kinross

We come to this area every year (for over 20 years now) and have tried various Chinese takeaways - but always come back here because it is by far the best in the area. Value for money is incredible and the only criticism we can make is that the portions are so generous that we occasionally have to waste some food - not a bad criticsm at all. Everything we have tried has been good - so cannot make a recommendation other than - come here for your Chinese food in this area!!!

Lovely Chinese takeaway. I had king prawn and mushroom and the Mrs has char Sui cashew nut , both with fried rice and was delicious . Friendly bloke behind the counter and just waited outside till order was ready. Paid with cash no problem.

Big portions and very good food. Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend this takeaway.

The pancake roll was enormous and really tasty All of the portions were tremendous Probably experienced the best takeaway main course dish I’ve ever had - the king prawn with ginger and spring onion was delicious and fresh with al dente vegetables in a delicious sauce Really good find

I had the Ginger Beef with rice. My partner had Chicken Fried Rice. Reasonably priced and plenty in the serving. Complimentary prawn crackers, which were an unexpected touch.

We find this takeaway to be great, the portion size is excellent and their special chow mein is highly recommended

Had occasion to try this in early April with a large take away order and no one was disappointed with their respective meal. Speed of service was excellent and was ready when they promised. Portions are very generous and not bulked out with cheap veg etc. I would not hesitate to try this again.

Eat out from here religiously every week never had a bad thing to ever say about this place friendly staff and quality food and portions highly recommend to eat out here 10/10 from us 👍🏻

We ordered our meal by phone and collected about ten minutes later. We had a shrimp curry each which was the most tasty one I have had for years. The service was very friendly ,the food was hot,a very good portion size and it didn't 't break the bank. We will certainly eat from there again when we are back next October.

The title says it all really. Not much to choose from in the local area and apparently per parents this was the better one, the other must be bad. The price is about £3 more expensive that our local in Nottingham per dish, we couldn't believe how much they were charging. We had the crispy shredded chilli beef, which was not crispy in any shape or form, more a sticky gloopy congeeled mass. The boiled rice was sticky and solid, not soft and fluffy, chips we're cooked in oil that obviously needs changing, the curried chicken dish tasted like the curry sauce you get from a chip shop! Best thing were the prawn crackers which says it all really. They don't so prawn toast or deliver. Suffice to say we will not use this place again lad who served us was very polite though

Me and sister went there for takeaway few times and we had mix chicken, pork, prawns with oyster sauce, chicken ginger, chicken mushrooms and wanton soup all was good and great size of portion we share it and all freshly cooked, all was good and the owner is friendly, miss the food and definitely recommend this place.

Visiting for a few days with the family, so decided on a Saturday Take Away. Choose the New Honeyflower and on first impression thought wow Big portions and looks good. But that’s as far as it went. £70 later and the bin had nearly all of it. 6 of us eating and everyone of us agreed it was massively disappointing. Not Good At All.

I can’t really understand how this place has received so many good reviews. The best redeeming quality I can think of is the guy who served me was nice. The lemon chicken was chewy & the sauce had a chemical/toothpaste sort of taste. The shredded chilli chicken was tough. The ribs were nothing close to “the best ribs on Scotland”. Maybe if you’d smoked some a wicked doobie or you’d never eaten much food before you’d think that? Last, but by no means least, the spring roll was hilariously massive! Like a deep fried burrito, with spring roll ingredients. We’re going to keep it and use it deal with any intruders at our home.

This has been, over the years, my goto place for Chinese take away in the Auchterarder area. The portion sizes are very generous and have never been skimped on over the years for as long as the really nice folks who own the business have been there. Now about those ribs....NHF's spare ribs are quite possibly the best in Scotland. I would probably drive 30-40 miles for a portion. Also they've got loads of meat on them and a portion is a meal on its own.

I can only say positive things about this fantastic take away. Great food, great service and the best sweet and sour chicken I've tasted outside of Asia.

We get a takeaway here nearly every week. We just had a takeout last night and we are never disappointed in the service (very friendly, very efficient), never disappointed in the food (quality ingredients, especially given the extensive menu), and never disappointed in the price (always reasonable). We will continue to be customers at this establishment. They know how to keep their customers happy.

If this is not the best Chinese Takeaway in the U.K then I would like to know where it is! We were assured that the New Honey Flower was something special and we were not disappointed. If you live nearby or just visiting and you have not given the New Honey Flower a try then please do I am sure that you will be delighted. Looking forward to our next visit as we liked the food so much but you will have already guessed that!

One night stay and I fancied to try this place after reading the reviews. I ordered a Special chow me in for £7.70 which is more than I pay in the West Midlands but the portion sizes were supposed to be large so....... it was! A huge portion. Plenty of everything and very tasty. Fast service too!!

I hate leaving negative reviews! The guy that served us was just lovely but the food was revolting. The chicken/veg chow mein was in some sort of sauce, the chicken tasted really weird it went straight in the bin.

Sadly this was the worst Chinese food we've ever bought. £35 worth of waste went in the bin within 10 mins of getting it home.

We regularly buy takeaway from The New Honey Flower and personally we have never been disappointed and have tried various items on the menu. The staff are friendly and courteous and we would recommend this takeaway.

When I moved back to the area after many years it was nice to see the New Honey Flower still in business. Since I've been away they upped their game with the addition of crispy shredded chicken/or beef with chilli sauce to their menu, it's pretty good.I can also recommend their bbq spare ribs. These are lovely and tender and have loads of meat on them. So many other places fleece you with less well cooked ribs with practically no meat on the bones. Finally they do a better fish supper than either of the chippies in Auchterarder. Sure it's breaded haddock, but I prefer that. Their chips are amazing compared to the other takeaways, decent thick cut chips.All they need to do now is add prawn toast and crispy seaweed to the menu and life will be complete.

This is the best Chinese I've ever had, I've had a lot of Chinese. If your ever near the honey flower you should definitely go and try some of there dishes. I ordered chips and Hong Kong style sweet and sour, it was amazing the sauce is so nice, the chips are the best in town and the best in Perth and Kinross. I've went a few times and I also have had the gravy before which I also suggest you try cause it is very nice. Will definitely be eating here again!

This was recommended to us and I am so glad it was. Bit more expensive than we are used to paying but totally worth it! Suggestion: order a third less than you think you want! Portions are BIG!

Was told to try this Chinese so head over and placed the order took it home and started to eat it ..didn't finish it as it was told waste off Money and waste of petrol ....the chip tasted and looked like reheats...the chicken in batter was like rubber couldn't cut into the batter had to get a steak knife to cut into it ...so ened up waste the whole lot so won't be going back

We ended up going here on Monday night because we struggled to find a place for a sit in meal.The Food was excellent and was ready really quick.Potions were large and the pieces of chicken in our meals were unreal.Highly recommended.

I have visited the new honey flower for years and have since stopped visiting the 2 chip shops in the town as there are no better chips than at the new honey flower. menu is fairy large and offers plenty to satisfy most people. My favorite is sweet and sour chicken balls with chips. Service is always fast and the family that own and run this business are always friendly and a pleasure to chat to. Would recommend to anyone! (even if its just for a bag of chips... which is a big bag too!)

Llegamos tarde a nuestro hotel y todos los sitios estaban cerrados, pasamos por delante y había gente pidiendo. Pedimos un menú para 3 personas y cenamos 5 personas, sobrándonos la mitad de la cena. No es maravilloso pero si una cantidad enorme y de calidad decente

We get our Chinese food regularly from here and always have had good speedy service, tasty food and plenty of it for a reasonable price. Never had a bad meal in over 30 years of using the New Honey Flower. Traditional Chinese Carry out food.

Please do not waste your money buying a takeaway from the New Honey Flower. I read previous reviews written on trip advisor and was really sure that we would be happy with our choice of takeaway. I was definitely not happy and most of the takeaway had to be binned.I do not know who are posting these comments but in my opinion it CANNOT be satisfied customers. BEWARE!

Favourite Chinese take away ever. Great sized portions always friendly welcoming and will recommend. If you fancy something that's not on the menu they are very flexible and nothing is a problem.

i have use this takeaway almost every week for years. I have tried many of the dishes and each is excellent. Family owned and run business, Eddie and Trevor are an excellent combination of chef and server, if that's the right word. Happy to accommodate changes to recipes or menus, but the standard dishes are great.Best Sweet & Sour Chicken with fried rice I have tried anywhere in the world!

Just a quick review really don't really review take aways but new honey flower deserves a mention this is by far the best place for Chinese in Auchterarder and the perth shire area In my opinion. The service is always so friendly.

This take away has serviced Auchterarder for MANY years and the food and staff are always top notch. The Honeyflower proves smiling for every customer is possible! Other venues, take note.

This takeaway is the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. Their special Chinese curry in literally to die for, exquisite. The staff are always polite and courteous and can't do enough to help, always smiling and cheery. I would recommend the Honeyflower cuisine to anyone.
